Taylor's seemed to be ok at first but I feel they messy about quite a lot when it comes to houses. I appreciate they need to make money and commission but twice I entered bids on a house which the estate agents said they should take then they ring me saying they have gone with someone else because of the deposit which I'm confused by as that doesn't affect getting the mortgage. I already have a deposit etc.
feel like I've been messed about. I personally won't be using these guys for my next house/ mortgage as I don't feel it's been 100% professional but that's not to say it's all bad they done well for others.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour.<br>We had arranged to travel down from Oxfordshire to view a property, booked time off work, left early, booked accommodation and of course excited. However when we arrive I open my messages only to be told they had cancelled the viewing!<br>So I’m angry, my wife and daughter upset. This is not the way you treat people.<br>Not even a phone call a cowardly message.

My property was listed with Taylors for 6 months. In that time i had 2 viewings on my property with limited constructive feedback. The photos of the outside of my property made it look like a prison block and so I provided my own photo. I also sent photos of the back garden which were never uploaded.
I did receive monthly feedback about the market. The photos of the inside of my house were excellent. When I viewed other properties the agents were on time and courteous.
Taylors were slow to remove my property from the market after notice was served.

I have to say that Taylors have been outstanding throughout my purchase, even when a property that we was initially purchasing fell through, Debbie would call every week for an update or to see how things were progressing with finding another property. Don't go with this incompetent firm. I feel children can do better. Never managed to sell but then sent people over when the contract was up. Made a mistake on sending the same name on 2 different times. Then, was it easy to say we don't want them, no. Contract given, no. 20 weeks to stay on. Taylors in paignton found a buyer for our house very quickly, the handling of the sale then switched to the torquay office where the staff chased the sale through, I have never encountered a sales team this efficient, they kept me regularly updated and were in constant touch with the buyer to help push the sale through.

We have recently sold our house and purchased our new home both with Taylors and what an amazing experience we have had with the team! We first had a viewing of our new home with Paula who went above and beyond to ensure that the house would be ours by getting Leo out to us the following morning to get our house on the market (as we hadn’t expected to find our dream home so quickly) and by the following day Ciera had it online! Within less than 24 hours our house had been offered on and our offer was accepted! The sale and purchase were then moved into the hands of Jodie in the sales progression team, who made the whole process so stress free by giving us frequent updates and making me feel that nothing was ever too much trouble. 12 weeks later and we are in our new home settling in for Christmas!<br>Thank you to all of you at Taylors, you come very highly recommended from us!

5 STAR!!<br>Unfortunately I made the mistake of going to another agent who was only interested in their money and wasn’t acting in my interest but the buyer!!!<br>I can’t believe the difference when I went with Taylor’s, from the start Leo came to do a valuation and didn’t rush me with me whaffling! then the communication when Donna, Darcy and Jodie rung to book viewings making sure it was convenient and immediately sent a confirmation email then a text message prior to the viewings and an email feedback quickly.<br>Harrison and Jude did the viewings and were always very respectful and polite.<br>I had a call from Jodie congratulating me on exchange.<br>Everyone at Taylor’s has been amazing, fantastic communication, very professional and friendly, nothing was too much bother from all of the team! although everyone was amazing I want to say a massive thank you to Paula and Debbie. Paula initially dealt with people Offering on my property. I sold 3 times, the previous two times the buyers pulled out! Paula rung me at 6.50pm after working hours to tell me rather than wait until the next day and was so emphatic! When I sold the third time and progressed Debbie took over and again ringing me out of office hours and even trying sort issues out numerous times on her days off!! Taylors sales progression is second to none. Debbie in the Torquay office was so helpful in chasing up solicitors, other agents etc in order to progress our sale. We had about 6 different completion dates and Debbie kept us fully informed every day for the last 2 weeks before completion of why things were being delayed or changed. On the rare occasions she was out of the office, she made sure others were up to speed with what was going on in our long chain, so they could communicate with us. The whole process from start to finish couldn’t have been more straightforward, from Sam who took my sale instruction, Jensen who showed me around the property I wanted to purchase, Leo who negotiated my deals, both sale and purchase, and the brilliantly tenacious Jody my sales progressor, I think I spoke with Jody more than I spoke to my children! The whole process took 67 days, start to finish…<br>All of the staff there are working to one script and one goal which is very refreshing. And they all do it very well. I had Jon Norton around to do a valuation from the Paignton branch, he under valued my property greatly and used a racist saying as a metaphor, he clearly had no idea what the saying truly meant. I used Taylors in 2017 and Leo was great but after Jon's insult and 1970's mindset I would never use them again.

This Agent was unreliable, inefficient and ineffective. There was only one viewing during a 12 week term of engagement and the property was clearly unsuitable for them. I complained about the lack of communication because my messages were persistently ignored, including my request to cease marketing, even leaving it on Rightmove for 20 days after the end of the 12 weeks, by which time it was with another agency. I consider the time I was with them to have been not only wasted but, to my dismay, house prices fell too.

The service I received from all the staff at Taylor’s was excellent. Debbie, in particular, was absolutely fantastic. She always kept in touch every week and, despite hold ups and difficulties, she never gave up working on my behalf. The agent came to value the property at the time agreed and was friendly but professional in his approach. He actually valued the property quite a lot higher than I thought it was worth, but I went with his professional judgement. The agents fee for selling the house was a fixed fee only to be taken when the house was sold and very reasonable.
Draft particulars were drawn up within a matter of days and the house was put on the market very quickly. I was more than happy with the photographs and descriptions of the property.
Taylor's generated a lot of viewings and kept me informed regularly of how things were going by email and telephone. They took prospective buyers around the house and I did not need to do anything in that respect.
Within a month a cash buyer had been found for the property, who offered a little below the asking price, but much more than what I was expecting to get. The whole sale was completed very smoothly within 8 weeks from valuation to exchange of contracts.
I am very happy with Taylor's handling of the sale and would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.
