After reading the views, I agree, a lady their very rude brushes off anything you ask her or say to her, a man their who has no clue about the houses and offers made on them, I waited 2 weeks after placing an offer and I chased them almost every single day for an answer to be told in the end the owner has accepted an offer and nothing can be done, as the solicitors have been instructed, which to me sounds like this person was allocated to having the houses from ages ago, I didn’t even get the option to counter offer or even say I’m willing to pay the asking price, ridiculous and unfair…. Avoid this estate agent not worth it…..... Read more

Agree with the other negative reviews below I spoke to a member of staff today, an older lady, she was so rude. I was talking and she kept talking over me, she cancelled my viewing after telling me I can view and then they tell me it's been taken, why do they give viewings to people, why don't they allow everyone to view first and then select someone, absolute timewaster. Rude!!, another member of staff needs to be working there. Get rid.... Read more

Very disappointed with the service. Viewed a property with these guys after giving an offer I was told I will be contacted via post. Two weeks went past but didn’t receive anything, so I decided to call the office. After speaking to agent I was told that the house is under offer. I don’t understand why I wasn’t informed of this as initially instructed. I believe something isn’t right with these guys and vendors don’t get to see all the offers on the table from buyers. I was thoroughly disgusted with the way I was treated. The agreement said they would show prospective purchasers around they showed one couple around I showed the remainder around. They did not once ring and let me know how things were going I did all the chasing. I would think twice about recommending them I think because you signed their agreement they can treat you like s t. We have rented through Tom Giles estate agents for 4 years and sadly parted ways this week as we have moved to a bigger property. I can not recommend them enough. Going through a new agent now the comparison is like night and day and we only truly realised how thorough, professional and friendly they are when we dealt with our new agents. Jules is very helpful and Simon always has given us good advice that is in the best interest of us not like other companies that seem to give you advice that only gives them a gain. Quite an extraordinary and wholly unsatisfactory, frustrating experience. Despite accepting a below market offer for a quick sale six months ago, I still have no idea when my property sale will reach completion through these agents. Multiple people (agents) involved since the start and limited service continuity, suggests high staff turnover and/or lack of capacity. Poor communication at the partner level (almost none, you have to do the running yourself if you want an update) and the fees are unjustifiable. I cannot recommend.... Read more

We were offered a 'Sole selling rights' agreement which is the most restrictive of all types of estate agent contracts. Despite assurances from the agent we were unhappy with the wording of the Agreement and clauses. We followed the agents complaints policy and the agent resolved the issue to our satisfaction, so the issue has now been resolved which is a sign of a proffessional agent. The agent is a member of the Property Ombudsman which provides a framework for standards which is also reassuring as a client.... Read more
