Great service from Natalie and Orion holidays. We booked at very short notice and they couldn't have been more helpful. We stayed in 43 Spring lake which was amazing value so clean and comfortable.
We enjoyed it so much we booked a second week at 89 windrush lake which was even better. Have recommended to friends and family already. 5 stars just isn't enough.

We received fantastic customer service from Orion. They were very responsive and helpful. The house was stunning! It was beautifully decorated with comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. The whole place was spotlessly clean. It was lovely and quiet and we enjoyed the view over the lake. We look forward to booking again

We stayed on Clearwater Lake as a late Xmas as we were unable to be together in December. The house was immaculate with an open fire and hot tub with views of the lake.
The house was a stones throw from the cafe/restaurant, soft play and spa, all of which were great. The staff on site are so friendly.
I would definitely recommend a stay here. Everything was well organised by Orion in advance.

I would highly recommend Orion holidays and 66 Windrush where we stayed . Everything was spot on . Very clean and an absolutely lovely house with everything we needed for our stay , there was nothing we needed to ask for . As we were there between Christmas and new year it was so nice that there was a christmas tree and other festive decorations to welcome us , it really felt like , home from home . I would have no hesitation in booking this house again it was so nice .

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday stay in South Cerney. The location was perfect – peaceful, scenic, and ideal for a relaxing festive break, while still being close to lovely walks, lakes, and local amenities.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it feel like a real home away from home. It was especially cosy over the Christmas period and had everything we needed to enjoy quality family time together.
South Cerney itself is a great base for exploring the Cotswolds, and we loved how quiet and calm it felt during the holidays. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to others looking for a relaxing getaway, especially over Christmas.

Orion Holidays were brilliant. We stayed at the Cotswolds Lake House for 5 nights over Christmas. Orion answered any query promptly. They made up the sofa bed in the house as requested and the agent was at the house when we arrived and could answer any queries. Very helpful. No complaints. Had a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend them.

We had a wonderful family weekend at Waters Edge. With 7 adults staying we all had comfortable double beds in beautiful bedrooms. The open plan living/dining room/kitchen allows for everyone to socialise in comfortable surroundings. Of course the highlight of the weekend was the hot tub on the deck which was great at all times of day and night. We came away planning to return next year.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in one of the properties at Lower Mill Estate, the property was immaculate, we honestly couldn't fault it in anyway. It was super clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a weekend break, we will definitely return again someday and will be recommending it to friends and family too!

Absolutely superb house. Looking out onto the lake was beautiful. The facilities were great. Although there was a problem with the indoor pool and one of our sessions was cancelled. Bally hoo was great. The children enjoyed their activities. Would definitely recommend.

Overall a good experience although I feel the property could do with a bit of an uplift regarding decoration. A number of areas with flaking paint and filler.
Very well equipped and very clean and tidy.

Besser, als erwartet.
Wir waren 5 Tage mit unseren 4 Kids vor Ort.
Es war zwar etwas schwierig, das Areal zu finden, aber einmal angekommen haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.
Das Ferienhaus war das best ausgestattete, das wir jemals hatten.
Ein Kamin mit Kaminholz, eine Waschmaschine mit Trocknerfu nktion, eine perfekt ausgestattete Küche, Grill auf der Terrasse, bequeme Betten, genug Badezimmer (3 Stück), eigener Parkplatz uvm.
Die APP hat auch geholfen, die Kommunikation war sehr professionell.
Das Haus ist leider nicht direkt am Wasser, sondern in der zweiten Reihe, das macht aber nichts...
Das SPA ist nicht weit weg und war für uns ein fester Tagespunkt (Pool mit Sauna und Dampfbad), die vielen Sportmöglichkeiten und Wanderwege haben alles abgerundet.
Die Nähe zu Cirencester war toll, die Landschaft insgesamt traumhaft...
Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen

We stayed at 70 howells mere, sunnybank!
Lovely home - great for 7 of us. Was set up very well for self catering, able to do a full roast and bbq over the weekend.
Great location - lovely site with lots to do! Our ages ranged from 24-84 so there was a good range for all of us.
The company were very attentive calling days before to let us know everything. And make sure we were okay.
Only parking for 2 cars directly outside the property but worked for us.
Just be careful of the midges at night because you’re so close to the water ????
Would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful stay last week, Orion holidays were absolutely amazing to deal with. We had to change our dates, and they were so helpful and managed to change them with no additional fees. The communication was spot on.
The lodge we stayed at was great, perfect for our family get together. Our doggy loved her 1st holiday, and managed to make friends with the neighbours.

We stayed for a mid week break in Lower Mill Estate in June 2025's heatwave. It was lovely to be next to the lake in the heat. There were lakes where we could paddle to cool down and let the dog walk in (on lead). The property was properly dog friendly with throws on the settees expecting dogs to climb up and no area of the house out of bounds for the dog. There are many walks around the estate (which is a nature reserve) and also on the Thames path for the dog as well as the humans.
The spa membership was great as there was access to the spa's indoor and outdoor pool for "proper swimming". Usually the outdoor pool isn't open mid week in June as it's seasonal but thank goodness it was in the heatwave. There's a small gym that the young men used too. The unheated naturally filtered lily pond was popular in the heat. I'm not sure anyone used the sauna or steam room this time. The only thing missing is a hot tub but lots of the other houses come with a hot tub so if that's important you can select one that comes with the house.
There's another outdoor heated pool in Mill Village that's available to everyone. That one is heated to Centerparcs outdoor pool temperature so you don't have to swim to stay warm! Great for younger children.
Kayak and paddleboards can be hired on site. Orion Holidays recommended the Cotswold paddleboard company which offered great service, delivery and collection to the house and was cheaper than the onsite hire.
There's quite a few tennis courts and multipurpose Astro turf courts. Table tennis too. In Mill Village, you'll find a sunken trampoline next to the pool together with a grassed area and small goals for football kickabout. There's a playground for little ones right next to the cafe/restaurant on site.
Clearwater 28 is very well maintained and had everything that we needed. It's so nice not to have to take the basics like washing up liquid. The main supermarkets deliver so we ordered our shop for our arrival. Excellent showers. All the bathrooms had baths with showers over so a little more difficult for some to access. That's probably the only thing we'd change - putting a walk in shower on the ground floor.
Great service from Orion throughout. They know all the properties really well and the local facilities. Don't hesitate to ask them as they have all the answers. We asked if we could borrow a DVD player (old school I know) and it was sorted.

We had a wonderful time at 55 Lakeside. Difficult to find any faults. The cottage was clean, modern and well stocked with items including kitchen utensils, toiletries, games and comfortable furniture. There are some attractive less well-known villages nearby worth exploring: e.g., South Cerney and Ashton Keynes.

67 Clearwater is spacious and comfortable. The view is stunning. It is private and fully equipped for number of guests. Only complaint. It advertises having direct pool access. This is a very steep muddy slope with a dangerous metal bar sticking out of the ground; as reported last year. Vegetation overgrown making pool access poor; however remembered this from last year and took secateurs with us.

We had a lovely holiday overall at Spring Lake in Lapwing. 2 adults, 4 kids and a dog - all comfortable in the space. Loads of activities in lakes nearby and the lakeside brasserie and bar is a real advantage - better than average food. Also used Carle’s Coffee - 5 min walk away, every morning and Co-op in South Cerney which is 15 min walk ish. Recommend Cirencester for shops and Royal Oak is a nice local pub with good food.
Spring Lake is peaceful but during the summer you can’t use it for paddle boarding or kayaking etc as the motor boat runs on it for wake boarding. There are plenty of options nearby though.
House is comfortable and hot tub an asset (though temp control was a bit funky). A few bits could do with an update: the TV has some streaming but it’s limited and you can’t cast to it. More of an issue for the teenagers tbh. Wi-Fi was fine though. Flooring is a bit tired in places (first world problems) and in the hot weather, it was hard to stay cool on the bedsheets. Bring your own fans if you need any. Only one shower (downstairs).
Overall- highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights at Casa Angela during the RIAT airshow, and it was the perfect base for our trip! The location is peaceful and beautiful, just a short drive from the show. The house itself is spacious, warm, and very well equipped – it felt like a home away from home. It’s beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We shared the house with another family, and it was ideal for that – plenty of room, and a great layout for socializing. We especially enjoyed the evenings, when we could relax and have a barbecue together after a full day at the airshow. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for a quiet, cozy stay near RIAT or just to enjoy the Cotswolds Lakes area!

Great place to stay as we had family in another property on the complex, so we had our own space but could walk easily between the two houses to hang out. Plenty of space for 7 people with such comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

Very easy to contact them using the telephone number provided for support. The property itself was wonderful and we would highly recommend it. The property was well kept, clean and well kitted out. Had a lovely week in the Cotswolds. House was well equipped with everything you need and some nice extras like Nespresso coffee pods. Shower in main bathroom very small so if you're tall you would need to use shower over bath in ensuite.
Having access to the outdoor pool was great for our girls and lower mill estate is a lovely secure complex. Would recommend. Visited the Bakers Arms pub nearby for dinner which was very nice. All in all a lovely holiday and weather was fantastic!

A lovely cottage with everything we needed. It is dog friendly, so the only disappointing thing was the veranda was not closed in and our dog could just run out, but we moved the garden furniture and soon fixed this issue.
My daughter and her friend loved the heated outdoor swimming pool!! Cotswold country park and beach was only a few mins drive away and had many water sports activities that my family enjoyed. Half an hour from the beautiful Bourton-on-the-water. We just had the best week, the weather was glorious! Also the discount card for local pubs/restaurants. Always helps! Everybody was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the area and Orion.

We had a most wonderful 3 nights in Cirencester which we booked through Orion holidays. We were 9 of us and had a blast. IT was all girls staycation but no fear of anything. Also the kitchen was stoked with all the necessary things so if need to cook we had all the things which was very handy. Their customer service i personally would give 5* as wherever i had any questions i got a prompt reply.
The villas we had booked were amazing and facing the lake.
We enjoyed Bourton on water which is a lovely place to visit when in cotswold. Nice small cosy tea rooms with hot scones and clotted cream. Soft and Gelato ice creams. Model village.
We visited Emerald Thai restaurant where the food was delicious in Cirencester and the atmosphere really good. Overall had a great experience and would def book again with Orion holidays????

We loved the house! So much room for 9 of us and so well appointed with mugs and plates There was a welcome basket of milk bread and butter too. The favourite was the Hot Tub but we made use of the tennis courts too. The young ones were booked in for Water Skiing and the young man was so patient with them they were soon skiing up and down the lake and managing turns ! Paddle boarding suited the others! The only nuisance was the lack of a curtain in the top room which we managed to block out with the ironing board and towels but that needs to be sorted. A great stay and just right for an 80 th birthday!

We had a wonderful stay as two families of 4 at 15 Waters Edge. Such a lovely space to hang out in. The hot tub is such a nice touch - a big hit whatever the weather. The property was immaculately presented with everything we needed for our stay. Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep and a short walk to the lakeside brasserie where our lot enjoyed some wakeboarding and food (spring lake/brasserie image attached). You can easily walk to the refurbished Crown in cerney wick too. Paddle boarding and kayaking around waters edge was lovely. Thank you! Successful short break for all ages.

Well what can I say this holiday let is amazing and has everything you need for a break in the Cotswold. Views from the back of the property overlook the Nature Reserve Lake, lovely views with the sunset. Kitchen is stocked with all utensils you need for your stay. Property has Dishwasher & Washing Machine. Pictures you see are how it looks on arrival. Lovely decking areas to sit and admire the views. We used the indoor & outdoor Pools over at the spa which were well maintained and very clean. Everywhere was spotless. We also used the outdoor pool by the main entrance which again was really clean. There is so much to do on site or you can hop in the car and view other lakes all within a short drive. Visited the Beach Country Park, which in the car is a 10 minute drive, very nice place lots of activities there.
Shopping was delivered by Tescos on arrival, all went very smoothly. EV chargers are available onsite and new ones were being installed during our stay. Would highly recommend this property and we are also hoping to be back with the family. We had 6 nights and sunshine all week, did not want to leave.

We rented a holiday property for a family break with Orion, I can’t recommend them enough, they were so helpful, gave us loads of information, offered a late checkout and also called us to say our property was ready, which was 3 hours before check in.
The App they have was great, so much information, had everything you needed to know from spa treatments to restaurant and activity information plus loads more stuff.
The accommodation was great, overlooking the Lake, it was very well equipped and was super clean.
We’ll definitely be returning.
The Lower Mill Estate complex was lovely.

Beautiful place and a fantastic weekend stay, the house was amazing! we loved the hot tub and loft room. very comfortable, warm and included 2 welcome packs for the dogs as well as tea and coffee, biscuits etc. loved it and will definitely stay again!

Accommodation was very clean and well equipped. We had a slight issue with a radiator that was immediately addressed by Orion. The site had a decent restaurant and a fabulous spa. Going mid week and out of season meant we got the swimming pool to ourselves!
Facilities like tennis courts were well maintained.
We headed out to see some local towns and villages. Loved Cirencester - great shopping with many independent shops.
Orion were easy to work with so booking, arrival and departure were seamless.

We had the most wonderful time on the Orion holiday. The house was great and really adaptable for our family. There was just everything we needed. There are so many activities in the area. Cycling, canoeing, swimming in the three pools, wildlife.

Really great house for a family holiday. We were very happy here for our weekend with lots for people to do. The spa was great, lovely pool even though it was a bit busy. Lovely dog walks from the door and the hot tub was very popular with us.

We had a great 5 days here. Excellent downstairs with fully equipped kitchen. Fantastic view over the lake. We’d stayed in another property twice but not this one before and we really liked the cosy nature of the house. Would be great in the summer looking out from the decking. Shame we can’t use one of the 4 boats though! We got the impression the house has been/ is being gradually redecorated because the kitchen looks new and the down stairs is very well appointed. So is the en-suite. The family bathroom upstairs could do with more storage for toiletries and it’s a shame the shower isn’t better. Not deal breakers though and we’d go again. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay at Cotswold Water Park the 4 bed House was lovely, felt very comfortable, clean and furnished to a good standard, exactly what we wanted,very well equipped , with a great deck overlooking the lake ,all with furniture and a bbq . Would be very happy to stay in the same property again.
Grounds are beautifully kept and everything was within easy reach. Thank you .

This is our third visit to 66 Windrush Sunkissed lodge and it was still as good as ever. Everything you would need for a week away is catered for. The south facing decking area is great to sit out on and the hot tub is an extra bonus. It is a great base to visit lots of beautiful places and nearby pubs.
Staff at Orion were again extremely helpful, making our stay that even more relaxing any enjoyable.
We hope to again return next year.

very nice place for a family holiday, we had marvellous time, Nice and clean property with beautiful lake views. The only thing lacking was smart TV and I will suggest to consider to upgrade. We had to watch Netflix movies on laptop which was not a great experience as family.

6 adults of varying ages and 3 children, aged 6, 9 and 10 all had a fabulous holiday. The accommodation far better than average including nice little touches like spa robes. It was spacious, clean, modern and well designed. All enjoyed the paddle boarding and some of the party went wakeboarding, as well as the Aquaventure and sculpture park, which was excellent and very close. Some of us did bike rides and beautiful walks all within easy access. The youngest child loved the indoor and outdoor pool. Perfect situation for exploring the western Cotswolds. Hope to return

Perfect to switch off, stunning grounds, beautiful accommodation in a peaceful setting within a stones throw of great family activities, restaurants and tons of space for exploring by bike or walking with our dog.
There is a small paddling beach on site and a doggy swim area. Absolutely the best way to spend quality time with loved ones. At home luxury available, including private chef and spa treatments.
The booking team are super helpful and there is a site app to help you make the best of your time.

We booked the property for a 3 night family get together and it proved to be the perfect choice. We were 7 adults and 2 children and the property provided everything we needed in spacious surroundings with a great outlook over the lake. We would definitely return to this property.

67 Clearwater is a beautiful house in an amazing setting.
The house is equip with all the facilities you will need for you and your family to have a perfect stay. The bedrooms are gorgeous and the beds are super comfortable so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. The back garden has a hot tub and plenty of seating for at least 8.
The site itself has a spa with 3 pools including an inside and outside pool. Tennis courts, playground, restaurant and a bar. This place really has it all.
The local supermarkets (Tesco and Aldi) are also only 12 minutes away so if you do want to do your own catering then this is easy to do.

Had an amazing week on Somerford Lagoon. The house is perfectly situated with direct access to the lake. The kids spent hours each day on the paddle boards and we were able to keep an eye on them from the sun deck with a refreshing beer!! The house had everything needed and 3 bathrooms a real positive. Definitely going back and would recommend 100%

Great location and facilities. Some good offers for local restaurants and activities. Property is clean but a bit tired. Also at the time we stayed there were 6 workers housed next door while they were working on local projects. No issue with the guys personally, but we did get their music throughout the afternoons and evening which was intrusive

Just amazing the house is beautiful and smells lovely comfy beds they have thought of every thing you could need so quite just you and nature a little walk to swimming pools play park somewhere to eat and lots of lakes for paddle boards kayaks ect oh and fishing too be at one with nature and relax would definitely come back again

We've been staying at the Cotswold Water Park yearly for around a decade and using Orion Holidays to manage all aspects of our stay. It's always worked flawlessly and this year was no exception. Spring Lakes 19 is a lovely rental home with one of the beautiful lakes behind it. You can sit on the veranda and look out towards the lake with the ducks playing in the evening. There are water sports on the lake in the day. The house itself is very welcoming with everything you could want. I found it very clean and decorated very tastefully. The beds were comfy, nice bedding. Bathroom was a wet room, very clean. Good power shower. Hot water heats overnight so plenty in the morning for showers. There is a handy downstairs loo too.
Natalie was always on hand to welcome you and for any queries you may have. I would highly recommend a stay here.

What an amazing place to stay. We stayed at 74 Clearwater. The house is brilliant with lots of room and was very clean and comfortable. We went paddle boarding on a couple of the lakes, used the tennis and football courts. The on site restaurant was top notch too. Would highly recommend (so much so we're looking at rebooking for next year!)

Spent a gorgeous tranquil weekend at Summer Lake, 32B Meadowlark. My highlight was kayaking into the sunset after dinner (we had no reason to venture out other than a walk to the lovely Eliot Arms pub in the afternoon.) It was perfect for a group of mums who wanted a restful weekend. And now I want to return with my family as I know they'll love it too.

Beautiful house with everything we needed. There were even some unexpected extras like board games for the kids. Everyone loved the roof terrace and the hot tub was clean and easy to access. The surrounding area had so much to do we didn't get around to doing everything, so we will have to come back again.

We were a party of eight and found our accommodation extremely comfortable and well appointed. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. We enjoyed crazy golf, the soft play water park and water skiing, all outside the complex we stayed at, but within a 10 minute car ride. My son also booked three sessions of tutored lake swimming in preparation for a triathlon he has coming up. We also spent a pleasant evening at the Hub for drinks. The only improvement I would suggest is better signposting to the accommodations with numbers of the properties shown clearly, ie, HOWELLS MERE - Numbers 1-50, as an example. Sometimes after a long, tiring journey, even using the map provided, your address can be difficult to find.

I can’t recommend Orion Holidays enough, their Lodges are always clean, comfortable & fully equipped. The Cotswold are the perfect place to holiday for the whole family & basing yourself at the lakes makes it very easy. You are surround by water activities , nature , walks, sightseeing & amazing restaurants, country pubs & bistros. Nothing is too much trouble for the Orion staff ensuring your had a memorable holiday.

Lovely holiday with Orion. Great customer service at Orion, and we were extremely pleased with the stair gates placed on the terrace to manage access to the lakes. This enabled our children freedom to enjoy the outside space without the risk of them getting too far. The house was well kept and had everything we need. No issues at all!

A perfect stay for my husbands 40th birthday with all the family. Everywhere was clean and had every amenity in the kitchen anyone could ever need! We had beautiful weather and rented paddle boards for the lake right outside. Even the dog got a welcome pack with a treat and a ball which she absolutely loved.

This holiday company were a pleasure to deal with, always helpful, supportive and efficient.
3 generations of our family stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom upside down house on the Lower Mill Estate in the Cotswolds. The house backed onto a lake and came with everything we could possibly need, from a hot tub, right down to dish washer tablets. It included membership to the spar located just across the road, where we were able to swim inside and outside. There was a bar/restaurant (BalliHoo) and wood burning pizza bar within a short walk, along with a playground, soft play, tennis courts and an outdoor seating area.
The Cotswolds is a beautiful part of the country with plenty of activities and attractions, from water sports to a wild life centre. A perfect holiday location for young and old.

We have booked stays in the Cotswolds through Orion Holidays for over 10 years and have already booked up for 2024. They are a very "hands on" company and know the properties they manage as if they were their own! They are very quick to respond to any issues with a property however minor - I could not ask for more. We are delighted with Clearwater 86 "Clouds Keep" - Its close to all the amenities but overlooks a lovely quiet lake, is in pristine condition and is frankly a "Home from Home ( well its actually slightly better! . Local area is great for walks and pub dinners.

The perfect holiday spot for our family of 4. Villa 52 was well furnished and equipped with all we needed for our stay. And what a beautiful location - we enjoyed bbq's on the deck overlooking the water, long leisurely walks with our dog and the food at both the onsite bisto and cafe at The Gateway Centre were delicious. Great location too - so much to do close by . . . South Cerney is a short stroll, Cirencester and Malmesbury are short drives and Bath is an easy day out. Can't fault the staff at Orion, they were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Booked two Lodges at Cotswolds Park to take the family away and celebrate my 'big' birthday. Orion could not have been more helpful, their pre-event information is first class, the Lodges are exceptionally clean and they were on hand if we needed anything throughout. We were eleven in total and one Lodge could comfortably seat twelve so all ate together. Even though it was a dreary wet November as both Lodges had Hot Tubs we were well entertained with the youngsters enjoying a soak under the stars. A brilliant break and I thoroughly recommend Orion Holidays.

Stayed at waterside park in house number 5. Came home on Monday morning and noticed red marks on mine and my daughter's body, went to the GP today (wed) to be told they're bed bugs. Disgusting.

Lovely homes. Very well equipped. Nice hot tub. Our only issue was our neighbours!! They were partying till 3am. Not ideal when you have children. Would stay here again. Had a lovely break

Very professional holiday company to work with a with an excellent choice of high quality lakeside holiday cottages throughout the Cotswold Water Park. It is a fabulous area and we have been lucky enough to stay in several of the cottages and would happily return.
