From the get go me and my partner wasn't impressed with the communication for this letting agent. Not professional and quite abrupt on the phone. Once we moved into our rented accommodation we noticed the waste pipe outside was leaking so we reported this to PLM and was made to feel like we had done something wrong. Any contact after that to the manager Paula Lord was always short and abrupt, if she was "out the office" when we called she would never ring us back and took her days to respond to emails. Overall we felt like PLM are far more concerned over the people selling and buying houses then they are the renting side of things, we wouldn't deal with them again and are glad to be out of contract with them.... We have been viewing properties for log months and came across all sorts of agencies in the area before PLM. Always felt rushed, the agents could never answer any questions and they just generally didn't seem interested in making an effort at all. Then we met Alison. I could not believe how patient and understanding she was, I felt the whole experience was on a different level to everything we have experienced so far. She was extremely professional but at the same time she was down to Earth and could relate to us. I’ve just recently let a property with PLM, my experience has been nothing short of perfect. Not only did the estate agent stay late to accommodate our viewings but she’s also fast tracked everything through to try and align our moving date with my partners week off work. PLM, and especially Alison and Kirk, have been with us on every step of our journey, firstly on our purchase of our home in Lostock, and then, five years down the line, our sale. Neither were easy - due to a complicated chain on our sale in Manchester the purchase was very protracted, but Alison kept the vendor at Lower House assuaged for many months to allow us to secure and complete. As we were emigrating, the timing of the sale of Lower House was incredibly crucial to our plans. Alison and Kirk went way beyond anything we could reasonably expect of them (chasing recalcitrant legals, steadying nerves through the chain, even on should-be rare days off). Quite seriously, as well as admired professionals, they have become valued friends. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.... Read more

I have recently sold my house using PLM Sales. I must say it has not been a smooth process at all, this was not anyone's fault, but we finally got there on our third buyer. AVOID!! Strongly advised Do NOT have any involvement with these people this firm is highly unprofessional. Once they have taken your money and you sign on the dotted line their mannerisms towards you go down hill massively. I had problems with neighbours for the most part, only for them to turn around and force ME to leave my home simply because they either cannot be bothered dealing with such difficulties or because they do not care unless it’s in their own interest. They have done nothing to stop the neighbours causing antisocial behaviour and bullying. This firm uses a threatening approach and refuse to take complaints seriously. Totally Biased and unreasonable. Having tried to reason with them many times and ask them to kindly let me leave in peace, they instead decided to discriminate and harass me using force There are far better agencies out there with the right professional attitude do not waste your time or money with PLM. These people are bullies behind a desk and have no interest in helping you.... Read more

Sent enquiry through Right Move the same day a property goes on the site. No response for 2 days, so ring them on the 3rd day instead. In that time, 6 viewings on the property but promised a virtual tour sent to me as can't fit in any more personal viewings. On the day... Nothing. Very unreliable. Not pleased at all. To anyone that decides to rent with this letting agent think twice i litrally called them asked about a property the women that answered was so rude and says no sorry its not avaliable i get my partner to call up 2 mins later and they say somthing else yeah ill book u in for a viewing .... very untrustworthy agent i rang back up to speak to the manager and she was just as rude i hope the owner off the company sees this and i hope landlord's think twice of what letting agents manage there property's!!!!...
