I had an interesting experience with Wentworth about a month ago. We put an offer on a house, which unfortunately fell through under frustrating circumstances. At the time, I felt the advice given by the agent may have been misguided, and I was disappointed when we lost the purchase. So why the 5 stars? When I called to find out whether our offer had been accepted, it was Daniel who delivered the bad news and who bore the brunt of my frustration. I spoke with him at length, multiple times, and each time he responded with genuine empathy and understanding. As first-time buyers, his guidance and advice were incredibly helpful and well beyond what we expected. We didn’t get the house, but the interaction with Daniel was unexpectedly positive. Our involvement in that particular sale was over, yet Daniel still took the time to support and advise us. That level of care was rare and sincerely appreciated. If that’s the kind of service I received in a situation where we weren’t even clients, I can only imagine how exceptional the experience must be for those who are. I know exactly who I’ll be reaching out to when I’m next in need of real estate services. A brilliant experience from Wentworth, especially when they didn’t have to. I sold my property through Wentworths after a failed attempt with another agent. I found the valuation was fair and realistic and resulted in a sale within days of going on the market . When you experience a great estate agency you realise the overwhelming gulf in service that there is out there. Dan and his team recently sold our house in Weston (Nov 19) and I can honestly say they were a pleasure to work with them. The X factor that this team have is the fact that they always keep you informed (it feels like I've spent my life chasing estate agents in the past) and they were always pro-active and helpful in other aspects which I hadn't thought of. An example was properties that I was considering making an offer on. There was nothing in it for Dan but he was always happy to offer his opinion and expertise. They made sure we were totally happy with the details and when and who did the viewings. They were also polite and courteous - even when I was being my most 'trying'.... I will unquestionably use them to sell our next property - though we hope that won't be for a while! My wife was so impressed she took them each a bottle of fizz when we completed.
