This Estate Agent is without question the very worst I have dealt with in the 30 years I have been buying, selling and letting properties. Communication is dreadful, telephones not answered, messages and emails not responded to and when contact is established a general lack of knowledge and expertise is demonstrated - but more concerning was the lack of trust they generated because of what I believe to be their self interest to combine all of their products to a sale such as brokering a mortgage, insurance etc. It appeared to me that this branch and probably all Paul Dubberley Estate Agents were behaving in exactly the way the Panorama programme exposed when they sent an undercover journalist to work in one of the parent company offices (Connells). I eventually achieved the sale of a property by talking directly to a prospective buyer and directing Paul Dubberley to accept the offer. Paul Dubberley stated that they were almost certain that the sale would not complete as the buyer could not obtain a mortgage through their brokerage. The buyer obtained a mortgage from elsewhere and completed without any issues! I raised my concerns with a Regional Manager and was advised that they were not favouring those prospective buyers who were obtaining a mortgage via them (so that they obtain the commission fee) - but I stated I found that hard to believe given the circumstances. I was offered a small reduction in the selling fee as compensation and accepted that.
This was not a good experience - and certainly not one to be repeated! BEWARE.

Overall a great experience selling my property through PD Great Bridge. I put my property on the market with Nicky middle of May and it sold within days. Erik took over the sale and kept me well informed on any updates and processes that he could, as I felt I was getting no or incorrect information from the solicitor I used (company recommended through Paul Dubberley).
Nicky and Erik were lovely, friendly, personable and supportive. Always ready to take on my concerns and assist as best they could.

I signed up with PD in May. For about 10 months, we had almost no viewings (one offer way below asking price) so I decided to terminate the agreement. Interestingly, right after I requested to end the the contract, viewings suddenly started. It felt clear that this was only because they were afraid of losing a client. So my advice is: if you want to work with PD, go ahead - but be prepared to chase them if you expect genuine effort on their part.

Called up yesterday with a bit of an unusual request where I expected a lot of hurdles and issues. My call was answered by a lovely woman called Shannon who was empathetic to my situation, told me she would do everything she could to resolve my request and would call me back as soon as she had news. Within the hour she had got everything in place, put me in touch with the right people, and was incredibly friendly and polite throughout. Very pleased with the service I got!

I would have gave this place a 0 star!! I approached the rental department to find me tenants for my property. I trusted this company as this is what they are professionals in. This agent miserably failed to do the proper checks on the tenants. The tenants they approved stopped paying the rent after 2 months of moving in.The tenants this company approved have NO respect for my property. Ive had to take the tenants to court for possession of property, which has cost me thousands. I’ve had sleepless nights, anxiety and bought on a lot of stress. DO NOT use this agents!! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

As a first time buyer, the information and support provided around options and the process at each stage helped me understand clearly. I only used the in house solicitors, but would have continued with the in house adviser after the initial meeting had I not already had one externally. Not a good experience. Was looking to rent a property. Explained from the first instance and even wrote on the application form that I was a part-time student and my income is made up of student finance, grants and wages from a part-time job combined. Before sending my holding deposit I asked if student finance was an accepted source of income, to which Isabelle responded “ we’ll have to see what happens during referencing.” During referencing it came back that Student Finance is not an acceptable source of income and I did not get my deposit back. They then tried to put the blame on me saying that I did not disclose that I received student finance, despite me asking if it was an acceptable source of income beforehand as-well as me writing it on my application form and having numerous conversations over the phone with Isabelle about this. Complete waste of time and money.

We sold a house with Paul Dubberley and they were fantastic. Whatever could have gone wrong did, coal mine reports, last minute hick ups. But Nicky and Keanu were brilliant and basically sold the house twice over whilst keeping us fully informed and giving us options to consider. We have property for a years, however last 3 days since 21st December, I trying contact in emergencies situation, we have boiler gone, no heating no hot water at property for 3 days on the row. Keep calling to Connell that is also dealing with paulduberley keep me redirected calls, paulduberley great bridge office not picking they calls for 3 days.
I am paying for the rent £900 a month and on this situation when I am with my daughter has been going through disaster, keep asking my neighbor to borrow electric heater to keep our self’s over the night warm.
I wouldn’t recommend to deal with those in future anymore. I am sorry but in such as situations you must at least get back to my calls and left voicemails

The communication is poor due to understaffing. We used their tenant find service and they got it wrong first and nearly let property to a person in Scotland who was a specialist in sub-letting and the on second attempt found us a tenant. They collected the deposit and first month's rent and have not paid our monies over to us after 2 months. Currently commencing legal proceedings. We would not use this company again and would advise landlords to avoid them . Very disappointed.

We had a few delays along the way.. through no fault of Paul Dubberley but Nicky always kept us aware of the situation & we always knew what was going on - she always tried her hardest to get things completed as quickly as they needed to be and pushed people who needed to be!????
She always returned phone calls & emails.. even when sometimes there was nothing to report but so we were aware of what was going on.
We had consistent communication between ourselves, the seller & solicitors.
When Nicky was away, we had regular communication with other team members and they were also very helpful.

Booked to view property 57 gospel oak road on 5th October. I had to cancel a few tasks in work to make this viewing and drove for 45 mins to get there, only to find no one is there to meet us for the viewing. After waiting half hour We went to the office to speak to someone and all they said was ‘oh sorry’ we’ll look into it. Rubbish staff and management by the looks of it.

Absolutely disgraceful first experience! I arranged to view a property that I was keen on buying, As soon as we opened the door we were hit buy a strong smell of cannabis! OK so that could be be solved with some elbow grease? Then after doing a bit of research on Facebook, found the the property had obviously been used for drug dealing by the previous tenants? What an utter waste of time. I responded to them and heard nothing back of course!

I found him condescending and very pushy towards me. On the day I was to get my keys I was waiting in my car for 4 hours. I would not want anyone to go through what I did. I was having a lot of trouble securing a mortgage due to the nature of my work , Anthony Brooks , mortgage advisor , couldn't have helped me more , sorted my mortgage and insurances out , made the whole transaction " pain free " , explaining everything along the way so I was always aware of what was happening at every stage of the process . communication was top .
