An awfully run company. Wouldn’t give keys to a rental house because tenancy agreements hadn’t been signed, yet they only sent the documents out on the day of tenancy start date! Documents that should have been sent out months in advance. Furthermore, they said they’re still confirming if deposits and rent had been paid on the tenancy start date, even though this had been paid weeks in advance. Once documents had all been signed, by tenants and guarantors (all guarantors had to sign while at work and in meetings), they then told us they couldn’t confirm from head office because they were on their lunch breaks or in meetings, leaving us waiting for several hours by the house. Tenancy start date was already pushed back by a few days, which was not even stated in the tenancy agreement and remained as the original date. Constantly chasing them up via phone calls despite them telling us they’d contact us. Thankfully the last year i’m renting a student house.... Read more

Arranged for a viewing on 20th November, the agents called back and changed this to the 27th November. I stood outside the property for half an hour in the snow, and the agents did not turn up. No message was left on my phone and nobody would answer the phone in the office. There was no forwarding number. Really disappointed and feel bad for the seller who is completely unaware that they may have had a buyer but because of RMS's no-show they do not.... Read more

Then, during the latter stages, he maintained close contact with the mortgage provider to ensure everything fell into place for a transaction that had tight timelines.
