If there were 6 stars that's what I'd give this place! A really gorgeous hotel in the best location you could wish for in London. The hotel itself is cosy but not small, the rooms are really beautiful and great care has been taken to ensure they are really comfortable and clean. Two night stay in this gem of a hotel. Amazing staff, nothing too much trouble. A warm welcome, (dzi?kuj? bardzo Johanna) a small but clean and comfortable room. Sweet and friendly house keeping, with thanks! Loved the shower especially. Breakfast in the Buttery garden was delightful. So much hard work gone into creating a beautiful space to chill. What a wonderful spot! The hotel has an amazing secluded garden - the perfect place for a relaxing lunch, afternoon tea or an aperitif to enjoy the beautiful weather we've been having in London. Even though my room is tiny (9 square meters, single bed) I kind of like it. It's cozy and very clean. Relatively quiet, good breakfast and friendly staff. There's a cold draft coming from the window and the bed is right underneath it which is far from ideal, and shouldn't be the case considering the place isn't exactly cheap. Even just a heavier curtain that doesn't let all the air through would help.... Read more

We just checked in today. After a rough long flight, and having trouble getting my cell phone to work, my mom and I were exhausted. We got here and didn’t realize check in wasn’t until two. I asked if they could let us check in earlier and they were SO accommodating. They got the room ready so fast and it was clean and lovely when we settled. Such friendly staff here, I think they could tell we were exhausted and having trouble. Great location as well, walking distance to great attractions.... Read more

This was nearly ten years ago, the last time. We’ve stayed three times, altogether. What a wonderful place. The first time in the 90s, the host family were so insulting to us,we were quite taken aback. We had a nice room. The man asked if we were on our honeymoon and why we didn’t pick another place to stay. Al, their man who worked there, more than made up for their rudeness. They came into our room without knocking the third time we stayed there. I was sick. When I asked for non dairy oatmeal, the host lady screamed in front of an entire room of people, Would I stay there again? Yes... I’m thick skinned and loved the place and location. The second time, I came with five friends. The host family was away. Their daughter was lovely. I think they were just burned out. Trying to have compassion... Read more

Excellent, Classy Bed n breakfsst i ever had????. Rooms are amazingly comfortable, bed super nice. Got upgraded( Thank you ladies). Breakfast is the best part, got warm welcome, nice hot pot of tea and full english breakfast with many other options too. We stayed here in mid July. Our room was on the top floor and very warm. This hotel does not have air conditioning but they did provide a fan. we were never able to cool the room down. The hotel does not have a lift so if you stay on the upper floors it can be a challenge to get your luggage up the stairs. The bathroom was very small, this is typical of many European hotels but the Water pressure in the shower was very weak. Breakfast was good. I recommend picking another hotel during the summer months due to the lack of air conditioning.... Read more

Not a bad little b and b in central London. Cost of stay £185.00 per night for twin room with 2 breakfasts. Rooms clean, basic and adequate. Shower and widescreen tv in mine. Quaint dining room and quality breakfast offering most things you would expect.... Read more

There is no AC or lift, but otherwise this hotel is an awesome value in an incredibly upscale and quiet area. It is extremely convenient to Victoria station, Buckingham Palace and makes it easy to get most anywhere in central London. ... Read more

It's located pretty centrally near the Victoria rail station. People are nice and everything is great but I am not going to lie. If you are used to staying at 5 star accommodations, this will feel a bit old fashioned especially given the price range although that is pretty typical in London. But having travelled Europe before, this isn't too unusual. Rooms are small, washroom is a little lacking, but for an overnight lodging to take a look at London, I absolutely recommend it since breakfast comes included.... Read more
