As both a buyer and seller, this is by far the worst estate agent I have ever dealt with in over 20 years.
They repeatedly fail to respond to basic queries. They do not return calls. Jack the manager is evasive and must be overstretched as he is unable to do the role properly.
I ended up switching agent due to the clown like behaviour and the shear level of unprofessionalism shown.

My property already on the market, I called Bridgfords to arrange a viewing of one of their properties. Never got back to me and bounced all subsequent calls and message to answerphone. Discourteous at best. Efficient at sending me their junk emails however. I certainly wouldn't use them.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Bridgfords Sales and Letting Agents in Stafford, and I can honestly say the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
After registering my interest in a rental property in Uttoxeter, I was contacted within 15 minutes by Simon, who was incredibly polite, professional, and welcoming. He promptly arranged a viewing for the very next day and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly.
At the viewing, Simon was not only knowledgeable and helpful, but genuinely kind and approachable. I immediately fell in love with the apartment, and thanks to Simon’s efficiency and support, the entire process—from viewing to paperwork—was seamless and stress-free.
The level of service I received far exceeded my expectations. If I could give more than five stars, I certainly would. A heartfelt thank you to Simon and the entire Bridgfords team—you’ve been absolutely fantastic.

My experience of this estate agents wasn't the best, I was trying to purchase a house and even though my offer was accepted they still did viewings on said property and thus i lost the property in the end, all in all a very stressful experience also jack (the manager) was unpleasant to deal with. Wouldn't recommend this business, just look at trustpilot.

If you are looking to sell your home in Stafford, please sell via Bridgfords! We have both purchased and now sold with Bridgfords and both have been enjoyable and it’s been what can normally be a stressful experience so easy.
Jack and his team have always gone above and beyond from start to finish, ensuring our purchase went through quickly and smoothly and was always on hand to answer any question, no matter how big or small! When we recently decided to sell our home, Jack came straight out and the property was listed on rightmove the day after and sold within a week.
The attention to detail, care and support you receive from the whole team is second to none and something we have not experienced from any other estate agent in Stafford. We have unfortunately had terrible dealings with another popular estate agents in Stafford but there is not a single bad word we can say about Bridgfords, only positivity!
Mike was so kind and helped to sort dispute with another estate agent in Stafford which was very stressful but Mike was so reassuring. Jack has gone the extra mile in every single aspect to helping sell our house to helping us find our next home, nothing has ever been too much trouble and he is amazing at what he does! Honor and Caitlin have been very kind organising viewings which has made the whole process feel so much easier and stress free.

I’ve been renting for 4 years and I have never had an experience like Bridge fords Stafford. Pushy, careless staff who want you out the door so they can get the next tenants in. Will book viewings without your knowledge or consent. Didn’t care that we have a cat in the house who isn’t aloud out. We had a proposal for the rent to be put up, we asked bridgefords to ask our landlord to reconsider to an in between price. Didn’t hear back from them, we decided to look for somewhere else because of it and when we managed to find a house and move instead, We let bridgefords know and they replied instantly. We’re pushy about getting the pictures done when the house looks the same as last year!! And then what do you know the house goes on for the price we asked to reconsider too. I am convinced they didn’t even ask our landlord. An absolute joke to be honest.
This company is appalling and I would never rent or buy a house from this agents after this awful experience.

I want to thank Alison and her team for their faultless support from late May to September 2022. The service was excellent throughout, from the valuation right through to completion. The marketing day led to about five immediate offers including several over the 'offers above' price. STC was achieved within days. Due to problems (now resolved) with our purchase, the completion was delayed. The team always ensured our buyers were kept informed. As a buyer, my experience with Bridgfords was terrible in that it was non-existent. I made contact with Bridgfords around five times about a couple of properties I was interested in, by phone, online and in person. The phone always went to voicemail, no one called back. My online query was answered a week late after an offer went in on a property and after I left the city. And in person, I was told that the property was under offer with absolutely no interest shown in asking me what I was looking for or alternatives offered. I don’t know what their issue is but I blame the management regardless. I wouldn’t recommend to sellers either if they aren’t getting your property to the widest audience possible.

In my experience, Bridgfords do not care about the client when it comes to renting. Not only were there permanent ongoing issues with the property I rented from them, but they even forgot to acknowledge when I’d moved out from the property until 7 months later! Communications are slow and you’re never made to feel welcome.

Unfortunately posting negative or no-star ratings is not an option. One star implies they deserve a modicum of respect. In my opinion formed from experience, they do not. In connection with a proposed house purchase though they did not tell lies they deceived me by omission and evasion and have wasted three months of my life.

They still charge the banned tenant fees. They call you for a viewing and then proceed to tell you that you should pay a non refundable amount of money for ‘references of an external company’ to become an applicant. Doesn’t matter where you do the references, according to the law, the landlord should pay for these costs. Avoid

I would not recommend using them to rent a property from.The staff at Bridgfords, Stafford are unprofessional, lazy and unhelpful. They have been known to exploit their younger tenants, using the young tenants inexperience, to avoid doing what they are employed to do.

Having reviewed and tried the choice of estate agents central to our area who claim local and national sales coverage, we began the adventure of marketing our house. It soon became obvious that promises of updates, attended viewings and full market penetration on our behalf were not being effectively fulfilled. We even had no enquiries whatsoever from an internet-only agent who promised the earth and produced nothing. It seemed that the only advice/solution ever recommended by these agents was to keep reducing the very price which they had recommended in the first place.
By a lucky coincidence we took a tentative look at Bridgfords Estate Agents in Stafford where we were courteously encouraged to explain our disappointing experiences. Their response was immediate and effective. We felt that all staff members were proud to offer our beautiful home for sale and we were given pride of place in their advertising campaigns. Since then everyone has worked constantly and professionally to promote a sale.

Viewing a property in Stafford, had trouble getting the keys to the property's garage to view it. Despite asking repeatedly for keys for it our requests were ignored. When I raised it again as I was concerned about whether I would need to make alternative arrangements to secure the garage upon moving in, I was told rather patronisingly not to worry about it and I could rest assured that all would be fine as they (Bridgfords) were well experienced at handling such matters. Not confident in this, I contacted them, yet again, two days before completion as I was concerned this issue had not been addressed. Sure enough I was right. I reminded them that the vendor was contractually obliged to supply all keys as per our contract. Was called back later and told keys would be ready for me to collect from them upon completion day. They were not!!! Trying to explain my annoyance at not dealing with my reasonable request to the staff at Bridgfords was like talking to a brick wall. They had no grasp of the impact of the importance of not being able to secure my belongings in the garage on the day of moving in despite my repeated requests so I reminded them that the vendors were in breach of contract and that their apathy in sorting out what should be a relatively straightforward issue would probably not go down well with their clients. The manager was disinterested, lookingat me like I was being ridiculous which to me typified their attitude and inability to take control and sort it out like they should have down weeks ago. They contacted the vendor and said the keys were on their way, so now I had to wait for them to turn up, delaying my moving in and holding up the removals. When I asked how long, they had to phone the vendor again (poor forward thinking eh) and this time was told the keys to the garage had been posted through the house letter box. At last! (So I thought) went to the house, not the garage keys!!!! Another set of house keys!! Phoned Bridgfords again, left it with them, again reminded them ofcthe contractual obligation and that their vendor might not appreciate a bill for calling put a locksmith to fit new lock and that it was their (Bridgfords) apathy that led to this. A couple of hours later Bridgfords called back saying they were sending out a locksmith and they would pay the bill. At least I finally had a solution but Bridgfords could have saved themselves and me a lot of hassle if they had established the status that there were no keys from the start. Had they done so, I would have known where I stood and I would have known in advance that I would need to buy new locks without any undue worry in doing so. This wasn't the only issue with them, They were very poor at returning calls, didn't seem interested once they knew the sale was 'in the bag' and at times a little too condescending for my liking. And before you think I've been a bit melodramatic, I'm pretty thick skinned and not sensitive to little things, I work in the military so am used to hard faced attitudes but what I won't tolerate is a laissez faire attitude and lack of basic respect for simple, reasonable requests which are met with an air of contempt. Bridgfords were a little too good at that for my liking!!!
