Just to add to this, i have had to call or email becky on several occasions about various things, she is awesome. Me and my wife never knew her before lucas lettings and i am just annoyed that we didnt use lucas and Rebecca before. Nothing is too much for the team, especially Rebecca. They may be ok for buyers and sellers however as a tenant i found them to be patronising and condasending.
i took out a short term tenancy and hardly used the property in the few months that i lived there. I kept the property in immaculate condition and thoroughly cleaned it before leaving however they still deducted £100 pounds for cleaning from my deposit .Tenants beware as i suspect this is their policy and you will get no redress.

Benjamin sold our house within 4 days!! The photo’s and presentation of our property was first class. We had 4 viewings in the first weekend! We cannot recommend Benjamin highly enough. You will not find a more committed EA for miles. We have moved house a few times now and we have never experienced a more knowledgeable, professional and dedicated EA. At times he was more like a solicitor who was acting for us. He stayed in contact and provided regular updates. Benjamin always replied to text messages and emails. He is kind and caring as well as being an incredible person. He worked his socks off from beginning to end. They definitely threw away the mold when Benjamin came along! ????????????????????

We have been renting with Lucas lettings for the last 3 years and have just stopped renting with them last month. Have never had an issue before these last few months but I feel their communication is awful. I asked to be updated on a situation we had with a leak in the property which took them weeks to get back to us. I have also had to dispute the amount of deposit we are getting back as have been accused of not cleaning the property at all (which is not the case) but the customer service when I questioned these comments over email, was again quite appalling. It took them 2 weeks to get back to my emails as they did not check their junk box to which they replied to me “sorry but I don’t know what else you want me to do”. I felt the member of staff was very argumentative and not understanding/sympathetic in any way. I am leaving these comments not in spite but in hope they will take my comments into consideration.

We sold our house through Lucas estate agents. Our estate agent was Benjamin, who was fantastic throughout the whole process. It started with a friendly introduction, followed by a professional video and posting of our property. The property had viewings within a few days and sold within 2 weeks in a slow market. Unlike other estate agents we’ve used in the past that wasn’t the end of the service post sale. Ben stayed in contact all the way through to moving day. A creative solution that we both liked from Ben was to set up a what’s app group, this gave us a direct line for any questions or issues throughout the process. It also gave our buyers the same luxury. We were unlucky in the sense that our purchase fell through once and we had find another property to purchase. The what’s app group served well here as we were all able to effectively communicate and Ben was able to keep everyone in the loop updated.
It was a first class service and I would highly recommend Lucas and Benjamin.

We had the pleasure of working with Benjamin recently. We met with many people who we just didn't quite feel comfortable with. When we met Benjamin we just sat and chatted. From the very start it was clear that Benjamin was very knowledgeable about the local market. He named properties (not necessarily on his books) that we were directly in competition with, and therefore marketing our property to give us the competitive edge. As the market changed he advised us on adjusting the price to enable us to sell.
His communication was excellent at all times. He was sensitive, timely, understanding and always on the ball. I always felt well informed and advised.

Terrible company, When asked about pets (i.e. cat) was told that was fine, then when we put application in was told then it was £25 extra a month!!, Also guarantor rates are ridiculous, need to be earning just short ok 30k for £750 month for an outdated bungalow??!!

Buyers and sellers beware. I booked a viewing stating I was travelling from Manchester and stressed they must advise if property sold as I was travelling a long way. On the morning of the viewing I rang them as I had heard nothing . They hadn't even booked my viewing in so I had a wasted journey. Despite my recall of conversation with agent who booked my viewing they kept going in about their fail proof greenlight system -it failed miserably. The property was sold I had travelled a long way for nothing . Absolutely useless go somewhere else , sellers they not even booking viewings properly and buyers obviously mean nothing !

Hi, Been dealing with the Lucas team for many years now and never had an issue, bought through them and all was handled professionally and with extreme efficiency, sold Mum's house with them and you should have seen the presentation and photography, that sold that house for sure and what a pleasant experience. Now using their letting service and everything works very well, excellent maintenance service at very good rates and that gives a happy & landlord; very well done to all the team. These guys are fantastic! Mainly we dealt with Henry and Josh, who was a legend throughout the purchase of one of their properties.
No question or request was too much and they kept in touch throughout the whole process. Even accommodating several viewings (to get all of those measurements), where they attended too.
After sale service has been fab too, a lovely ‘new home’ card and a follow up call a couple of weeks after we moved in to check all is ok.

Over the last 15 years I have used several letting agents in Kettering to find tenants for my rental property. Lucas Lettings are, by far, the best. Everyone I dealt with in the office was very friendly, helpful, professional and customer service orientated. They worked very hard to secure a suitable tenant that met my requirements (e.g. non-smoker, no pets) and never once tried to encourage me to settle for less. They always kept me updated regarding potential tenants' upcoming viewings and their subsequent feedback. I would highly recommend Lucas Lettings.

I have been in this awesome flat for over 3 years now and love it to bits. A converted factory (1865) which reminds me everyday of its fabulous industrial heritage. One of Doc Martens at one point. I can't recommend Lucas estate agents highly enough. I found them very friendly, honest and professional making the the process as pain free as possible. my reason for 2 stars is that me and my partner were asked to leave a property for something that happened when we wast in the country, when it came to our deposit after painting the walls and spending at least too days cleaning they still took money (£90) for a clean. we felt we were blamed for things that weret us and we lost a lot of money moving to a new place because of this. nice to your face until they get your money be warned!
