I cannot speak highly enough of the service Redferns provided when selling my mother's flat. We were kept informed at every stage and John in particular bore the brunt of a challenging process with different buyers. Lee's valuation at the outset was fair and we were offered the full asking price. We are especially thankful for the 'above and beyond' approach (e.g. going round when the buyer's carpet fitters were measuring up, checking on reported issues for us, arranging for tradesmen) as we are not local and therefore not in a position to respond ourselves. We don't have another property in the area to sell but if we did wouldn't hesitate to use Redferns again.... Read more

Served a notice 21 and evicted us just so they could but the rent up. And then did everything they could to not pay back our deposit. Awful staff, left over remnants of morris lettings aka Pegasus lettings from sidmouth. Worst human beings i have ever met. Crooks all of them. They will just let thesleves in when ever they feel, if your home or not. Update 19th January. I jave been threatened to take down this review under physical violence. I refuse to do so. As to posting pictures, i am more then happy to share the same pictures i gave to the DSA who are revumy complaint about the return of my deposit. Which has now gone to a independent judge to review. Shocking communications from this branch. Rental viewing in Oct/Nov last year.. no update with regards to letting the property shortly after the viewing. Just ‘we will let you know’ answer. Then approximately 1 month past viewing date after chasing again, I found out that they were waiting for the council to sign off the properties in question. Don’t know why I wasn’t told this initially! The lady advised me that ‘this could take a week or months’ they weren’t sure. So I have left it until after Christmas to chase, 3 months post viewing to be told today that we were unsuccessful! No email or anything!! From start to finish the communication has been awful. If you are looking for a property to let and you use this branch, you will be certainly be doing all the chasing!... Read more
