I was impressed by Susan Tary as soon as I met her and she elicited a lot of confidence which was not misplaced.
The sale of my late father's house took about 3 months to complete from the date of the offer, which seemed longer than expected since only a chain of three parties was involved, but I understand that the bumps towards the end of the journey were largely out of KFH' s control.
However, to begin with, there were some issues with the marketing in that there were a few errors on their first two drafts of the details. Trying to use KFH's associated company to find a conveyancing solicitor was a rather underwhelming experience, also there was a mistake on the (simple) costing calculations which really should not have arisen. Thankfully, Susan was around to help and put us in contact with an appropriate firm as soon as I flagged these issues.
The conveyancing solicitors were ok in that they did the job and the price was competitive, though I would have appreciated some sort of personal contact such as a phone call from the partner before we formally instructed him.
The unexpected gem in the whole process was the firm of house clearance called ACE Rubbish, run by Freddie Jacobs who was personable and extremely helpful and supportive generally. He also put me in touch with a small local removals firm Mandys Movers whose owner Ben was similarly supportive. While I decided we did not need a removals firm on this occasion, Mandys will certainly be at the top of my list for my next move!
Call backs from both Susan and Deana her deputy were prompt and helpful. Towards the end of the journey when it looked to me for a short while that I should question whether the buyers might actually have sufficient funds for the purchase, I really appreciated the support from Deana based on her wide experience and somehow, the contracts were exchanged and sale completed. So, thank you!

We'd chosen a different agent at first, but were unhappy with their valuation, so decided to go with KFH instead who said they had buyers on their books they could call before our sale went 'live'. They called the next day and said there was a couple who wanted to view. The viewing took place the following day and an offer the day after. We have just exchanged contracts at the price we'd hoped for. Everything was very professional, very friendly and was not in any way a problem for KFH. Our opinion, don't look anywhere else.

Dealing with Deana at KFH Chislehurst was such an easy and stress free experience. We had our property up for sale for a year with another agent with no success but when we changed to KFH everything began to move quickly.
Deana took the lead on the search for a buyer which quickly led to a good number of viewings and ultimately the sale of the property. We were kept updated throughout the process which made it very straightforward at all times, Deana also recommended a Solicitor who did a fantastic job.

I have just bought my first home with KFH Chislehurst and cannot express how exceptional the service was. As a first-time buyer who has been actively looking for some time, I have had the opportunity to come across many agents in the last year, which has in some cases been very painful. I found much of the issues found with other agents stemmed from simply poor communication on the agent’s behalf that ended up infuriating me or the seller, which in some cases made me or the seller walk away from the property or sale, even-though the funds have always been there, simply based on service. I am not saying all the agents are the same but some of the experiences I have had could genuinely put you off buying a house altogether no matter what the price. I have to say the service I have received from KFH Chislehurst felt very personal from the various viewings all the way to completion. Communication has always been honest and open throughout the whole process; my calls and emails were always replied efficiently and nothing ever seemed to much trouble and they even accommodated many later than usual viewings prior to me even finding a place due to my work commitments. I like to give a special thankyou to Susan Tary and Kevin Bryne who both accommodated my viewings and have been genuine throughout the property purchase process. I also just like to add again, once Kevin got to know what I was looking for after a few viewings, everything he suggested for me to go and see was spot on what I was after, rather than just wasting my time and sending me to everything and anything which I found to be the case with the majority of other London Agents I have come across. The first meeting was with Deana Watkins, the Assistant Sales Manager, at the property. She had certainly done her homework before coming, was informative and knowledgeable. I dealt with Tariq and team at KFH in relation to a recent flat purchase. I found them to be professional and proactive at all times. Tariq was in regular contact to keep the process moving and to ensure that both sides were acting promptly. As a result, the sale process was efficient and we were able to exchange and complete in quite a short time scale. The process was made more challenging as the property had an existing tenant but the team were able to work around this to allow us adequate access and also to ensure (via Lettings team) that the flat was left in good condition - and in fact, some areas were follow up which were considered unsatisfactory. This was appreciated, as this could have fallen by the wayside once the tenant had exited. I would recommend the team at KFH Chislehurst for your sale process.

The house we were selling needed some care, attention and upgrading and there were many viewings undertaken over a long period of time. KFH (Vanessa, Charlene) were very understanding and responsive to our situation as this was not an easy sale on many fronts, and they kept us informed of the progress of visitors and the sale itself at all times, even when the legal side of the sale slowed down for whatever reason. Vanessa successfully got us to completion at a particularly stressful time due to everyone wanting to complete before the stamp duty holiday ended. My wife and I have bought our first house in Chislehurst. From the get go KF&H have been brilliant. The worst tenancy experience.They are quick to sell but afterwards they ignore you completely.
I felt the agency failed to to their job when me and my partner have asked to surrender the tenancy contract.The delay in response and again the failure to inform the landlord when tenancy ended, led to deposit dispute that could have been evoided if they would have done their job.
Disgraceful and disappointing is what I would describe the experience we had with this agency.
Definitely would not recommend them to anyone.

Susan from Chislehurst branch has been absolutely nightmare to deal throughout the process. On the day one when she called regarding vendors accepting our full price offer, she told me that she was not happy with their decision for picking us! On the same day she asked me to send her proof of my income, deposit, solicitor dealing with my sale and my I.D. As it was my day off from my NHS work (consultant), I took all requested documents to her within 2h as I sensed that something was not right. She was happy with my deposit and income but did not like my solicitor so asked me to change it as said would be a nightmare to deal with. On the next day I called my solicitor and told them that agency was not happy with them, so I paid their fees and found a local solicitor to make sure things went smoothly. On the same day Susan called Phil from Coady Phillips agency to confirm the sale of my house and was very rude towards him. I had to apologise to Phil as he has been very honest and reasonable throughout all the process.
Following this I spoke to Susan and asked her whether there was any urgency for vendors to complete or this could be done within 2-3 months as my wife was 8 months pregnant therefore ideal for us was to move 1-2 months after the baby arrived. She said that anytime before June was O.K, which was also the time that we agreed with our buyers to complete.
The next call I got from Susan was around 3 weeks after our offer, which was to check with my solicitor about the progress. She also called my solicitor after my call and was very rude towards him. On the same day my solicitor replied to Susan (KFH) and vendor’s solicitor requesting some additional usual info. On the following day while I was at work in hospital, I received a call from my 9 month pregnant wife crying saying that Susan called her shouting and being very rude, saying that the house was sold to another buyer (previous buyers that failed to complete) and they have already exchanged contracts. I have no idea what kind of deal Susan made with other buyers within 24h but there is no doubt that she qualifies to be labelled as “backstabber”. I am saying this as my wife spoke to vendors on the same day and they were informed differently.
I have no idea how this lady could sleep at night knowing that have upset my pregnant wife and kids, and that we have to leave our house within 1-2 months. We would never do the same to the family that are buying our house regardless of any offer or the possibility of us going on rent.
I would have been much happier to pay Susan double of what she received from the other buyers just not to put as in this position as clearly neither my wife or me (NHS job) are in position to deal with any additional stress for now. I have delt with a number of agencies in the past but clearly this is by far the worse agency that I came across or have heard therefore I will be avoiding them at any cost in future.

In my last 10 years as a property investor, this is the first time I have ever had a negotiator talk this rude to me and inappropriately disconnect my call before ending a conversation! From the way my viewing request was dealt with (calling my estate agents to cross check if the offer I got on my property was genuine (first time!)) and cancelling a viewing last minute because my offer on my property was 'under negotiation' was totally unprofessional and poor customer service. The viewing should not have been booked in the first place! Stop wasting people's time and please train your staff to be a bit more polite. Going with all the positive reviews you have on Google and the way I was poorly treated, I strongly feel your staff need further training to be 'unconsciously biased' to know how to deal with people of different ethnic background.

Had are really great experience, with Scott at Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward Agents in Chistlehurst. Scott was professional, honest and supportive. As a first time tenant, it was quite daunting for me. But felt comfortable with Scott who was always available and responsive to all my questions. My father called this place looking for book a house viewing and was victim to racial profiling. When a customer come to look at a house, questions such as 'can you afford this house' come across as rude and disrespectful. Questions such as, is the houses you're looking for within this price range or where are you currently living could be used to tailor the house hunting experience I understand, but can you afford this house?! Ridiculous. My father is a GP and pays his taxes, so to be ask such a question I think is highly unprofessional. If it weren't for the busy schedule around during this time of the year I'm sure he would have been more inclined to make a complaint. I however am disappointed, especially living in Chislehurst for over 15 years now. Susan should be more respectful in the future.

I still remember the day we walked into the KFH office when Kate Dickens welcomed us and noted down the requirements for our house purchase right before their office closed (which turned out to be the first week of her new job as an estate agent!), and the rest was history. Kate found us our dream home within a month and have been patient to show both me and my partner in separate occasions to meet our calendars.
In fact, she knows what my partner (of 5 years) wanted in a house more than I do, so hats off to her on that!

Once you step into this agent, your search is over. They are super professional and very caring at the same time. What I loved the most is the fact that they get very soon what you looking for and they will find the right place for you. Megan Hickey Senior Lettings Negotiator made it her personal business to find me somewhere that I loved.
She spent hours with me at viewings both morning and evening and was always happy to spend time with me answering questions and even measured walls with me.Once she found me the perfect home she was again happy to help me she even helped me to move furniture.She never treated it as a business transaction more of a personal mission and understood how fussy I am and catered to my needs every chance she could.She really put her heart into it and made the move a lot less stressful as I was moving quickly and was initially upset when I had notice on my previous flat.
Nothing is too much trouble to her and she is a credit to the company.

She understands the balance of calling me and emailing me without bombarding me like your average agent. I have always had exceptional service but my latest experience has just been incredible. Our agent Sam Ullah was excellent. We must have met him every weekend for about 3 months to view new properties, and view some again on many occasions. Tara Leon was our agent at KFH .. after meeting us (my wife and I) and showing us the first property on our list, she immediately took us to a second property who she assured us we'd love .. guess what, WE LOVED IT ! With our property, we've been given an opportunity to view it very early (even before an advert was put online) which finally resulted in an accepted offer after 7 months of being on the market. So the experience of working with KFH itself was good. However, the solicitors recommended by the agency (Beverley Morris & Co) were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and UNBELIEVABLY slow. Following that advice was a mistake.

**Stands out from the local crowd of Estate Agents**. There are a number of seemingly credible competition in and around Chislehurst when it comes to buying/selling your house but KFH (and Laura Watson specifically) were / are the most thorough and impressive. Despite having some bad luck and being fairly fussy, Laura stuck with us and actually went out of her way to help us find the right property. The ONLY agent to proactively find us options rather than just "look on the books" which is rare in such a sellers market. Listened and understood why we wanted what we wanted and helped us find that very house. Now moved and very happy! A great experience from start to finish.

We went on the market with KFH after a frankly disastrous period tied in with another countrywide estate agent. KFH sold our house - for the full asking price within a week. We have just exchanged after a long, frustrating few months. Our exchange did not run smoothly - the 'chain' although short was full of problems and delays. The only thing that kept us sane was the friendliness, efficiency and professionalism of our KFH agent, Laetitia, who worked tirelessly on our behalf. She kept us up to date with developments through sometimes daily calls and liaised with the rest of the chain regularly. I can't rate her service highly enough.
