I purchased a property that Remax Clydesdale Lanark were selling. Due to several issues the sellers had, (one of which was they were buying a property in England) My solicitors had sent various emails to the sellers solicitors without any response.I had the need for several conversations with these guys, as with no communication , it left me totally in the dark and wondering if I was going to have to withdraw from the purchase. Not knowing what is going on is probably one of the worst things you go through as a buyer or seller.Most sales go through within 6 - 8 wks , this was into the 10th.All the team that I spoke to at Remax helped in many ways giving great information, were understanding and were a reassuring link to the sellers commitment to selling and their problems. Without their interaction this sale could potentially have fallen through. Their communication was excellent from the first time I made contact with them, keeping me updated as things happened. The sale finally completed around 15 weeks after my offer was accepted, and I collected the keys from their offices in Lanark.... Read more
