Brad went above and beyond from when we met him at the first house viewing to regular texts answering queries we had, to the negotiations and finally the purchase of our house. Once the sale had been agreed he kept us sane while delay after delay by solicitors and other people in the link changed dates, eventually joining in the excitement when we finally got the sale over the line. We would highly recommend Brad and his services. His great experience in the market and local area really helped us, and he was always available to talk whenever a question or problem arose. Our property was marketed very well, the pictures made it looks it’s best and viewings were arranged with our availability in mind to keep all parties content. We also received feedback from all viewings which helped us gauge the interest.

I am 59 years old and this was my 8th and final house move. Indubitably, both as a homeowner and executor, I have had my fair share of dealings with estate agents with a modus operandi involving merciless and inconsiderate ways, only wishing to acquire their commission, to those who were more refined and conveyed high standards of professionalism.
Well, I can say categorically, without an ounce of doubt in my mind, that Brad Hansford, Director of Meyers Estate Agents in Shaftesbury, is the best estate agent I have come across in over 40 years of buying and selling houses. He is a very dynamic person and completed the purchase of the 4-bedroom bungalow in Shaftesbury with such gusto that it actually became pleasurable at a time of considerable stress. Brad is punctilious, pays attention to critical details, and he deals with exigent duties in a timely manner. When I needed confirmation or queries answered, he was the first to state the reality of the matters at hand, and solved issues quickly. Invariably, the quality of communication was excellent. Right from the onset, from advising about the bungalow to be purchased and the area, he was to the point and spoke objectively. It was crystal clear that he had considerable knowledge, expertise, and experience. There was no hard-selling, he just listened, allayed concerns, and gave reassurance without conflict of interest. Above all, I can say that Brad sold the bungalow in approximately 9 days, and he was the driving force creating momentum for the sale. What's incredulous is that he was the estate agent for the couple from whom I was buying the bungalow. So, bottom line, if you want an estate agent with Integrity, the skills to sell your house quickly, and a moral compass that allows you to respect a person for who they are, then Brad Hansford is your man.

Brad Hansford at Meyers Shaftesbury has been absolutely fantastic! A real professional with a proper work ethic, and also employs a truly excellent photographer, not some bloke who comes in and just points and shoots. We’d used two different ‘traditional’ estate agents and had two sales fall through. Woefully witless, and seemingly stupid. The lack of attention to detail, general indifference and frankly - dishonesty - from them was most unprofessional. We decided to change tack and went with Brad, it was like night and day! We got instant feedback at the end of every viewing as well as information about viewres. He chased up the solicitors and estate agents of our buyers and the others in the chain so we were kept fully informed at every step, without us having to chase or chivvy for a scrap of information.
Went on the market in April, got an offer at the asking price within a fortnight, and have completed today. In this market- I think that’s one heck of a good result. We genuinely think Brad made all the difference and we’d wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who actually wants to sell with a professional, who takes the job seriously.

We have just bought our home through Meyers in Shaftesbury. I know most reviews for estate agents are from sellers, however, I am rating them as a buyer and with good reason. You will know as a buyer it is time-consuming sifting through house details to find matches and we certainly wasted a lot of time and effort attending viewings for properties that clearly were not right for us, with people who did not know much about the specific property or properties in general or listen to different buyers needs. Viewing with Brad from Meyers was an altogether different and incredibly helpful and it felt like an individual experience. He let us spend the time we needed to view and dealt with our needs for viewing and all our questions. When he didn't have an answer he said he'd find out and got back to us immediately. Even after offer and acceptance, Brad kept in touch and helped to iron out issues quickly that solicitors were taking 3 weeks to send an email about. He kindly organised keys at a time and place convenient to us and was the first to inform us that we had completed! He was brilliant to deal with, always available to message and we felt that he valued our custom. I am not expecting to move soon but should we or any family or friends need an estate agent in the area to buy or to sell, I will be recommending Brad at Meyers in Shaftesbury.

Its pretty much impossible to be able to sufficiently thank Brad at Meyers in Shaftesbury for his efforts and support in the recent selling of my home. I needed a local agent to work with my mum and I as we needed to sell her home due to her needing lifelong care. Brad from Meyers not only visited mum, but made a special trip to come and meet me too when I visited from Bristol as he didn’t just want to be a faceless voice at the end of the phone. That’s when I knew I’d chosen well for mum. I was managing things for her and he kept me up to date and chased the buyer when needed.

If I could give 6 stars, I would.
I have had many dealings with estate agents over many years and have in the past been underwhelmed by the level of service. However, Brad Hansford is an estate agent who has blown that perception out of the window. The service level from day 1 has been fantastic; great communicator, problem solver, personal approach to his customers, high level of understanding his customer....
And the selling and buying was managed professionally, although we had some delays that Brad couldn't have foreseen.
If only the house buying / conveyancing process in the UK would be improved!!

I’m not normally given to writing any sort of online reviews or recommendations, but once in a while something or somebody goes the proverbial extra mile on your behalf, and it’s the right thing to do. Brad Hansford at Meyers Estate Agents in Shaftsbury is one such individual deserving of such recognition.
It’s well chronicled that buying a new home is – or certainly can be – one of the most stressful things in life, especially in the turbulent economic times of the present day.
Highly personable, professional and knowledgeable, Brad helped make what could so easily have been a potentially challenging process, run without a hitch.
He was proactive in keeping me informed of each and every development throughout the purchase and, I’d say he went the proverbial extra mile on my behalf.
