Cheapest around but perhaps I can see why. Maybe too many properties on the books so easily overlooked. They did an adequate job without excelling anywhere. Took a significant price drop to sell the property, well below their estimation.

When I instructed selective they were honest on price, the promotion of our home was good and viewings came through the door. Their communication was really good and we accepted an offer. We then had a delay on the sale through no fault of selective or ourselves, this delay felt like a life time, through all of this kaitlan and the rest of the team were there to support us. They chased for information, kept up in the loop all the way and listened to us. I was never ignored. All of the Redcar team were outstanding with an extra special mention to kaitlan, in sales progression, calm, professional and very kind. Luke thank you for listening to us rant and allowing us the time to do this another compassionate and kind team member. If you are selling your home, use Selective, excellent fixed price, excellent service but most of all wonderful, kind and compassionate staff.

The house sale in Redcar with Selectiv was fantastic from the very first phone call to the last
Everyone we either met, or spoke to was so helpful
and friendly and very professional.
We were kept up to date either relating to viewings, feedback, and later the sale of the house.
Both myself and my wife have sold numerous properties over the years with different agencies
but Selectiv have been by far the best.
I will certainly recommend to friends.

The first and second viewing was with Carol, who was incredibly helpful both times and experienced. My house sale took a long time due to unforeseen Circumstances. Caitlin kept the sellers of my new home reassured at all times, and kept me informed regularly. Always friendly, helpful and polite, nothing was to much trouble. Also considerate of desired time scales due to the complexities of coordinating moving a household where a person is in a wheelchair and on oxygen. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company with regards to property management, avoid at all costs.
Had a property managed by them for 11 months and received no rental statements in this time and only 3 payments even though the tenant has paid up to date.
Have called the office on numerous occasions and the person who can help is always out of the office.
I have no idea how they are still in business with such poor customer services!
THE ABOVE IS STILL ONGOING AND IS AS BAD AS EVER, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Poor experience overall. Would not recommend or ever use again. Property could have easily sold itself, but introduced to buyers who were nothing short of an absolute headache from beginning to end. Once buyers had been found, Selectiv acted like job done and had no interest in marketing further. Negotiating skills for me as a seller were non existent, all heavily loaded towards keeping the buyer happy. Back to the old adage you get what you pay for! Next time I’ll leave it to the professionals and give this shoddy outfit a wide berth.

Please, DO NOT USE Selectiv lettings. They will not call you back or communicate in any way, Speaking as a landlord, this Selectiv lettings will cause you so much pain and hassle to you, and to your tennant. Lied to and played against our tenant. The tenancy deposit is still being chased, and waiting for it to be transferred to the new agents. Taking legal action to resolve this and to claim losses incurred. Avoid at all costs. Robert, the owner will give excuse after excuse, and will not return your calls, emails or texts eventually. Avoid this company!

My name is Tutu. We had an appointment booked with their staff at 9.00 am today 19/07/23. I had to take taking time off work for this. I waited for 15 minutes and as no one showed up, I called thier office. They said the chap had gone to an emergency meeting and tried to call me, which I think is a lie. I feel let down. They wasted my time and money. I will go with another estate agent. Hopefully will find a better one than Selectiv. I don't even think they care about losing your business.

Just purchased our dream home last month. We spoke to Jordon throughout who was extremely friendly, reassuring and kept us updated throughout. Didn’t have to chase ONCE like other estate agents. We truly believe he personally made it all happen for us by going the extra mile in taking steps that he didn’t have too and for that we feel more grateful than he’ll ever know. Far more friendlier and down to earth than other estate agents which is what you need in a particularly stressful situation!

Absolutely brilliant estate agents. From dealing with Karen at the beginning, with having Rob doing our photos (which looked amazing) to then dealing with Jordan throughout the viewings and during the sell of our house and Nicola towards the end it has been fantastic. Jordan has kept me informed throughout, has even sold the fridge extra in the sale lol. Jordan has helped throughout the sale with every query and issue we've had and its been a pleasure dealing with everyone at selectiv.

One to avoid! They seem to lack the simple ability to communicate with their own sellers, yes the ones that have signed up to pay MASSIVE fees to sell a house. As for the buyers, well what can be said? Still waiting for calls to be returned, no response via email either. Clearly, the directors have lost complete focus on the company.
