Ben and Jane in particular could not be faulted in their professionalism and knowledge, but all the while retaining their friendly cheerfulness which kept us at our ease while possibly causing them to pull their hair out at some new problem.

We chose Michael Hardy in Crowthorne to sell our property and in difficult market conditions we finally managed to sell our house. The service we received from all the team at Michael Hardy was first class.
Every step along the way, we felt as if we were in good hands. After a comprehensive market valuation with Ben Biggs, excellent photos were taken, and house particulars were designed which we were very happy with. All viewings were arranged and confirmed by phone, email and text and feedback always followed, as well as regular review calls. Every member of the team: Ben, Jane, Daragh and Kirstie carried out viewings and all of them ensured they were familiar with the property and could advise potential buyers accordingly.
Once we had found a buyer, Jane Down, the Sales Progressor guided us through the next stage, advising us along the way. Despite several hurdles we had to get through before exchanging, she kept us, and our purchasers updated the whole way through ensuring we were part of all the negotiations needed.

We cannot praise Michael Hardy Estate Agents Crowthorne office enough. The sales team - Ben, Daragh and Kirstie, pulled out all stops and arranged 10 viewings when our home was first launched onto the internet. They brokered serval over asking price offers.
Regretfully our buyer later backed out, BUT the very same day, they sourced new buyers, as they knew their client database so well.
Jane, the Sales Progressor, has been beyond outstanding! Super-efficient and totally tenacious in the face of unhelpful, slow, inefficient solicitors, she has persevered and with the rest of the team, we have finally achieved Exchange. Her sympathy and understanding, have also been much appreciated.
We cannot recommend them highly enough if you are thinking of Selling.
Whilst the advertising, arranging viewings and taking offers is not easy, and they did this so well, it’s also about getting those offers to legally Exchange. They have consistently delivered an excellent service throughout this very long drawn-out process, (delays not down to them at all) and their high standards have not always been evidenced by everyone else in our chain.
They really do deserve every penny of their fee.

We were delighted with the excellent service provided by Michael Hardy estate agents in selling our house, in what was a challenging market at the end of 2023. The marketing was spot on, and Ben relatively quickly secured a very good offer. When unfortunately this offer fell through due to other buyers at the bottom of the chain pulling out, he quickly secured a second satisfactory offer, which we accepted. He remained positive but realistic throughout, and kept us up to date at all times.
Jane then very efficiently and successfully saw the sale through to completion, was ever dynamic and positive, and managed all interactions with great tact and patience! She kept us regularly up to date about progress.

Be very careful with this agent. Allow people viewing the property to be left unattended. They left our property in an unsafe condition when we returned from holiday. Applied undue pressure and think it’s acceptable. If you raise a concern they become incredibly defensive and aggressive. Exactly the actions that happen when people have something to hide.

We had great advice from the off from Terry (now moved to the Wokingham office) who also gave us a competitive quote compared to other local estate agents. We were able to sell our house in a reasonable timeframe and thankfully had very patient buyers who stuck with us through our 5 month search. He was always very friendly, positive, patient and helpful. Ian was forthcoming with his assistance and successfully problem solved a few issues that cropped up along the path promptly and to great effect.
