How this agency sells houses is beyond me. Their communication is horrendous. Advertise themselves as 24 hours 7 days a week, I couldnt even get an email reply in working hours.
I made contact to view a property in 2 weeks time, was asked to provide my details and they'd call me nearer the date id ask to view. 4 days before the date id received no communication so I called on a Tuesday spoke with Jordan asking for a viewing Saturday which was agreed and I was advised id receive an email confirmation. By late Friday no confirmation received so I called to be told the house was sold (I was driving 120 miles to view the property - when were they going to tell me?) 2 weeks later the same property comes back on the market (4 weeks from my initial contact) no one called me despite expressing interest twice. I emailed to ask if i could view the property, no response. After 5 days I emailed again to be told the whole office was shut due to Jordan getting married abroad, that's why I wasn't responded to. Clearly no one in this office has heard of an auto out of office. Anyway, I purchased the property with another agent. Had this agency actually followed up with my enquiry once the house went back on the market they would have got the the sale themselves.

I recently sold my house in Christchurch through Jordan Marks Estates. I chose them partly because of their High Street location which meant they could walk to do viewings, but also because of their responsiveness to my request for a quote, particularly when a competitor agent failed to get back to me. Jordan, George and myself regularly communicated via a dedicated WhatsApp group, which meant they could update me after viewings which they did straightaway. A special mention for George in particular who had lots of energy and was always upbeat even when the viewings seemed to stall slightly. Eventually a buyer fell in love with it and things progressed very smoothly up to completion last week. Thanks to Jordan and George for their hard work and perseverance.

I have been incredibly disappointed by the service from Jordan Marks. The communication from both Jordan and George was diabolical and both myself and my wife had to chase information and challenge when being given fabricated information regarding our purchase.
Their information at the time of property viewing was incorrect, telling us that within the lease we could have a pet, to move in and find out immediately by the freeholder that no pets were allowed. When asked about this, they said it's nothing to do with them and took no accountability for their incorrect information and incompetence.
On the day of completion when collecting the keys, there was no congratulations. My wife was pretty much thrown a set of keys and didn't even make it fully into the office door.
From start to finish, they made of purchase journey far harder than what was needed and treated us with disrespect and disregard which I can only put down to us being women.

My first experience of renting and I can only say please never use this estate agents!
They are so rude , unprofessional and have no basic practices In place for tenets other than to take your money.
I started renting my property last year under the impression it was a long term let….. I later found out from when I moved in the same property was on the market within 3 weeks and the previous tenets also Informed me they moved out as the landlord wanted to sell, yet at the viewing Jordan failed to mention this fact when he was advertising it as a long term let.
Whenever you rang to speak to Jordan he would be so rude down the phone and treat you as if you where stupid, and than hang up mid conversation. He did this often.
It took them 9 weeks to fix a problem In The property despite having photos of the issue
Every time you called he would say
“What do you want me to do , I’ve reported it to a plumber “
Yet expected this to be a reasonable answer In why it had taken so long to be fixed.
The whole company runs on making money and selling once you rent with them they don’t care about there tenet as where not the client the landlord is the client.
Very unprofessional and rude , I cannot explain how rude when calling and hanging up.

I couldn’t recommend Jordan and his team enough! They made me feel so welcome from the offset and made a stressful process become so much easier. Not only did they all go above and beyond to sell my home, but also helped me with the process of finding a new one. Nothing ever felt too much for them, they are open 7 days a week and they always kept me updated with the progress without me having to chase. I have been to a few other agents previously and never had this level of service. Super impressed and very happy. Thank you all so much!

Warning bells should have rung when the exiting tenant warns you how bad the agents are!
Once they have your money they are in willing to resolve any issues, in fact you’re lucky if you get a reply at all.
Could give a 1001 reasons as to why you shouldn’t rent a property from this unpleasant bunch, however to summarise;
Unprofessional
Rude
Not willing to resolve any issues
Recommend you take pictures of everything before you move in and when moving out.
Put everything in writing
In fact, just find another agent - you won’t regret it.

UPDATE: Because of my review, below I have now had another rude (and inaccurate) email stating that instead of returning our deposit as soon possible as initially indicated, they would like to take two weeks to review. The property was in poor condition with a front door that would get stuck
This is a house we had professionally painted spending £1200.
Quite possibly the worst letting agent I have ever come across. Do not sort issues, ignore emails and calls and Mark one of the agents is aggressive. Tried to charge us £50 for an emergency engineer when the front door would not open because, and I quote "I was not stuck in the property and could have climbed out the window and waited for the normal engineer". We have had a water leak on the property for almost a year that has resulted in an £7,600 bill (in my name) and despite sending a 'plumber' round, the issue is not fixed. I am now told that it's not their responsibility and they'll try and get hold of the owner. This has been going on for a month. Avoid at all costs.

This is the worst possible letting agents ever. Jordan is rude, cocky, is a compulsive liar, he is VERY deceiving, money hungry, con artist who took advantage of me in my time of need. I'm only 19 and this is the second time I have ever rented a property. I was desperate to find a home for me and my baby and when I viewed this property I thought j could decorate it to make it livable. Jordan promised me a weeks worth of works before my moving in date yet nothing had been done in years. There was rubbish left in the house, the shed and the garden from the previous tenants. My mum visited me 3 hours after I collected my keys and was horrified. She immediately called him and he was rude and obnoxious and unwilling to help. She then contacted Bournemouth Council who then took on my case. This is still ongoing due to the amount of things that breech health and safety. Jordan then demanded the keys back of the locks would be changed. This is what I now know as an illegal eviction. Then he took £1100 rent and is trying to get my £600 from my deposit. I had the keys less than 4 weeks and never got to move in. Stay well clear. His dad even wrote and admitted the condition of the property was poor and in need of work. Vile vile vile people

Very poor from Jordan Rideout!
We viewed a flat for rent, when I enquired about it a week before I was told he had 5 viewings so needed to be quick. We left it for a week and emailed him again and to our surprise the property was still available so we arranged a viewing.
Nothing wrong with the viewing but while viewing I asked if Virgin Media was available which he replied yes I think so? We also asked for a shower screen to be installed which he agreed to because other people viewing the property had asked for the same.
Agreed we would take it that afternoon and left a deposit (around about 3/4pm)
We then phoned Virgin Media to move address and we’re told it wasn’t available but not the end of the world as we could get Sky Fibre or BT!
We then went to get Sky or BT and to be told that fibre wasn’t available at the property? This automatically made the property no good as we need fast fibre for our jobs! I emailed Jordan 8am the following morning so 17/18 hours after we left the deposit to say we couldn’t go ahead due to needing fibre! His reply was the landlord says the WiFi is good so don’t worry, still a no go for us as we needed fibre! Asked to cancel and for our deposit to be returned but was told No due to the shower screen already being installed and that costing more than our deposit (Don’t see how you can buy and install a shower screen between 4pm and 8am the next day) especially with the current climate!!
Questioned that and was then told that it wasn’t all the shower screen, there were some charges for credit checks and that the references had been done? All in that little amount of time?
Basically the bloke just lies to you, there’s no way all the off that could have been done in that time frame and when I asked my employer and current landlord if they had been contacted they said No! So once again just fed a pack of lies! Wouldn’t recommend at all!

If I could give this company a -5 start rate I would, I have to leave a 1 start to leave my review. This company is not even worth that.
My property was for sale with Jordan and marks, the advertisement was incorrect we told them no to go live but they did. They so called ‘Sold our property’ to later tell us it had fallen through due to the incorrect details with their add. This cost us a lot of money in fees.
Then they said that they would have viewings and cash buyers ready To by my the property. I was always calling and chasing the estate agents for updates. Once Mark Ridout told me he was in my property doing a viewing... LIES as in actual fact I was in property! When I questioned this he hung up on me!!
Jordan Ridout is rude and not someone you would want selling or buying a property from. He talks the talk but when he comes to knowing what he does he hasn’t a clue.
Stay away from this company at all cost!

Awful. We were deceived, kept hanging on, and were incredibly upset by the lies we were strung along with. Messing with people's emotions and lying blatantly are not commendable.
We had an offer accepted on our dream home, were ready to go forward with 1st time buyers in place, were never told the back story of the seller despite having tried to keep communication smooth. Long story short, he sold the property to someone else right under our nose & didn't even have the decency to tell us, we guess he just strung us along in case things didn't proceed.
Unfortunately everything I've since heard about Jordan Ridout is totally true in my experience, and I would not touch this company with a barge pole. Shame on you.

Terrible service, rude and dishonest. They talk down to you like you don't know what you're talking about. The day before we were meant to move into the property it was delayed and just kept getting told different stories. When we were finally meant to move in, I asked for confirmation in writing which they refused to give me at first? Really bizarre. Definitely do not use, I'm certain there are better estate agents
