Ben acted as my estate agent after using a larger firm from Lincoln, who clearly weren't bothered or motivated and didn't listen to instruction and failed me.
Walters produced a professional sales brochure and was happy to tweak if needed. They are happy to work as a team yet independently with common sense when needed.
Ben was personable and professional with an unusual property to sell. As predicted it wasn't the quickest sale but after the first flurry and then a little nudge, Ben was back on it and secured the sale of my Dads bunglow.
He was always reachable and as a smaller family firm I m guessing each sale is important for them too. This didn't mean he was therefore happy to sell at any price like his competitors. He worked in my best interest, and I felt advised well and I would happily recommend for any other clients to trust him to do the same for them.
I don't blow smoke and am very honest with feedback. (Hence not naming the bigger firm)
Pay that little bit more to get a far better service.
Thank you Ben and team, i hope you know how much it meant to me to be able to trust in you particularly with other things happening around me.

I really can’t recommend Walter’s enough, they are approachable, professional and extremely efficient. We’ve recently bought our first home through them, and having worked in the industry previously, they are the best agents I’ve experienced. Tom and the whole team have been so amazing through what has been a very long and difficult process due to solicitors. He was always able to calm me down when things were getting stressful, and was so good at keeping me updated at all times. Everyone in the sales team have helped me through this and whoever I spoke to always knew what was going on and were able to get me the answers I needed. Nothing was too much to ask. We will 100% be selling through Walter’s when the time comes!

This has been my first experience of taking an agent arranged let and I've been through the mill with many agents. Holly though has been superb throughout and restored my faith in the agent/tenant relationship. My first viewing was cancelled as the property was let before I arrived to view it, but I was kept well informed by the office. Whilst I was happy with the second, Holly recognised that I wasn’t 100% happy and suggested an alternative where she would be conducting viewings later in the day. Despite her appointment book being full, Holly arranged to arrive a little earlier in order for me to see it. I cannot thank her enough as this turned out to be perfect for me. Since then, Holly has steered me through the referencing process, kept me up to date and cheerfully answered all my questions. I cannot recommend Holly and Northwood highly enough. Everyone in the team have been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional in their approach. Both the lettings team and then the sales team were always accessible and easy to contact, I was kept up to date with the progression of the sale and felt they pushed the sale to its conclusion, without their efforts it would have been a much slower process.

I've been left without heating in my living/Bedroom since may. Sometimes the temperature in my living area has been close to freezing. My flat has had nothing done or refreshed in the 2.5 yrs I have lived here. The extremely low EPC rating has nothing to improve it even though there are grants etc which the property may be eligible for.
Top this is off all residents have received a threating letter regarding eviction due to antisocial behaviour in which apparently the police have been involved with. This letter has caused me great anxiety especially in this current climate. If the police have been involved then they will know exactly which resident the letter should be aimed rather than causing distress to all residents. I have always kept my place qs nice a possible, give consideration to all neighbours and never missed a rent payment only to be treated like this

Very disappointed, booked appointment to view house, no. agent turned up. Called told that agent had tyre pressure issues, but on way. then still no attendance called again now 35 minutes late. Told home sold and not booked in, this after 2.5 hour drive to view.

From start to finish our experience with Walter's, namely Donna, was excellent. From the initial meet when first viewing the property Donna has been a tremendous professional. There have been times where I have been "needy" and thrown mini tantrums, but despite this Donna has remained pleasant, informative and supportive; In my mind going above and beyond the remit of her role to deliver an extraordinary level of service.
From my perspective I think the biggest compliment I can offer is that having used online estate agents for my last couple of sales, based on price, I would now seriously reconsider and would go straight to see Donna at Walter's as I can't believe how much of a difference I feel her role played in this experience.

Arranged a viewing , traffic was very busy we gave ourselves an hour to get to Lincoln from Mansfield , we telephoned the office to say we were running 15 minutes late, who told us that was fine and they would let the gent showing us around know,, we arrived and no one was there , when we rang the office the maintainable man answered stating no one was there and they had all gone home , very bad service losing a potential sale from a £200,000 house . No one rang us to say the agent was not waiting for us very disappointing

We couldn't have wished for more from an estate agent ......prompt valuation from Chris and importantly from someone with knowledge of the area in which the property resided. He having advised us of the current market demand for properties like ours ,allowed the property price to positioned accurately. Marketed promptly, it attracted an offer within week which after careful handling from Geth, who negotiated the offer upwards to achieve the asking price .Theron Donna nudged the solicitors and the buyer to keep the process moving along nicely and kept us updated with regular calls/emails as the sale progressed . You could not of asked for more from an Estate Agent, they are truly a professional team and we would highly recommend them . To all of you at your Lincon office a big thank you . It's a shame the full story does not get published. I own Northwood Lincoln, so please take my star rating with a pinch of salt! Al Fuller's review does not mention that the owner could only finance the repair via an insurance claim, and the insurance assessors took over 7 weeks to attend and approve the work, followed by another 2 weeks for the authorised contractor to complete the job. There are some 3rd party elements that, as good an agent as we are, we can't control despite our efforts to hasten the process. I don't think this makes us a bad agent, but we did appreciate the inconvenience you suffered with bathroom availability reduced to just the en-suite and tried our level best to get the repairs authorised as quickly as we could. Thank you though for being excellent tenants and I wish you well in your future properties.

Really poor customer service - emailed lettings team and ten days later no response. As a landlord I definitely would not place my properties with Walters for let if this is how quickly they get back to prospective tenants. Pity as the property sales team are always very attentive and effective.

North wood Lincoln are a very very poor estate agents. I moved until a rented flat with Northwood in August. On the first day we noticed that there was a problem with the bathroom floor; we were later told that this bathroom was unsafe and should not be used. Northwood did not solve this problem for 3 months. I caked everyday and complained and nothing was done. I would not trust this company with anything, they are quite simply incompetent.
The company uses many charges that others don't and they are very poor at dealing with any sort of problem.
If you are renting, buying or selling a house in Lincoln look elsewhere!

Hopeless! Called to speak to them about one of their tenants and I was told i would be called back urgently, clearly as they are not generating cash from my phone call they couldn't be bothered to call me back, I have emailed them, seems like one of those companies you have to pester to get anything done which I will gladly do :)
