We had a great experience selling our flat with Tilson and Spencer. We dealt with Ky initially when we came on board and then Reyon dealt with viewings and the sale. Both of them are exceptionally friendly and calm and Reyon was always helpful and efficient in responding throughout the sale. The attitude and ethos of this agent feels like they are decent and fair. We would really recommend considering them over some of the more well known franchises.

We recently sold our flat with Tilson & Spencer. It was a help to buy flat with a number of contractual sales restrictions which made it a somewhat complex sale and a fairly long process. We worked mainly with Reyon and Kynan and they were both excellent professionals throughout and a real pleasure to deal with. We really felt like they were on our side and working for us to get the best deal. They were amazingly friendly and helpful, and also creative with coming up with ways to progress the sale. They were super responsive, and would also answer emails out of hours (not that we expected this at all, but we always got quick answers). They're also just genuinely nice guys.
I can't recommend them enough and would use them again in a heartbeat.

As exciting as it is to start a new chapter and move into a new home – packing up and selling your current one really isn’t. Especially when you have kids, too. It’s intense. Big and unsettling decisions need to be made and once they have, the constant air of uncertainty becomes a normality.
The trick is to ‘partner up’ with an estate agent like Tilson & Spencer and specifically Kynan, who ran the show – and your whole experience will become way less scary. Sharp, friendly, knowledgeable and refreshingly informal. From start to finish.

Tilson and Spencer is an amazing estate agent that goes above and beyond for their clients. I had to do a probate sell which was already very stressful and upsetting. But from when I signed up with Tilson and Spencer and had Re'yon as my sales negotiator everything just started to fall into place. I appreciated my calls and emails being responded to in a timely manner, offers of support to move processes forward with solicitors, councils, buyers etc and how respectfully and professionally it was all done. We have recently purchased our dream home via this estate agency, who also ended up selling my property- as unfortunately my buyer pulled out last minute and we was left in despair and could not proceed with our purchase. I then instructed Ky from Tilson and Spencer to market our property. Ky promptly send his photographer and the following week our property was back on the market. On the same day it was advertised, Ky arranged a viewing with a potential buyer. Who was already registered with his estate agency (this proved to me that he really pays attention to his clients requirements) Unbelievably after the viewing, an offer was made! Which we happily accepted. This meant that we could now continue with our purchase.
The reason why I was compelled to write a review was because our experience and communication throughout the purchase and sale was absolutely outstanding. Ky was always prompt to respond to my emails and enquiries. Ky's dedication was truly incredible and without his ongoing support, I do not believe that our purchase would have progressed. He is honestly the top in his field and he most definitely goes above and beyond for his clients. So thank you Ky, we will never not forget your commitment- as you really do stand out from the rest!

Having lived in my home for nearly 34 years l was naturally quite apprehensive about making the neccessary move to down-size and move into property with one-floor living.
I approached Tilson and Spencer as l had heard they were an up and coming, dynamic, professional estate agents who know the Tottenham area well. I approached them; l was happy with what they offered and l easily reached the decision to put my beloved house on the market with Tilson and Spencer.
Darryl was the estate agent allocated to work with me and he was absolutely brilliant. I cannot fault him in anyway. He understood my anxieties about moving and walked me through the process, gave me constructive advice and showed me empathy and understanding during the periods where l was crying or upset.
What l thought would be a 12-13 week process more than doubled due to hitches within the chain. Throughout this period remained calm, accessible and responsive. If it wasn't for Darryl l would have pulled out of the process; he literally kept me going right through to the finishing line which was.................yesterday!! He was an absolute star and l cannot thank him enough.

hello my name is Sam, I have recently bought a property through Tilson & Spencer and suddenly I regretted that because once I got the keys of the property I noticed that one of the white goods is not working, before I bought the property I have paid a surveyor to carry out the survey, it was notice that there was an issue with electrical system, so it’s need an upgrade on the electrical system and provide a test certificate, the state agent that was representing the vendor sent me an e-mail confirming that everything was rectified, but as I said above once I got the keys of the property I found out the problem whit the white goods. I contacted the state agent but I regretted that because they are unprofessional and unworthy of the time wasted chasing to fix the issue.
I strongly suggest to be aware of their behaviour and check everything before you commit with them or find a different solution.

I was looking for weeks for a larger place to move into, and it was becoming quite a hopeless situation in North London to be honest, to the extent that I felt other factors could have been at play as to why it was taking so long. I viewed property after property, made offers, saw dingy places and often there was little in the way of responses from the majority of estate agents in North London in my humble opinion. Tilson and Spence got in touch with me and stated that there were in fact 2 properties they could show me - both of them were well-kept, clean and large. I made an offer, met the landlord (who was also excellent) and all sorted. Bambos, one of the members of staff, was superb and helpful and hence I would recommend them with no qualms whatsoever.

Everything about using Tilson & Spencer to eventually selling the property was first class from the word go. I needed guidance about what to do with property after I had it as a rental for about 18 years and lost touch of what was going on in the property market in that time.
Kynan the Director who I initially met was completely unassuming, very professional and gave me excellent guidance about the property market from all angels. He was extremely knowledgeable not only about the area in which my property was located but also about London and indeed the property market as a whole. He could see that I had to make some serious decisions and at every point he was able to guide me without overbearingly rushing me.
He was able to for instance advice on how much to spend on renovation to let verses renovation to sell, why I should let again instead of selling now etc. his knowledge about all sectors of the housing market was second to none.
When I eventually decided to sell, Kynan accepted my decision graciously and when he agreed not to handle my business on the Sabbath he found that it greatly benefited him as he was able to find an alternative way to market the property that worked perfectly for me. This showed that he respected my wishes. He was attentive to the little detail for instance I was concerned about how the property would be photographed and when he told me not to worry I would be happy with the photos he was indeed right. Darryl who handled the sale was very professional and friendly. The property sold above the asking price thanks to their professionalism.
The office environment was also a lovely bright modern pleasing space to be in. All in all I have no reservations in recommending Tilson & Spencer to sell, rent or manage your property base on my experience with doing business with them.

We did some pretty good research before choosing Tilson and Spencer and took the advice of an estate agent friend and went with local knowledge and enthusiasm coupled with data about who was successfully selling properties like ours.
Kynan from Tilson and Spencer knew the area and knew what people were looking for and gave us excellent advice throughout. He was open to suggestions but firm when he needed to be and our property sold very quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Would really recommend!! Kynan and Bambos at Tilson and Spencer are so enthusiastic and so attentive. Their communication was really excellent throughout a long and complicated sale of our flat. They always checked in with us and told us what was going on. We met with a few different agents and they really stood out as the most helpful and genuinely enthusiastic about the flat and area, which then rubbed off on potential buyers. Would definitely use again!

What a refreshing experience! An estate agent that is friendly, honest and goes that extra mile! All the staff were extremely helpful and our agent, Kynan, was always available. He was so helpful and attentive and such a nice guy! I feel like I have friends in the area now! They all have a fundamentally solid knowledge of the local area and are passionate about it too. The team from Tilson & Spencer agency are the most caring people that you would dream to have as your agency! They are attentive to the client needs and for me and my daughter the team had gone beyond all expectations! They were the most supportive team of agents to solve paper work and references - simple and with no bureaucracy.

This agency does not have 5 stars for no reason...they are honestly the best..especially Kynan !! I rented my flat through T&S 2 years ago and honestly never met in my life a friendlier agent than Kynan..these guys do a great job and deserve every penny they get..I am leaving my borough now so obviously T&S will not be my agent anymore but just wanted to give them a great review before I say goodbye and hopefully one day I can work with them again..wish them a successful business for life...thanks guys x

Kynan is a real genuine guy. Really helpful service. Always answers calls and emails promptly. He keeps his word. And they were very patient with us despite a long and stressful process with multiple hiccups. They helped us multiple times when we were struggling to get into contact with the seller. Kynan was everything we hoped for in an estate agent when buying a property in the area. Helpful, friendly and engaging without ever coming across as pushy. On several occasions, Ky went that bit further to help us out - making sure he returned our calls even if it was late in the day, responding to emails on his day off, acting quickly and conscientiously in response to our queries etc. Compared to other estate agents from other local firms that we encountered when looking for a property, he is miles ahead in terms of professionalism, demeanor and helpfulness.

I juste sold my flat with Tilson & Spencer.
It had been on the market for nearly 8 months before I came across their agency.
As I couldn’t seem to sell the flat, I switched to this local agency as a « last resort ».
Within 2 days I had a very strong & serious offer that I accepted. From then on, the whole process has been so smooth & efficient.
Kynan, who runs the agency, has been very helpful, professional & proactive all along. He has made the process, dare I say, enjoyable for me who is really not very clued up about those transactions

Tilson & Spencer is a local estate agent with a wealth of knowledge of Tottenham and the local area. Kynan has advised us on the potential of our property and found us a right buyer in a very short time. Our flat was sold within two weeks. Kynan was extremely efficient in keeping us updated, which made the communications between parties as easy as it could be. In this hugely stressful time he managed to keep us calm and re-assured. He has a network of satellite businesses (solicitors, photographer etc) needed for the sale of the property to go as smoothly as it can. He also does his research thoroughly and manages to match the right buyer with the right property.
