Positives: friendly, efficient, reasonable fee, communication during the process was clear and helpful.
Negative: I felt a bit pestered after my initial enquiry, with almost weekly enquiries as to whether I was going to progress with the sale. I still instructed them though due to their local link.
In addition to obtaining their valuation it's worth doing your own local research on house values without being greedy and unrealistic as the estate agents may have different priorities to you.

The staff have been very professional and attentive to my needs when selling my home recently. I highly recommend their honesty and speed of service delivery in order to facilitate a speedy transfer of ownership

The estate agent himself was good as found a buyer straight away, but we felt they were very close to the buyer (an investor) and that they were looking after the buyers' interest more than ours. Overall, they still achieved what a previous competitor had not, so that is a good. Oakhill were appointed towards the end of May and the sale was completed early September - so just over 3 months.
