I cannot recommend Steve highly enough. He and his team put in a huge amount of time, effort, and dedication to help sell my house. Full marks to Steve at Open House. We decided to Market our house. Steve visited and gave us advice regarding the value of our house. He was friendly and informative. We were not put under any pressure to go to market. We marketed the property at a fixed fee. Steve came and took excellent photos and we had interest immediately and sold within a week. Steve always responded to communication promptly. Sadly we were near to completion when our buyer pulled out due to personal reasons. No problem, it was remarketed straight away and sold within a few days. We were obviously stressed but Steve didn't seam phased by this and remained positive and up beat. Steve stepped in after two years of terrible advice from local agents in cannock .. its a hard job sitting between sellers and buyers all previous agents i used (4) were charlatans and untrustworthy . Appalling industry but Steve is honest and direct you may not like what he tells you but he has proved to be right. Steve was really professional in all he did, from the first meeting through all the negotiations and hurdles along the way to final completion. The highlight of the process was the photography, video and 3D walk through technology he used in the listing - I think this really 'sold the house' as we had many viewings on the back of it with positive feedback from the viewers too. Steve was always on hand to give advice and we had complete confidence in him. We lost one sale, but Steve was there right away - we re-listed the same afternoon and had new viewings booked by the end of the week and a new sale. He was there on the final day of our move too. My experience with Steve and open house, was nothing less then top class So when I come to the decision to sell my house I rang lots of different estate agents, Steve was one of the agents who offered me the highest house sale value and his rates was one of cheapest of all the other agents, But most importantly he was not pushy so it was no brainer to choose Steve and open house, From start to finnish Steve was 100% professional and if there was any problems or questions, I had no problems getting hold of Steve though his mobile, customer service outstanding ?????? One of the massive plus ? with Steve is he would arrange viewing from peoples inquirys over the weekend where some estate agents only operate 9 till 5 mon till Fri, Steves pictures of the house was really good and 3d camera equipment from the house walk though was the same package ?????? what Other estate agents was offering me who was charging over double Steve fee, I would recommend Steve to any one selling there property, brilliant service and great value ????????????... As a first time purchaser I must say that the service and communication of this company is rubbish. My partner and myself made arrangements with Steve to view a property on the Sunday. we were both happy to proceed and asked for a second viewing 3 days later (on the Wednesday at 6pm) an acceptable offer was agreed with the vendor. All the relevant paperwork was sent to Steve the following day. Steve said that he would speak with the vendor (why i don't know) because the offer had been accepted. On the following day (Friday) I had to contact Steve due to him not getting back to me and he said "I hate doing this but another offer had been accepted". A very poor and unprofessional service and made it even worse as a first time purchaser. He also had the cheek to say if the property fell through then he would get back to me. Right from the start Steve was great, we called late in the evening and was shocked that there was a voice at the end of the phone. Usually estate agents have the same hours as working hours. Both Steve the estate agent and Jason the mortgage advisor helped me by my first home. As a first time buyer I did not know much about what I needed to do so I am thankful to both of them for helping answer probably the silliest of questions! Luckily I have close family who will be helping set my bills up but for first time buyers some guidance on what bills need to be set up may really help! I used a solicitor firm recommended by Open House, these quoted me the lowest price which I was grateful for however the solicitor needed a lot of prompting to speed up the sale, raising queries that couldn’t be justified etc. I appreciate the time Steve and Jason spent in speaking with her and agreeing to set a completion date for when I wanted....
