The property I was trying to purchase was occupied by someone who wouldn't vacate. I wasted nearly 8 months and over a £1,000 of solicitor's fees before giving up. The property subsequently went back on the market with Webbers, was then SSTC before disappearing. Now it is back on the market again with them. How many people are going to try and purchase this property only to end up wasting time and money despite Webbers knowing full well that there is an issue with the occupier not being willing to vacate the property (presuming that this is an ongoing problem and reason for the sales not completing). Makes me wonder if I wasn't the first to try and purchase the property.... Read more
