I cannot recommend Mile Estates enough. Truly the best estate agents I have ever worked with. We had some hurdles with Rightmove referencing which was down to me, but Raniya and Zackary went above and BEYOND to ensure they were resolved and really fought my corner to ensure I secured the flat. I was also on an extremely tight turn around with leaving my previous place and these guys kept me so reassured through the entire process and made it happen within just over a week. They are some of the kindest & most professional agents I have come across which can be pretty rare in London. I have already recommended them to tons of people who are flat hunting. Mile were amazing! We worked with Zac who was incredibly friendly, extremely responsive and dealt with our offer at speed which was massively appreciated as we were trying to move and settle in with a toddler before Christmas! All our issues were addressed without problem, would definitely recommend Mile as had worked with many estate agents in Kensal Rise (we saw 12 properties before making an offer with Mile) and some of those other estate agents were quite rude and disregarding so working with Zac and Mile was a breath of fresh air!

I appreciate the very friendly and professional customer service. The quick contact and efficient, helpful agents make the process of searching for and renting an apartment a pleasure. It was even better later – the apartment I chose was very clean and even painted before moving in, so I felt comfortable.
When picking up the keys at the Colindale office, I met the people who were so wonderful at guiding me through the entire rental process, coordinated by Raniya. Even though I had a new apartment waiting for me, I spent almost half an hour with them because they were so kind and I wanted to soak up the warm, friendly atmosphere.

Managing the sale of the vacant flat above us. An alarm was going off in that property for over 24 hours non stop for the second week in a row and despite three desperate calls to them as the owners upstairs were unresponsive, they were really rude to us on the phone after we asked for their help by coming to simply take the battery out of the alarm despite being 2 minutes down the road - claimed they no longer had a key despite being here a couple of days ago (this was a lie), no way of contacting the owners(?) or buyers(?) or literally anyone else who might potentially have a key. We explained that we can’t sleep or escape the noise and I am pregnant meaning I am stuck working at home - in slight disbelief at how unhelpful they were. I hung up after they laughed at me and said ‘just call the fire brigade’?
Edit to add that the owner finally resolved this, and told us that Mile Estates did have a key and they had also asked them if they could just come and take the battery out. Really bizarre and unfortunately confirming all the negative tropes about Estate Agencies especially their disingenuous response below which wasn’t at all how our conversations went.

Where do I start…our wonderous property industry is plagued with many Estate Agents that have “fallen” into it, these people have no passion, interest or knowledge of anything relating to property and are most of the time just out of school, this does not occur within Mile Estates. The knowledge and passion is almost breathtaking as soon as you speak to them especially Kyle. They love what they do and it shows.
I have worked with these guys now for 2 years and a question was asked in my office the other day; which of your clients would you work for if you didn’t work where you do, I named Mile Estates which quite sums up their infectious nature.
They will go to the ends of the earth to make sure their client is happy and treated correctly.
I would not hesitate, not for a second in recommending these wonderful guys, they are going to grow and grow so either jump on the train or choose an agent that will not be able to sell/let your property then give it to Mile for a higher fee ????

How can an estate agents be so incompetent? I travelled an hour to get to my viewing at 10:30, arriving 5 minutes early, the person who’s supposed to show me the property is 30 minutes late coming from an office only 5 minutes away. I was not informed at any point by the agent that he was going to be this late, I had to call Mile Estates myself to find out what was going on. To top it all off, when he finally arrives, it turns out that we can’t even access the property because the tenants are out and the agent doesn’t have the right keys.
So I wasted 2 and a half hours of my day travelling and waiting for a viewing that could never have happened anyway because the estate agents don’t have keys for the property. I repeat: how can you be so incompetent?

I was a tenant for 6 months in a flat managed by Mile Estates. During that time there were several maintenance issues that were never really addressed, for example cracked kitchen tiles and a leaking shower. If you need any information or need something fixed it turns into an endless mission trying to chase things up with them, they don't reply to emails.
Regarding the poor maintenance, Mile Estates insists it's not their fault but blames the landlord instead. Some basic digging shows that actually the landlord and the agency have the same director, so maybe they are closer than they would have you believe.
If you rent a property from them you'll be pulling your hair out trying to get things fixed.
If you let a property through them you'll be paying them a finder’s fee every 6 months.

We rented a house from Mile and while the experience started off as friendly, we experienced extremely unprofessional behaviour as the process continued. On phone calls, I could hear colleagues in the background making rude remarks about me and my responses. When we moved in and needed the keys Mile still had, they didn’t provide us with the correct keys and lied to say the previous tenants must have changed the locks. The agency also made it sound to me like our new landlord was a nightmare which is the exact opposite and I’m so relieved to be dealing with my landlord directly!
Overall, very poor communication and behaviour (saying they’ll be sending something that never arrives, first contract had incomplete sentences, as further examples). I wouldn’t recommend this agency.

As a buyer, working with Kyle was great. He must have spent half of his waking day just answering my constant emails/calls regarding the property! He worked effectively liaising between me and the seller; making the transition as smooth as possible.
He was also very accommodating; allowing me to view the property whilst battling through Covid restrictions with ease.

Superb estate agents!! Charlie was absolutely amazing in every step of the way, and went above and beyond to help me! Super lovely! I can honestly say that this is the best rental experience I have ever had in London. From the viewing all the way until moving in, Charlie made sure that everything went super smooth, did everything he could to help and he overall made this process really positive and human! Kyle was fantastic and extremely helpful, he went above and beyond to add humour and calm the nerves throughout the whole process. He was five star ?? Just extremely personable and professional, got the job done, but with a smile and a few jokes put in for good measure. I would definitely recommend using Mile Estate, if you are selling your house or looking to buy in the local area.

I’m something of a loss with Mile. I spoke to Kyle on Thursday and we agreed an appointment for him to do a valuation of our 3 bed semi detached house situated in the neighbouring area. At the end of the call I asked him to email me confirmation for the appointment, no email received.
On the day of the appointment, I tried calling the office ahead of the appointment to confirm - no answer. I bet you can guess where this is going....I arrived at the property for the appointment and waited 40mins, Kyle never turned up! No confirmation email, not answering customer calls, not turning up to the appointment - is this how you treat customers? Totally unacceptable and very inconsiderate of other people’s time!!
A bit of advice to other vendors looking for a reliable professional agent - DO NOT GO WITH MILE!

We were recommended to Mile by our friends who live in Los Angeles, they’ve been using them to let their Kensal Rise property for years. As we’re in LA too, it was important to us to have a good company that would fully manage our home for us - that we could trust, that would be available despite the eight hour time difference.
Marius the director of Kensal Rise, Mile and Silvana exceeded our expectations. We had their mobile phone numbers and they’d FaceTime us to talk about any issues. They are friendly, professional and a joy to work with, finding us great new tenants and dealing with any issues promptly when they came up.
Silvana is a fair but firm tenant liaison, managing any repair or tenant requests that arise. Skillfully finding solutions, whether it be plumbers, electricians or sourcing a new fridge/freezer. Always checking the price with us and giving us options.
We can’t thank Marius Ruff and Michael Connelly enough for finding the lovely family that are taking care of and enjoying living in our house and making it a home for a few years.
This is a great team of people who are stalwarts and will go above and beyond to take care of your home. I’m glad I took my friend’s recommendation.

Whatever praise I give Kyle, it won't be enough to describe the level of service he provided to help us navigate the tricky sale of our property. Kyle went above and behind what was required of him. He kept us up to speed throughout the whole process and, where necessary, was available to help us cut through the key issues directly. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I would give them no stars if I could. Completely unprofessional. Fabian Bachelor their agent, sent my partner the agency's address instead of the flat's and two different time slots, 1pm over email and 12pm over text. When asked to confirm, he said to ignore 12.
At 5 to 12pm, my partner gets a very curt and rude call asking where we are! We offer to meet him in 30 minutes. After 20 minutes he calls again complaining he's been waiting for 25 minutes and he can't wait any longer and hangs up on my partner!
Dodgy, rude, confusing, entitled! So glad we didn't get to see the flat!

Mile were outstanding at selling our house. In their approach and professionalism they totally trumped the other estate agents in the area that we spoke to. Their local knowledge was invaluable and their advice was spot on. They priced our house accurately, they were enthusiastic and positive throughout - despite the Brexit uncertainty - and were always on hand to answer any questions we had. They sold our house within weeks and the communication throughout was excellent.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kyle at Mile Estate agents to anyone - he was a pleasure to deal with and got the job done!

I cannot recommend them highly enough. Kyle has been brilliant. I've experienced many estate agents over the years - and Kyle is the only one to bring a sense of humanity to the process. He cares about the journey you are on, knowing it is a stressful process, and does all he can to make it as smooth as possible. He connects the right people up, and spends time creating relationships so he can match the right vendors and purchasers together. You cannot beat that knowledge of the community and the local area. We spoke to about 12 estate agents in Kensal Rise and Queens Park and decided on Mile after a thorough investigation of our options. We had dealt with Kay previously when we were buying and although we didn't buy through Mile we remembered them principally because of their excellent staff.
Kay and Kyle are very approachable, friendly, and have excellent knowledge. Kyle has done an excellent job managing our sale, his communications have always been prompt and clear, and the advice he has offered has made our sale go through with a minimum of stress.
We are delighted to have used Mile Estates and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a hard working reputable estate agency.

I recently sold my flat on Wrottesley Road through Mile and would recommend them above any of the other Kensal Green/Rise Estate Agents. In this case a small team is a good thing - Kay and Kyle are always there to advise and help out - the work they put in was far more than Cameron Stiff or Winkworth who I previosly tried. The commission is only 1% compared to the 2 or 2.5% of other agents also.

Is it because you didn't like the look of my fact, that when I came got a viewing you didn't even bother going through the front door with me to show me around. Treat customers like people, not numbers. A joke of a agent. We made a offer to buy and then find out the agent has taken a backhander from another buyer and gone with a lower offer not in the clients interest!
I would avoid these crooks!

I've really tried to be patient with Mile Estates. But it's been eight weeks since I've moved in and I've had so many issues crop up. They messed up furniture measurements three times and delivered stools that were higher than the table. Three times. They say they have contractors but will take over a week for an issue to be looked at and you will have to keep chasing them (i.e. I've had a blocked toilet and a very poor flush this entire time). I simply don't feel valued at all - I've never come across such bad service in all five other spaces I've rented in London (granted, the others were mostly private landlords - but I didn't have to pay them a £400 signing fee either and issues were resolved much quicker). Perhaps they're currently short-staffed or that agents chase new customers for commission purposes with the nature of their job, but I'd recommend not rushing into a contract with them.
