Absolutely useless waste of space! When I lived in a property they managed on the day I moved it they gave me the wrong keys so I couldn't get into the property. It was the start of months of very poor service, even the landlord got fed up with them!

TERRIBLE experience, I attempted to book viewings 3 times and they cancelled it. No sincere apologies, as if people don’t need time off work, to make these bookings. They would respond 24hrs after each messege. Just ridiculous. Asked for my number and emails no calls and it’s been over a week. Zero if possible.

Recently stayed over at a Jones and Co property to visit a friend and as someone that doesn’t live there I’m absolutely appalled. After further investigation and photographic evidence shown to me of the properties condition BEFORE the property was deeply cleaned by the tenant, am I deeply disgusted… what a terrible state, the agency should be deeply ashamed! I don’t leave reviews often but I feel bad for the tenant and the fact that they felt unheard and could not reach out.
Jones and Co should be embarrassed.
Furthering on, I looked through the reviews and the agency seemed to have a great standing. However, looking at a low reviews reflected MANY of the same problems the property faced. To me it just seems that this place is moving to entice you in with great imagery and professional agents, then have you face dreadful conditions once under the contracts. It’s understandable that an agency’s job is to sell you a property, but the lack of honesty is quite concerning.
Back onto the reviews, I saw a variety of responses from the company replying to the bad reviews which is great! All of them seem understanding, deeply apologetic and clearing up issues… also great! Except you reply to those expressing their concerns publicly after stuff has hit the fan, after people have taken their concerns to public reviews where other potential customers can see. Not only that you seem to reply to these reviews and yet allegedly not reply to active tenant coming forward with problem or brushing it of. What an agency!!
To conclude, it’s not a good look if someone who doesn’t even reside at one of your properties thinks it’s bad enough to take to Google reviews but I'm not a tenant nor a landlord pulling in money for you so what does it matter?

On first glance, Jones and co seem amazing. Our viewing last year was fabulous and Adam was amazing. Although, little cracks started to appear, including them spelling an email wrong when sending our contracts which they disregarded and ended up nearly loosing our house. However, after being in the property for 2 months, safe to say they are horrendous. Our house was left dirty, damaged (including paint scuffs and even a massive rip in the paint in the upstairs shower which means we cannot use it) and the garden and garage was left cluttered and full. We immediately contacted them that day - and nothing. They haven't tried to fix these issues, or even reply. We are still having to send follow up messages to them to even get a reply, and nothing. They only send messages about a gardener and whether we want to live their next year. Never again will I go with a Jones and Co property to let - it has been a horrendous experience so far!

I was a former tenant. Property management has been incredibly friendly and helpful. Particularly, during last winter the flat's central heating system went down over factors beyond the landlord's control. Regardless, property management took the initiative to lend each of us a portable heater sent to our doorsteps free of charge even before any of the tenants have made such a request. When I have a urgent enquiry, their agents are even willing to answer my question after office hours.

Jones & Co are in my mind a really professional yet relaxed and friendly letting agents. I speak here mainly referring to Jo who dealt direct with me throughout. Always helpful, suggesting ideas to attract more prospective tenants, sharing her best and most trusted tradespeople, and possibly best of all she was ALWAYS available on the phone or WhatsApp, (evenings and weekends too if particularly essential!). And the fact that I never had to go through a switchboard to talk to what may or may not be the right person was SUCH a relief too! We would DEFINITELY use this company again when the need arises, it was actually a pleasure establishing the connection with them for our house renting needs.from the start!

STUDENTS BE AWARE
Jones & Co from experience are great at keeping up with maintenance requests and are generally not at all bothersome during the tenancy period.
However, what I cannot forgive is their scummy check-out practices. Please DEMAND that you attend the check-out inspection, otherwise they will sabotage and "dirty up" the place to justify inflated cleaning prices to deduct from your deposit.
After spending a whole month disputing them with my own photographic evidence showing the sabotaged areas as clean and spotless, they eventually backed down and released my deposit in full.
ALWAYS make sure to take photos of the property as soon as you move in and right before you move out!

In my opinion Jones and Co is by far the worst letting agent in all of Norwich, surpassing even William H Brown. The team are completely uncoordinated, and constantly harass tenants trying to book viewings at times they have said that they won't be home. I had to email on 7 separate occasions to ask for this behaviour to stop, only when I threatened to take them to the ombudsman did they decide to stop. None of the agents communicate between each other and it's common to regularly receive contradictory information from whoever you are speaking to. It took 17 days from leaving the property to return my deposit even though it should be at most 10. They will regularly bombard you with texts which you cannot unsubscribe from. I still get them to this day. Properties you rent from them may not be cleaned when you move in. I highly recommend you go to another letting agent and stay far far away from these leeches.

As a family, we had the worst experience with this agency. We were told that the landlord rejected our application after going through referencing and releasing vital and confidential information about us and our guarantor. We kept calling for two-three weeks and we were being lied to that they had not gotten through to the landlord. It was an absolute nightmare as they treated us like we were an option. Even during referencing, we didn’t feel supported by them as they did not assured us in following up with the referencing agency. If you are a POC especially, stay clear of them. I would not recommend.

STUDENTS STAY FAR AWAY !!!I had the worst experience with this landlord ( John Malley) he tried to not let us move in one day before we had to move in fully knowing we was students and was moving from a house a day before , this should’ve been the first red flag from the start!!!
He never does maintenance in the house ,He comes in the property whenever he wants which is illegal, he talks down on you , is very rude , only cares about your money , you can’t have one single conversation with him and he doesn’t let you talk and only believes he’s right just cause he’s in the landlord, at the end he only gave half of my deposit fully well knowing I didn’t cause any serious damages!
I was paying a ridiculous price monthly for old / second hand furniture it’s not worth the price you can find better cheap places !!!
If you don’t want to be scammed I urge you not to go ahead with this agency or landlord!!!!!

Jones & Co is a professional letting agency that puts the customer first. Their online portal allows you to easily book a viewing around your own schedule at your own convenience with the freedom to change or cancel at any time.
The lovely agent Adam met me at a property i had booked to view and within five minutes of meeting him and before we had even seen the room he told me that the house i was viewing would not be for me, and immediately set me up to view a more suitable property.
I then met with Maisie who kindly showed me around, gave me all of the details, answered all of my burning questions and finally helped me choose the right room for my needs.
My experience with this agency was efficient and personal. If you want an agent that treats you as a person with needs rather than their next sale, you’re in the right place.

I have been renting a house for almost 18 months. Jones & Co were the only agente that treated myself and my family the way we should be treated. From the start they were very prompt to respond to queries and nothing seems to be a bother for them. Communication between myself and landlord is excellent through the agency and out of these months, there was only one tiny issue that tool longer to be resolved but nevertheless I was kept on top of what was going on with it all of the time.

Our landlord was very receptive to our requests and l think Jones & Co are the best agents l have dealt with in Norwich. They communicate really well and did listen when we had concerns and more often than not, helped us find a solution. I would not hesitate to rent from them again.

Me and my partner fell in love with the house we have now moved into as of yesterday. This wouldn’t have been possible without Maisie and the wonderful work she did, alongside her colleague Jo to secure the property for us due to it being a popular choice with other estate agents.
We completed our initial viewing with Maisie, she was kind and friendly, you could also see she cared and was enthusiastic about her job. Maisie was knowledgeable on the property and any questions we asked, she knew the answers to. We are really grateful that after offers of multiple estate agents to view the property, that we chose Jones & Co as I don’t think we would have received the service we did anywhere else.
If it wasn’t for Maisie and Jo’s promptness in contacting the owner of the property and strongly advocating for us, also getting the application process and checks done so swiftly, I really do think we would have missed out on this wonderful opportunity. We want to say the biggest thank you to you both and your team, for all of your hard work and efforts, thank you for everything you have both done for us, it really means a lot and we are incredibly grateful to you both. You both went above and beyond and it hasn’t gone unnoticed!

Chris and Jo (the owner) came with recommendations from the sourcer and builder for my properties in Norwich - one 6bds HMO and another 4flats.

When I moved in there was brick dust across the worktops and literal pasta on the floor. They insisted it had been "professionally cleaned". It had not.
When I moved out, I left it absolutely spotless. They attempted to deduct £250 from my deposit for "cleaning fees" and had the cheek to say they were giving me a discount as they could see I'd "made an effort".
I went to ombudsman and Jones & co because the DPS saw them for exactly what they are: crooks.
They also sent a workman into my room whilst I was sleeping without permission and refused to apologize :) avoid this lot

They booked my friend for a viewing, then cancelled without letting her know. And the staff were very rude and unprofessional. Instead of apologising, they resort to sending nasty text asking why she was there for the viewing.
They have no clue how their booking system works. It appears their booking system, probably automated, had gone ahead to send booking links and confirmation of booking, but the staff failed to communicate to client that the house was no longer available.
They wasted my 1 hour and I didn’t even get an apology. Very poor from them.

Awful experience and still waiting for a response to my last three emails regarding my daughter deposit and her student flatmates from four months ago. Dodgy lands lord who is trying to charge 5 students for work that has not been paid been done yet! Cowboy company. If you want a company who doesn’t pay back your deposit and put you with cowboy landlords choose this agency

Terrible experience. Again, held onto my daughter's deposit for 6 weeks after she left the property without any explanation. Also asked to speak with the mysterious 'Chris' and nothing forthcoming. Not a great place to deal with - avoid.

As a business stay away from these they mess you about with pay expect you do work as cheap as anything but I bet they tell landlord a high price so unprofessional disgusting not worth the hassle avoid at all costs

Completly unprofessional, they have held on to my daughters deposit for over 6 weeks without any explanation. On calling them I was told that Chris was the manager but could not be contacted. George who I spoke to told me they would be back to me a some point. Apauling customer service and they do not care about their tenants.
Avoid at all costs.

STUDENTS STEER CLEAR
I have to safe I am dissatisfied by the service Jones & Co provided me and my fellow tenants throughout the course of our tenancy. As a student, I felt disrespected as they went around their business regarding the property we were renting. It was as if we were their last priority.
An example of this is when the central heating system broke in the middle of winter. We notified them straight away, which was out of hours, and their response was please don’t contact us out of hours this is not an emergency. If it was -2°C outside and you didn’t have central heating for 4 days how would you feel?
Their handyman they employed was awful. He never cleared up behind him. When he came to fix my shower door (that was broken when I moved in), he left all of his mastic shavings on my bathroom floor and in the shower basin.
Also make sure you clean the house properly at the end of tenancy, because they will scrounge you for every penny they can get from you.
