In 2021 I purchased my current home via Taylor Engley who were the vendor's agent and I remember being very happy with the way they conducted the transaction on my side. Regular communication is key and they were very efficient with this. Because of a last minute glitch concerning my sale a delay was caused before I was in a position to exchange contracts yet Taylor Engley kept all parties informed and updated to convey best of intentions on my part to the vendor.
Because of this I decided to engage the same agency to handle the sale of my former letting property. I left it to Sarah from the Eastbourne office to advise me of valuation and once the house was cleared she visited to take photographs and made notes to prepare the sales particulars. That evening I was advised by them that everything was ready so they marketed the house the following day. Within five days I accepted an offer for the asking price having had around seven viewings. I have subsequently of course been told by various people how lucky I am for this to happen yet while I accept there is an element of good fortune attached to it, it is still in my view very much down to a correct valuation being arrived at and the marketing skill of Sarah and the team at Taylor Engley.
I have no hesitation in recommending them as a reliable and professional agency in what in Eastbourne is a highly competitive environment. I am very pleased with what they have achieved on my behalf.

After six months of looking, my partner and I found our perfect home thanks to Sarah and her amazing team at Taylor Engley. We were met by Karen on our first viewing, and we’re instantly impressed by her experience and knowledge, she was able to answer all our question and was quick to find answers to those she was unsure of.
Sarah’s genuine care for our success in buying the house was truly appreciated, she kept us informed throughout and went out of her way to keep us in the loop whilst negotiating our offer, even calling us on her day off to put our minds at rest.
Once our offer was accepted Lorraine stepped in, she really is quite the brilliant sales progressor and managed to get us to completion within two months of our offer being accepted. Even our solicitor commented on Lorraine’s diligence. She constantly checked in with us to make sure things were progressing as they should, gently reminding us to contact our surveyor and solicitor to ensure things were moving along.
I can honestly say the whole team at Taylor Engley genuinely care about their clients, bearing in mind they weren’t working for us but for the vendor, we felt they looked after us throughout the entire process. They have a great group of people who clearly work together to get results for their clients.

Despite viewing the property 3 times, plus going back when the surveyor was present, the agents were accommodating and very professional and friendly. Everyone at the agents responded quickly to any queries I had but notably Lorraine must be mentioned as the person who stayed focused and nudged everyone in my chain along, to completion. Completion was fraught because of bank failures on the day, however the agents kept the momentum going well after closing time on the end of the month Friday closing hours. For that I am so grateful and very appreciative.

The sale was achieved in very difficult circumstances – during the second lockdown, dealing with parties shielding or unable to travel to help. Neil was imaginative and always willing to help in dealing with issues as they arose. Neil was pro-active in making sure everything was in place and keeping us informed at every stage.
Neil and his team were always professional and efficient but also kind and sensitive to our particular circumstances. We were delighted with our decision to use Taylor Engley.

My Aunt and I called in to Taylor Engley offices in Hailsham on the off chance as she was looking to view properties either to buy or rent in Hailsham.
Sarah was very helpful and at short notice arranged 2 viewings which were carried out by her colleague Sadie.
We were impressed throughout by the positive can-do attitude, excellent communications, and professional approach of both ladies.

I enquired on a property via Zoopla to view. I didn’t receive any correspondence so I called the next day. Spoke to someone who told me they would call me back to arrange an appointment. 24 hours later still no call so I call again to find out a property has been sold.

Recent was going to sell my house and went to Taylor Engley in Eastbourne, and they have been fantastic, note your normal image we have of Estate Agents, the are a small unit of friendly staff and always welcoming, and polite when I popped in the office and had time for me. Keeping me informed with all to do with the sale of my house and at all times working hard trying to sell and managed to get many offers,some good , some bad, which they gave me good advice on. At the end I decided not to sell, and after I got a printed list of what had been done to try and sell my house, I was shocked how much hard work they had done, which I send a Big Thanks, I certainly recommend them.
P..s I bought my house of them a few years ago and had great service with them then.
