30th Jun 2023 (3 years ago)I have lived in London for 5 years, in 4 different flats for the first 3, and in a flat managed by Proprium for the last 2. One might think that whoever manages your accommodation does not really matter — if so, think again. The first 4 agents I have dealt with have been very difficult and unaccommodating; let’s not get into specifics. Proprium on the other hand have been so helpful as soon as any issue has arisen, and it is a pleasure meeting them all in the staircase every day. Not sure if related to Proprium in any way, but it is as if everyone in the building are friends or part of a little community — never have I ever seen such a nice neighbour situation in London. Should I ever be unfortunate enough to have to move from the current flat, I would specifically call Proprium to see if they have anything available, before even checking Rightmove / Zoopla.
16th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)Just want to say that James Pearce was amazing in letting our maisonette in Chelsea. We had experienced an awful tenant before but James selected a perfect tenant for us out of 4 or 5 prospective tenants this time around. Thanks.

In particular we were incredibly impressed by the service we received from David Mendel and Simon Hardie who went above and beyond to ensure we our property sold at a great price!

28th Jul 2022 (3 years ago)Very sadly, I entrusted Michael Bennett of BestGapp with the letting of my property. A security key was given to an un-Named tenant whose background had never been properly checked, and who appears to have lived at my property in addition to the Named tenant. I discovered my property was seriously dilapidated after only 3mths when I initiated the Q1 inspection that Michael had failed to. After refusing to either act in or represent my interests at all, I was obliged to fire BestGapp. Tenant left, but - yet again in breach of the AST and apparently on the advice of Michael - failed to professionally clean the property, having also taken belongings of the property. BestGapp have held a lien over the deposit that I paid them to register at the DPS against my property and have refused to allow the DPS to adjudicate, which I believe to be illegal (criminal). A hugely stressful, distressing and time-consuming experience that BestGapp have ensured through their adversarial conduct cannot be resolved amicably. The damage to my property exceeds the net rent achieved by BestGapp by a factor of 2-3x. Unregulated (until proven otherwise) Cowboys! Myself and my property were placed at virtually unlimited Risk through my misplaced Trust in BestGapp. I am also pending an explanation of why I was billed a rate >30% higher than that charged by the high-end cleaners used by The Grosvenor Estate for the pre-check-In Cleaning of my property by a small firm I had never heard of, especially when my property had been left in immaculate (mostly brand new) condition in the first place. In this context, highly suspicious!!
9th Jun 2026 (26 days ago)I was dealing with vanesa tonova and I placed an offer for an apartment and she told me she sent it to the owner but she did not and lied. I chased her to find out whats going on and sent numerous messages/emails only to be ignored. Not only this but she also had a very bad attitude with me for no reason. Very unprofessional. In the end I did it through another agency but very unprofessional.
12th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)Not happy at ALL , SAVILLS ARE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT SELLING A VALUABLE ASSET AT ANY PRICE TO GUARANTEE A COMMISSION . THIS SEEMS COMMON TO MOST SALARIED AGENTS IN 2023, CONSTANTLY CITING NEGATIVE MARKET CONDITIONS INSTEAD OF WORKING HARDER FOR THEIR CLIENTS .

28th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I can't praise Garton Jones Estate Agents (Chelsea & Belgravia) highly enough. They have helped me with the letting of my ex partners flat after her sudden passing in 2024. They have been exceptional going above and beyond anything I expected at this difficult time. They have now just organised the sale of the property and have dealt with everything they possibly could in a professional and timely manner to ensure the smooth sale. Particular thanks Ruth Osatch, thanks for everything Ruth, you're a legend.
