We recently arranged a viewing for one of JTM Homes properties. We received a viewing confirmation via email and travelled to the property during our lunch break. After waiting outside the property for some time we rang the estate agent only to be told that all the viewings had been cancelled. This was not communicated to us in any way despite them claiming we should have received a phone call and email. We had made sure to continuously check emails and phone calls beforehand.
The estate agent then tried to rectify the situation and said we could attend a viewing that evening. We were really interested in the property so we said yes, but made sure to ask for reassurance this viewing would actually go ahead and they responded it definitely would. Whilst travelling there for the second time in one day, and with one stop left on the tube before our destination, we received a voicemail stating all viewings had been cancelled again as a holding deposit for the property had been received.
There was a clear disregard for our time and a lack of organisation. I would be cautious when using JTM Homes.

We have used JTM Homes to rent our flat for years and have always found the entire office to be very helpful and competent! We feel that they know all their tenants and landlords by name which makes the experience in dealing with them personal for everyone involved. When we decided to sell our flat Jason was the obvious choice for the job and something we haven't regretted.
Now our dealings with JTM have come to an end and we want to thank them for being who they are and for doing what they do so well!

Booked a viewing with JTM homes to rent a flat. I turned down other viewings to attend. I left work early to attend. I rung the doorbell, as there was no estate agent outside the property, and the tenant told me they had cancelled all viewings. I checked my emails, just like I had before I had left work, to see an email sent only 30 minutes before the viewing, stating they had accepted a holding deposit and therefore would be cancelling all viewings. When I called the estate agent to ask why I had not been notified earlier, they informed me that they had accepted a holding deposit prior to my viewing. Hence the late notice.
Which I find difficult to swallow. That they had received offer (or offers), supplied them to the landlord, received an answer back from the landlord. Awarded the (now) new tenant acceptance of offer and how and where to pay the holding deposit. Notified the tenants whose offers hadn’t been lucky. And received a holding deposit. All without thinking of notifying the people whom which they had booked viewings for all afternoon!
Essentially, not only have I lost other viewings due to the tardiness of their notification system, but time from work. My disappointment was exasperated by the fact that when I did call as to why I had been notified with such late notice, and if they could provide me with further notice in the future, they informed me with that it wasn’t their fault, and no, they would not provide further notice in future. (With a sympathy oozing sarcasm which only served to rub salt in the wound). Unfortunately, it was their fault, and I would be a lot more understanding if they had in fact owned up to their mistake instead of rebutting it with defensive comments.
If you are considering viewing properties with this estate agent, be sure to keep a sharp eye on your email and phone, up to the minute you knock on the door for your viewing. As they may cancel with little regard to how it may affect you. Grow a thick skin to accept the rude rebuttals when you look for answers. Do not bother moving your personal schedule around to wait on them. And lastly, be wary of JTM false niceties…

The team at JTM have managed our property for 9 years. During that time we have had many issues that required in person review and resolution, this was difficult for us with the distance between us and the property. The team were there in person to sort out any problems whether it was building structure or tenant relations. The extra time they have put in and the sensitivity with which they handled certain relationships has been amazing. Particular thanks go to Priya, Ruby and Jason for their ‘going extra mile’ attitude. When we decided to sell up they found a buyer and facilitated the process all the way through to the flat clearance. We cannot recommend this company highly enough!

We rented an apartment for two years but faced a serious mouse problem. Even on the second floor, they found their way into our flat through the walls. The agency acted like it was no big deal, saying, "Well, you know, it's London." When we expressed our frustration, they told us we couldn't leave until our lease ended. We avoided using the kitchen and living room because mice were constantly running around.
Feeling trapped in a mouse-infested apartment, we considered losing our deposit to escape.
Priya from the agency refused to give us references for new accommodations, despite us finding a suitable place. In the end, we had to negotiate a way to leave, while the agency ignored our health and safety concerns.
I would give them one star, but I added another because they at least sent pest control, who confirmed the building was infested with mice.

Finding good estate agents in London can be quite the challenge, however, from the outset the JTM team were absolutely excellent - they were highly responsive, organised and knowledgable meaning that what is usually a stressful experience was made much easier.

We recently sold our one-bedroom flat on Caledonian Road with JTM and would strongly recommend them to other sellers and buyers.
JTM is a high-integrity organisation. Other agents we spoke to tried to get us to sign-up by offering unrealistic valuations or a higher initial pre-Rightmove price targeted at their buyer database. This didn't make sense to us. We liked that JTM led with a fair valuation and achieved this asking price for us. Their commission arrangement was also very straight forward and reasonable.
Once the sale was agreed the team worked tirelessly to keep both our and the buyers' solicitors on the right track and to smooth out the inevitable bumps in the road.
JTM is an agency that buyers and sellers alike can trust to treat them fairly and work hard for them.

Worst estate agents I’ve ever had to deal with, really rude to us about our wants and needs & never actually cared about our feelings. All they cared about was making a deal & clearly a profit. After asking to speak to their manager, who was apparently called Jason, he was very hostile & aggressive. Would not recommend

Prior to using JTM I had put my flat on the market with Foxtons and then Winkworth and was disappointed with their service and commitment to selling my home. Dear arrogant Jason. every client has different experiences most reviews here landlord as you keep them happy ,i had the worst experience with your agency,you never cleaned the house when we moved into the house is old and cheap work top and old paint , now you trying to scam us for our deposit.we left the house nice and clean better than was given to us at first and we have all videos and photos of it we didnt burn it or destroy any thing but youre not honest man. youve to be thankful we never missed a payment with covid times but no you still trying to scam us.i have tried to keep this professional but you like it your way always ,you and your agency are the worst and i have to let all tenants know: take lot photos and videos when you move in they will show you one face when you move in and different face when you move out liars the worst no honesty .

Very communicative, knowledgeable and thoroughly professional, she kept me in the loop at all times via phone and email. We had a great experience buying our first flat with JTM Homes. Amy was absolutely brilliant throughout the process, she is so knowledgeable and approachable and did a brilliant job of helping us throughout the process. JTM lied to us about the furniture which was included with the flat, refused to provide us with the proper items, and then refused to replace a completely unsuitable item of furniture so we had to do so at our own cost. When we turned up to the flat, which was listed as furnished, there was no mattress in one of the rooms and so we had to find alternative accommodation. They refused to replace a broken bed. During the process of trying to get them to replace an unsuitable item they were extremely rude, aggressive, and accusatory.

I cannot recommend the agents at JTM Homes strongly enough - they provide a professional but human service and were incredibly supportive throughout my purchasing journey. My solicitors went AWOL and Amy from JTM spent countless hours chasing them on my behalf, escalating the issue up the firm; and managing the expectations of the rest of the chain to keep them onside. I've been using JTM for over 10 years (2009-2020) as they were acting as letting / management agents of my preperty in Archway. Recently I have used JTM for selling my property. JTM always managed to find handyman or contractors at a reasonable price to fix timely any issue that could come at the property. As I moved abroad, I felt in confidence with their management while I was not able to visit often. For almost 20 years I have been a private individual landlord with a small portfolio. Over the years, I have ‘tried’ many estate agents to let and manage my properties.
I would recommend JTM Homes in Archway without hesitation.
They are professional, knowledgeable and manage all my properties extremely well. At first, I was nervous as they are a small single office business, so started them off with only one property. However, over the years, including navigating some very tricky situations with local councils, tenants non payment and new legislative compliance they have been excellent.
You may be able to get a few pounds extra on the top line rent by going with one of the ‘big’ named estate agents in their mini’s but be warned. They do not manage your properties like their own and the costs you will pay for their average at best management service do not outweigh the initial top line and cost you more in the long run. Tenants are often disgruntled with the service and leave / give you notice so you never build a relationship with the tenants. I had one tenant approach me direct and say that he loved the property but could not cope with the agents, slow and inept service, so I either change agents or they will leave.
Give them a call now, you will be pleased you did.

As a result, we retained them for the sales of flats in 2011, 2016 and 2018 as well as using their fully managed service for landlords. I cannot recommend Jason and his team highly enough. They kept me informed on a regular basis, be it for the sale of the flats or the day to day management of the rental property. We used JTM for the sale of our property and they were excellent. We had previously been with another agent for around 3-4 months and in that time we did not have 1 firm offer on the property. Within a few weeks of moving to JTM not only did we have an offer but we also had several interested parties. I happy to say that JTM Homes are indeed absolutely professional in every aspect of the letting and management of my house in Islington. Furthermore, they couldn't be better in responding quickly and courteously to any query I may have, and are similarly speedy in contacting me if there are any matters arising from the tenancy. No agency is perfect and they can't always get it right, but JTM are honest, genuine and reliable people. I rented with them for almost 3 years in Archway, close to Camden, and every single time I had a problem they were super helpful, particularly Katie and Ambra. They were both incredibly professional. I was never charged or treated unfairly. I would definitely use them again. I'm with JS Estates at the moment in Harrow and they are an absolute nightmare.
