P&F have been the letting agents for my flat in Ramsbottom for over 10 years. Caroline and the team are very professional and friendly and dealt with problems swiftly and efficiently as they arise. They found very suitable tenants quickly so the flat was never without a tenant for more than a week or two.
More recently I sold the flat through Tom & Nyreen. Tom found a buyer within 2 weeks and Nyreen very efficient and diligently dealt with all party's solicitors and complexities of third party lease extension in the mix. Completely unphased and relentless until the sale was over the line. I can't recommend them enough, would use them again in a heart beat! Thanks again, Kim

Excellent service! Everybody I dealt with was very friendly, helpful and professional. Julian came to value our house quickly, and it was on the market within a couple of days. I mainly dealt with Nyreen, and she was superb; always very helpful, calm and reassuring. Nyreen went above and beyond coordinating everyone involved in the sale, and keeping the whole process moving forwards. Highly recommended, and I would definitely use Pearson Ferrier again.

We've had a fantastic experience with Pearson Ferrier, from start to finish. Julian provided us with a realistic valuation, and it was clear from the outset he has complete faith in his staff, which gives a really positive vibe. All involved remained professional and friendly throughout the process. Our main negotiations were carried out by Nyreen, who was a pleasure to deal with. Her experience and calm, relaxed nature ensured our stress was kept to a minimum.

We had a number of agents come to give us a price for our house, and all of them under valued the property by around 10-15%. When we met Julian from Pearson Ferrier, he spent time with us to talk through the price and area as well as giving us his background and experience. We agreed on what the sale price should be and within 7 days we received and accepted an offer at asking. The service was really personal and if I ever need to sell a property in the area again then I would have no doubt where to go.

I was pressured by Leah to sell the house quickly and despite being unhappy with the offer, I was pushed by her to sell the house because 'it's been on the market for 3 months'. I should have resisted because the buyer of my house sold the house two years later for £45,000 more. Still can't stomach the fact that we sold the house way below what we wanted. This was in 2015.

My experience with Pearson Ferrier has once again been extremely positive. They secured a new tenant for my house in Ramsbottom within a couple of days from going on the market. Chris Hall is the person I deal with over at their Ramsbottom office and I have always found him to be professional and personable and nothing is too much trouble for him. I cannot recommend this person and Pearson Ferrier more highly.

The phone and email contact was good. Nyreen was pleasant and professional. So this feedback does not relate to her. However, unfortunately her colleauge Julian has let the team down when it comes to customer service.
If you are considering selling your house with this agent please be aware that the estate agent, Julian, who we 'showed' a house by had absolutely zero selling skills, communication skills or customer service. He stood outside on the driveway during the viewing and made no attempt to build a rapport, or talk about the property.
My husband arrived a few minutes early to an appointment, I arrived at the time of the appointment. Julian the estate agent tried to rush my husband to look at the bungalow before I arrived. When I arrived (on time) he didn't greet me, introduce himself, tell me anything about the property and in no way attempted to sell it. He was just the key holder standing on the driveway. No attempt to build rapport. It gave a very bad impression of the estate agents company and we have been to quite a few viewings with other estate agents in the area whose customer service was top notch. I even asked him if he was the vendor as I left, as I thought he surely wouldn't be so rude if he were attempting to sell the property. I feel very sorry for the owners, as the agent was not acting on their behalf at all. We were in and out in 5 minutes, so there was no need for him to rush us for the next client that was due 10 minutes later...
If you are considering selling I would recommend you look at some of my other reviews, which highlight the agents that present much better qualities and values in their conduct during viewings. Just something to consider when your choosing your agent.
Also, just as an idea of the customer service, check out the review replies. It gives a clear idea of the passive aggressive tone as a company (I believe Julian is an owner looking at the previous reviews). For example, check out the reply to 'James Rogers' review where the owner consistently advises 'if it were me..' or 'perhaps it's just me...'. From my experience, and reading their review replies, their values as a company unfortunately are unprofessional and they don't handle critique in an adult mature fashion. Reading their customer review responses gives a clear indication as to this ethos.
Response to Julian's reply: You have unfortunately proven my point with regards to a passive aggressive tone, and unnecessary personal insult. In no way have I alluded to my own faults, you are correct in your assertion that we all have our faults. But to suggest I am sanctimonious for calling you out on your poor behaviour only adds further injury to your own public perception and that of your company. As I said in my original review, you seem to find it difficult to reflect on feedback in a mature fashion. And for some reason, you have demonstrated that perfectly in your response...
We all get given feedback from time to time. In this instance, your role was as an agent for the vendor. You did them a dis-service, and I wanted to highlight this.. It is a shame that as a company owner you set such a negative tone and cannot develop and reflect on feedback.
I wonder if you might take a leaf out of your colleague's books, and work on your customer service skills. My husband and I have had lots of experiences where we haven't been shown around a property because of Covid, and that part was not the gist of the feedback. You made no attempt to talk the property up, or even welcome us. We were an inconvenience to you.
I fear you are missing the whole point of the review. That your demeanour and customer service skills were lacking. Your behaviour made us feel uncomfortable, unwelcome and rushed. When we were on-time and friendly with you. As I said, I was shocked you were the agent, as your behaviour was so incongruous with the idea of selling a property.

Communication has been excellent and the move to our new home has been well supported and has allowed the move to transition seamlessly. Wholly recommend this branch. Just to echo my wife's comments really on how rude Julian was yesterday with our rental viewing. I had pushed for a 9.30 Viewing with the lettings office but was told in fact it would need to be 9.15 so had no choice but to agree or risk not seeing the property. We arrived at 9.19 after taking a wrong turn onto the street that runs parallel. Upon getting out of the car and giving a quick nod to Julian whilst I got my three year old out of the car and helped her put her coat on as it's quite cold this time of year and she is of course priority number one. As we headed towards the house I got an abrupt "let's crack on pal" from Julian before I had the chance to say hi or anything about being a tad late. Regardless of COVID restrictions it would have been nice to have been invited to look around and a simple "I'll wait outside" but nothing. Upon finishing viewing the property we didn't get a word as we exited the house, nothing about whether we liked it, wanted any info just a clear appetite to "crack on" and move onto another job which might pocket Mr Ferrier a few more pounds. I can't help but feel his rudeness might link back to choosing another agency to sell with earlier this year, despite having him come round to value the property, or perhaps I'm reading too much into it and he is simply just that rude all of the time.

My daughter and her partner recently left the UK for a two year contract in Australia. They decided to rent their home in Ramsbottom while away and engaged the services of their local Pearson Ferrier Agency.
I speak as I find and I have to say that the service they received from Chris and his team was exemplary. This was a short notice project and Chris managed to find the perfect tenants within the timescales and the whole process was managed very smoothly.
Subsequently, we're now two months in, everything is going well. What I particularly like is how responsive Chris is to requests for assistance and how helpful he has been in our first venture into the rental market.

Would not recommend using this company at all.
They lie continuously and try to rip you off.
Keep your wits about you with these slippery characters or you'll be out of pocket.

I would firstly like to say a huge thank you to Pearson Ferrier for everything!
We have rented a house from the Ramsbottom office, everybody we spoke to took the time to listen no matter how many questions we asked. They and gave us great advice with no pressure allowing us to make fully informed decisions. Staff were wonderful, genuinely concerned about finding the right property for the whole family and bent over backwards for us.
We're now settling in nicely, all very happy in our new home.

I'd recommend people avoid renting from these guys. They only show signs of activity when they want money. Emails and phone enquiries are otherwise generally ignored, and getting your deposit back (even though they're not disputing anything) can take an age. I'm now two emails (one to the manager) and five calls to the office later and still waiting three months on. Each time i'm told it would be sorted but nothing.

I am not at all surprised that Pearson Ferrier has no reviews. I generally only write a review when I have received an excellent service and want the service provider to know. In this case however I want people to know that they should never rent a property from Pearson Ferrier, the branch in Ramsbottom at least. The staff here need training in customer service. They have no level of empathy at all towards tenants in properties advertised through them. We rented a property through them and began to have problems with the landlady. During our tenancy we discovered that the previous tenants had also had problems with that landlady. Pearson Ferrier knew this and still rented the property to us with no qualms. Before moving out we received a report from Environmental Health at Rossendale Council outlining the reasons why the property we were in was not suitable for rental. We sent this report to Pearson Ferrier and to our disappointment, this property has gone straight back onto the rental market. They do not care that they are placing people in dangerous homes without fire escape routes and smoke detectors.
We have since found a home through another estate agents in Bury and the excellent service we received could not have been any more different to our experience with Pearson Ferrier. I hope people read this and think carefully about the level of service they receive when they first contact Pearson Ferrier. That is an indicator of the ongoing service they will have and probably the type of landlord they will end up with. Pearson Ferrier do not seem to care who they represent. Our initial impressions of Pearson Ferrier were not good as they lacked enthusiasm, respect and consideration but we presumed it was the nature of renting. However, since being able to compare with another estate agent we realise that is not the case and it is simply Pearson Ferrier.
