We’ve recently started renting through William H Brown and couldn’t be happier with the service we received.
Grace was our agent and she was absolutely fantastic from the very first viewing. She talked us through the whole process clearly and kindly, and was incredibly patient while helping us overcome a few obstacles on our side. Renting with pets is never easy — especially when you have four dogs — but Grace went above and beyond, negotiating with the landlord and successfully securing the property for us.
She kept us informed every step of the way, made the process feel far less stressful, and was just genuinely lovely throughout. When it came time to collect the keys, she was just as helpful and continued to support us with any issues that cropped up.
We also want to mention Kelly, the lettings manager, who gave us so much reassurance around our pets and made us feel truly welcome — including a thoughtful welcome box full of goodies ????
Brilliant service from start to finish, with support continuing even after we’d moved in. We honestly couldn’t recommend William H Brown enough.

Wow what can I say but fantastic work throughout for this estate agents in Boston.
Kieran Johnson who is a sales representative has gone above and beyond with looking to find me a property. Kieran is on the ball with his communication skills always on the phone to let me know something has come on the market and sending me emails for the property to look at. Very jolly and polite and professional at all times it’s a pleasure talking with him.

My experience with William H Brown has been nothing but pleasant. I had been browsing properties online mostly (as typical before you actually start making decisions) and found myself sending in a few enquiries to houses with different agencies. Straight away, I was contacted by William H Brown and we went through viewing options for a property. The wonderful Grace showed me around and let me inspect whatever I liked without hovering over me like a hawk, which was super appreciated. I had a lot of questions and felt that every one was answered professionally. She walked me through the application process and kept me updated throughout the day after I'd left.
Not only was Grace completely on top of everything, she was actually genuinely interested in helping me find a suitable place. Not just because it was her job, but because she really must have an interest in helping people. I'd explained my tetchy situation to her and how I needed to move as soon as possible, and we ended up going from a viewing on the 9th to moving in on the 19th! She found an appropriate property for me and ensured I could get a viewing quickly. It was so nice to hear her sincerely happy for me when I was accepted and approved.
As for being a first-time renter, the whole experience was very easy to follow. Everything that I needed to do was shown and explained to me along the way. I was a little worried about being behind on what I needed to do, but Grace was once again incredible! Not only did she immediately let me know about developments, but she was working behind the scenes to make sure we could get everything wrapped up before Christmas (which was quite the feat) too, right up until the day I moved in. I could not be more thankful for Grace's diligence and care for just one person.
If you're looking for the right agents to help you, I'd recommend William H Brown. They really did take a lot of the stress off my shoulders by making the process much easier. Special thanks to Grace and the team for following through during such a tough time.

We found a private rented property we loved, we contacted William H brown via email and they got back very quickly. We had Beth who dealt with our enquiry. She was so helpful and was so quick at getting back in touch, nothing seemed too much either she was more than happy to answer any questions etc. When we viewed the property we did not feel rushed to look around Beth just let us roam to take a look ourselves :) Beth rang us tonight to inform us we have been accepted for our private rented property. Dealt solely with Beth who was delightful and always prepared to go the extra mile shame all William H Brown sites aren't the same but as Meatloaf said 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
She has had to put up with numerous requests from me all actioned promptly and I can only one time having to chase her and it seems a colleague had omitted to call me, but in a busy office that does happen.
Certainly don't want to be looking again for property in the near future but when I do I would certainly go back.

No words can describe how I feel after wasting 20 weeks waiting for a viewing. Yes you read that correctly! Not one viewing! Two weeks after WH Brown valued my property, I was advised to reduce the asking price. Because I was not prepared to do this so soon after my property was put on the market, WH Brown did nothing to promote my property, they didn't even get anyone to attend my 'Open Day'! When I gave 28 days notice to end the contract, I was asked why?! What a total waste of 20 weeks!!! Please think twice or maybe 3 times before entering into a contract with this Estate Agent ????

Paula did our inspection today and I have no complaints. She was polite and friendly as they always are during viewings. Paula was professional and asked us for permission before she entered each room and once she finished her checks she asked if we had any problems. The lady there doesn't respond to emails, then tells you that your email is not receiving emails!
Despite me receiving numerous emails from other senders every day.
I went to collect the house keys on the moving in date, to be shocked that they changed the tenancy term from 6 to 12 months!
I asked why, they simply said the landlord changed his mind!!!

My experience with William H Brown could not have been better. My estate agent, Katrina, was always very lovely and accommodating when we wanted to view the house and always managed to find a time that was convenient for us. She also never made us feel rushed while we was there and was happy to answer any questions! The mortgage broker, Donovan, was absolutely fantastic and managed to help me push through the purchase in what was a very quick turn around. Again nothing was ever too much effort. 100% would recommend their services!

I have spent the last 30 years buying and selling properties but I have never met a more incompetent group of people. I made an offer on 2nd Nov 2022 and finally excanged on 28th April. I dealt with Nathanial, Leanne, Carina and Perry and a new sales manager there.. Every time I called I never once received a call back to sort issues out. This awful customer service under the leadership of Leanne is absolutely awful and an experience that I will never repeat in the future. My requests for complaints was to tell me to put it in Writing to the office manager Leanna! Complete and utter joke!

Rang to ask regarding a properly shown in the window as couldn't find it on any web site, office was closed when I saw it, lady said it had been sold but circumstances had changed and was back on the market, after answering numerous questions about myself and current property she said she would e mail the brochure. Lengthy e mail arrived telling me all about their company and what they can offer, no brochure!!! Waste of time!

We've had mixed opinions on many estate agents regarding WHBrown its always annoying when you leave a message for the person who's dealing with your sale & they never return your call on the whole I didn't realky think who to use to sell your property the service is usually the same there are exceptions we've never unfortunately found one

I was told I could have a viewing of a property originally on the 6th April which was then corrected to be the 5th April, confirmed by letting agent Kelly White, to then arrive at the property to be told by the tenant that all viewings have been completed and the other viewer has been accepted and took a deposit. Called the letting agent to just be told I was in the diary for tomorrow and that it would’ve been cancelled tomorrow anyway because the viewer before me had already been accepted, no email to let me know or phone call just to say it needed to be cancelled. If you confirm an appointment you expect to be at that appointment and not be told by the tenant that someone has already been accepted. Will not use this estate agents again, I had to take an afternoon out of work UNPAID to attend this letting. Unsatisfactory work.

Viewed a property for sale with the agent he showed no interest at all. I was viewing the property for my parents, that were unable to visit. First of all agent arrived but hadn’t even gone into property to turn off the alarms, he couldn’t remember the code so before we even managed to look around the neighbours knew we were there. Every time we looked in a room we were followed with every door being locked or closed behind us, so when I wanted to have a last look before leaving I found it very awkward. We liked the property but had some questions so wanted a second viewing. Every time we phoned the Boston agent the phones were on answer phone. I left messages and also emailed. After receiving no reply we visited their office to be told they hadn’t received any of my messages!! We booked a second viewing for the following day which they then cancelled to a later time. Revisited but again agent hovered the whole time and kept locking the doors behind us. My parents put in an offer and were told that they would let them know once they had a reply from the sellers. Two weeks of waiting and again phoning and leaving messages we found out for ourselves that the property had been sold. We felt all along they were stalling us as they had other customers interested. To not even be told that the sellers had accepted another offer was in our opinion very unprofessional. Not even sure our offer was put forward. I managed to get through to the agent in the end that said they had a very good offer for the property on Green Lane Boston, then asked my parents name and what offer they put in? Should the office not know that. Anyway in the next few weeks we will be in a position to put our family home on the market and at least from this experience we know who we will not be marketing our property.

We went to see a house we had hopes for after seeing really good photos online . Once there we saw that almost every room was half way through being renovated, with walls having been stripped away and half way finished and same with electrics. The pictures and description showed no sign of all the work that needs done to it, almost as if they were hiding it. It was also at a high price for the area despite needing work done. Really disappointed in them as they wasted our time. At least write a sentence or show photos of the walls that need work doing otherwise it’s misleading and feels like they are lying.

I have found the Boston branch to be very rude and they did not do the viewings like they said they would so I then agreed I would. They did not call me weekly like they agreed to do, the young man dealing mainly with the sale had no experience and did not seem to have any help or training, when I took the property off the market and informed my friends of this they said that they may be interested but they would have to sell there property first this was weeks after I took it off the market and they were very rude and nasty. It was about 2 months later that they came back to us to talk it over and they have kept calling us saying that they will still want to be paid as they have heard that we have sold it privately. they have just been really nasty.

My parents and I are selling our house with a different estate agent. Yet William h brown ring us every day pestering us about our house sale. We have told them every single time that we are not interested, yet they call us every single day asking how it’s going and if we want to go with them. No we don’t! They know how our sale is going because they most probably have our house sale up on their computer saying it’s still for sale. We have told them every time that we are happy with another company and that we do not want them to contact us again. If we wanted to go with them, we’d ring them and let them know. Sometimes when they called, we’d answer the phone and they’d hang up straight away. And when we wouldn't answer their calls (because we know their number by now), they started sending us letters saying “dear homeowner, please call us regarding your property referencing this code”. How do we get them to leave us alone?! Has anyone else that this problem? If only I could give them a 0 star rating!

Piss poor estate agents. Have very little knowledge for what their doing. Only interested in quick paydays and don't really want to put any effort in to helping you. I found that most of the Boston office had less brains than curt Cobain's garage door. Put off buying through them and I definitely wouldn't trust them selling my property.

This company is awful. They hounded us weekly when my wife's house was on the market with somebody else in Boston. They promised us a very quick sale. We thus transferred the agency to them and we got next to nothing. Poor inaccurate details advertised of the house, zero communication about viewings. their reputation was already poor and I can honestly say stay clear. Upon visiting to collect the house keys when the contract was up their office was not what you could call a hive of activity. They were all doing nothing and just chatting amongst themselves. I am so glad they do not work for me. Avoid. No stars if that was an option.

Was so much help from the word go. Made me and my girlfriend feel at ease throughout. Every single question was answered no problem and was always asking if there was anything more he could do. Not pushy with us walking around just wanted us to take our time and be happy. Checked measurements when we initially walked round and I managed to lose them but when I asked to meet again he was straight on it, met me again with a smile and was happy to help. Not over friendly, certain staff members quite patronising, lots of pressure put on me on the day day of my move when I had trouble picking up the keys for my new property.
