Having heard some horror stories about other letting agencies in Bristol, we feel so fortunate to have rented through them as they did everything to make our experience as easy and hassle-free as possible. During our tenancy, Parks also managed the sale of the flat, something which could have been stressful for us as tenants but was handled seamlessly. The team made sure we were notified of any viewings in plenty of time, as well as proactively sharing properties that may be of interest to us. We really appreciated their efforts to keep us in the loop with what was going on, making for a smooth and unhurried move-out process.
Overall, we couldn't recommend Parks highly enough!

We moved a couple months ago through Parks, and in particular Natasha and Hollie were both great. Natasha was so welcoming and accommodating for us to view the property as we were only available on certain dates which she managed to make work with the vendors. Also Hollie was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. She provided updates regularly from the vendors and as we were not located near the office was really helpful in arranging when and where we needed to come in to complete certain steps.

Parks are an independent estate agents, which in my opinion is the best way to go: more personal, flexible and genuine. Being East Bristol specialists, they know what they're doing at a grassroots level in the area. Andy is a disarmingly lovely guy, and Hollie, their sale progressor, was a vital conduit of communication, especially when it came to juggling the barrel of monkeys that are conveyancing solicitors; it's a pity the industry might require such a role at estate agents, but there you go: Parks have a member of staff dedicated to this task, it is absolutely needed, and Hollie did a sterling job of keeping on top of it.

I have had a fantastic experience with Parks Estate Agents throughout my tenancy. Jake and the team were very helpful in scoping out properties as well as making the moving in process as easy as possible, which mattered to me as a first-time renter.
Jake checked in with me to ensure everything was okay with the flat but this was only when appropriate and I had forewarning of any inspections . I must also say my landlord was fantastic in offering any help with the property too and kept me in the loop with any management company notices.
Upon leaving, it was a smooth transition into my new property. The Parks team ensured I was aware in advance of any viewings which took place. The move out process was easy to follow and I received my deposit swiftly after the flat inspection.

Was with parks for several years. They repeatedly ignored problems I'd reported with the property, such as mould, damp, a back door which had fallen off it's hinges, a stair step which had collapsed, etc.
Then, they evicted me with a shrug and a section 21 notice and claimed a chunk of deposit for the garden I couldn't access to tend due to the door falling off.
I wouldn't trust these folks. They've left me homeless in an aggressive housing market.

I had three agents value my house and I was the most impressed with Parks because it was obvious Amelia had taken the time to research and prepare before her visit. The other two agents just walked in, swivelled their heads around the living room and told me a figure that I already knew was too high and unrealistic for the size of the house. My neighbour, who sold a few months previous, listened to the over-estimators, went with their figure and had to reduce his sale price three times with his house left on the market much longer than he'd hoped for. Amelia brought information with her of recent sales of similar properties which helped us come to the mutual decision of what the house should be marketed at.
The photos were fantastic and the listing went up very quickly. Typically for the Bristol market, there was a lot of interest with all viewings taking place over two days. This was all very well organised and caused us very little inconvenience.
We had a number of offers which were all presented with the information needed to help us make the right decision which I was very happy with.
The conveyancing period had the usual bumps in the road and a rather stressful lead up to the exchange/completion date but Hollie was very good at communicating, extremely responsive to emails and calls and got us all through the exchange day with minutes to spare!!
I would certainly recommend them to others - my friend sold her house through them at the same time and had an equally good experience.

As a first time buyer, I dealt with many agents viewing properties locally, but it was clear that Parks really did care about their dealings with prospective buyers, not simply rushing people along as a tick-box exercise as some other estate agents had been.
Natasha Alexander was truly a wonderful estate agent, being supportive in the midst of a highly competitive and therefore stressful market, encouraging me and giving me the tips I needed to secure my first home. I really did find myself trusting Parks over and above other agents in the area.
Hollie Stranton then saw the sales progression through to completion, and all I can say about Hollie is that if it wasn't for her attentive nature and strong communication, we certainly wouldn't have exchanged to the time scales we had wanted to. Hollie really did make up for the failings of my conveyancer, providing far better clarity on next steps throughout the process than I was getting from my lawyers who were charging me substantially for, quite frankly, a sub-par service. Hollie tirelessly kept whole process ticking over in a timely manner and for that I am grateful!

They got to really know what I was looking for and I've ended up with my dream first home and couldn't be happy. As a first-time buyer, bottom of the chain, you can often feel like the least important person in the chain, but Parks were always checking in on how things were going and chased for me whenever it was needed. Particular shout out to Natasha who helped me with both houses I viewed, she was wonderfully kind and I'd go back to Parks in a second... that is if I ever leave here! Thanks again Parks team!

If you are going to sell your house in Bristol, then Parks is literally head and shoulders above the rest! They will tell you how it is, they are very experienced, non-salesy, they worked so hard for us on 3 sales, one of which fell through, no fault of their own, they've gone above and beyond to support us in what is always a very stressful process but we felt so reassured being in their capable hands. We've now moved out of Bristol so I'll be gutted if and when we do sell our house that we won't be able to use Parks.

Park estate agents were recommended to us by a neighbour at the property we were selling. As we live in Doncaster at the property was in Bristol it is a 6 hour round trip for us. However when the valuations etc were done they took over for us. They did the viewings, last meter readings , checked on the house for us as it was empty and gave us some contact details of a house clearence company. Excellent service,always replied to emails phone calls etc. Would definitely recommend them.

So happy we went with Parks. Everyone on the team was relaxed, friendly, easy to talk to and super helpful throughout the whole process. Very much in contrast to the estate agents of my sellers that we had to deal with who were pushy and rude, disorganised throughout as well as unhelpful with even basic things like measurements and keys. Our move was complicated by lockdown and buyers pulling out and Sophie, Andrew, and Natasha (Parks agents) were all supportive, fast acting, and basically just nice people to deal with!

Phoned up to arrange a viewing the day the property went on the market and arranged time off work to take the next available viewing. Parks called 2 hours before my viewing to cancel telling me they were moving to best and final and no longer conducting further viewings. Complete time wasters.

We had our offer accepted with Parks and were conducting searches with our lawyers. Parks had all the contact details for us and our lawyers. I got one phone call while working oncall in the nhs stating that if they didn't hear back from me immediately they would sell the house to someone else.
I only picked up the voice mail the following day by which time I couldn't do anything.
I could not believe the lack of professionalism or care by Parks. We are a young family and there was no thought or apology for the difficult position this puts us in.
Specifically watch out for Andrew as it was he who organised this, and had not been dealing with our case until then.

I rented a property through parks for 3.5 years. Polite and friendly people, but disorganised with poor communication. We had to flag major errors on every piece of paperwork we received. I’m still not sure what our rent truly was, our contract had a different amount to what they told us, which was then different to what they told incoming tenants. Queries about this were never answered. They kept £60 of my deposit, saying it had been ‘agreed with all tenants months ago’, however it wasn't mentioned to me, although I offered to complete the task they kept my deposit for. The other tenants received their full deposits back so it wasn’t even true. Visits from the landlord or agency were often not communicated in advance, or were disorganised (an employee interrupted a sensitive work meeting despite me informing two separate people why that time was not okay). Ultimately, they were consistently unreliable. I would not rent through them again.

I went for a viewing for a property that was advertised as a studio/flat and it turned out to be a tiny ensuite room with a sink and a fridge. It didn't even have space for a wardrobe! The photos looked like you're actually getting a studio or a flat but in reality you re getting the small room and access to a shared kitchen which is shared between 11 rooms. Also the stairs from the kitchen to the advertised room were tiny, so I've no idea how you can even carry stuff to your room without falling. Also, it took them forever to find the key to get into the room; my first viewing got canceled and the second was about to be canceled too but then the key was found after all. I would avoid this agency.

If you’re selling your property...use these guys! I can’t recommend them highly enough!!! I won’t lie, our sale was not smooth, no fault of Parks, but it was thanks to Andrew, Sophie and the team at Parks Estate Agents that we got across the line.
From the first meeting with Andy for our valuation to the final call on completion from Sophie, they were fair, friendly, patient and above all professional! The communication was brilliant and when it felt like no one else, even our own solicitor, was doing their job properly, Parks filled the gaps and made sure things moved along as they should.

I had a great experience with Parks. Andrew, Theresa and even the people I spoke to on the phone were professional, kind and genuine. As a first time buyer this whole process can be pretty intimidating. Someone advised me that when I was viewing a property I should keep in mind that the agent was working for the seller and not for me, which is fair enough but leaves you feeling you can’t trust what is being said to you, but I never got that sense with anyone from Parks - I ended up buying a flat that they were selling and a lot of that was to do with how great they were. I felt like they were honest, straightforward and dealt with me really fairly throughout the whole thing which I appreciated so much.

Parks managed the sale of my terraced property in Easton. I chose them because of the positive reviews I read from venders and buyers and they were excellent.
Amelia provided an accurate evaluation and highly competitive rate. Good photography and particulars, Throughout it's time on the market i was very well informed of viewings, feedback, and about changes to the turbulent market effecting it's evaluation. Staff were always highly professional and always on the ball, particularly Steve, who owned the channel of communication between myself and the first time buyers from their first viewing through to completion through various complications.

Parks was the vendor's agent for a house in Redfield which I've recently exchanged on. The team there has been very professional in all aspects, and provided regular and comprehensive updates throughout the process. I imagine they got annoyed with the amount of times I was hassling them for updates, but it never showed, ha! As it's my first house purchase, they set out everything very clearly which certainly made things easier.

These guys are very experienced in the area. I first bought in BS5 in 2005. Having dealt at that time with numerous estate agents, I found Parks to be the friendliest and most consistently professional (many other places at the time had very inexperienced staff on at the weekend, the only times I was able to view - I've never gone into Parks and felt like I was talking to someone who didn't have a grip on the function of the business and their clients). Although I wasn't able to buy through them at the time (house was marketed elsewhere), it was for this reason that I chose to establish a professional relationship with them in 2013 and I've not been disappointed since. Everyone I've dealt with at Parks has been courteous and friendly and when you really need someone to help you get something done, they've been on it. Experienced, professional, reliable and trustworthy. Exactly what you need in this business.

These guys will try and sell you anything..
Agent tried selling me a house with serious structural problems and said it was 'perfectly normal for a house of this age!' The young lad then contested the Structural Engineer's report?
If I hadn't got a structural report and stuck to the recommendations I would have lost a lot of money.
To be fair I think they did the good thing in the end and made other buyers aware of the problems I found at my own expense.
