Over the last week Kerry our estate agent showed us around The Old Barn, Duddenhoe End. Kerry was friendly, informative, professional, very good at explaining and showing us all the major and minor points of the property. Kerry knew everything that we needed to know, anything additional we asked, Kerry was extremely efficient at coming back to us with the answers and swiftly. Both Oliver and Katie handled my sale exceptionally well. From the start, his approach was different to the others and as it turned out, far more effective than others would have been. It ended up being a long process from start to finish due to me being unable to find anywhere to move to. Oliver stuck with me and hit the ground running as soon as I did find something, to get the deal over the line in around 10 weeks from when solicitors were instructed, which is quite a feat when handling a flat sale and communication was easy throughout. Oliver helped us buy our first two houses when he worked for previous estate agents, and he was so knowledgeable, friendly and genuine, that when we saw he had set up on his own, we knew we wanted him and his team selling our house. We really liked Oliver’s evidence based approach, he knows all about the data around house sales in the area which was really useful and provided great insights around sale price etc. Oliver always kept us informed and updated during viewings and we found his more up to dates ways of communicating e.g having WhatsApp group, much easier for us to keep on top of communication whilst working full time (although he was always happy to talk on the phone or come round in person too!). Our sale wasn’t the smoothest (due to some choices we’d made, which delayed the whole process), but Oliver and Katie were brilliant keeping everyone calm and informed and being really understanding about the situation.
