It was on the market for quite a long time and due to staff moving branches I got passed to several different people over that time. Pre-sale the service was fine, but the estate agents two sales progressors were excellent in keeping me informed and 'sane' while dealing with a difficult chain.

Approachable from first enquiry and subsequent enquiries. Had a good number of viewings but advertised at time when investors stopped buying and interest rates started rising so selling in a difficult market. Adjusted asking price and offers received. At the moment still sold subject to contract.

A friend who is active in the mortgage market in Sussex said she thought Mansell McTaggart were pretty good. They were one of 4 agents I contacted and I was very impressed when Jake came to visit. He was the most optimistic on price and indeed was proved right. The open-day was arranged quickly with several offers made. I would be wary of using MM's solicitors (all very online) but I was completely free to use my own without any penalty. The property did down-value however MM quickly negotiated a new and fair price. There were some hold ups on the purchaser's side so I'm sure Mansell McTaggart and my own solicitor were fed up with my daily chase-ups however we did get completion through at a pretty good speed. They also gave us a nice Completion box as a present.
