We went to a mortgage advisory meeting on Saturday and also viewed some properties. The team were really supportive and as a potential first time buyer they broke everything down and made it easy to understand and showed me properties that matched my description and with great potential. From the start, she listened to our requirements and knew exactly what type of property we were looking for, arranging a viewing for us for the property that turned out to be the one before it was even on Rightmove.
Nothing is ever simple when buying a property, but Teri was amazing at chasing solicitors when they needed to be chased (which turned out to be quite a lot!), dealing with a rather inpatient chain, and always kept us informed as to what was going on.
You can tell that Teri genuinely cares about every single client. We can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work in finally getting our purchase through, and I would 100% recommend her if you’re looking for a friendly, professional and knowledgable estate agent!!

Lovely property, as we are trying to downsize, we found the property bigger than expressed in the agents pictures, also we are trying to get a property closer to the beach than the one viewed today. I would also add, we found it quite inconvenient, that everything about the property eg gas, electric “ ask the agent”, why can’t it be stated in the description of the property so we can see before the visit. Please thank the owner as she was very welcoming and answered all our questions and wish all the best for the future

Brought all of our furniture, and that is all thanks to Kirsten, if Kirsten hadn’t made this process so smooth and quick we would still be standing around wondering what to do! I knew Sam before I relocated to Great Yarmouth. Once I arrived in the city, Sam and his colleague drove me around and showed me three properties. He and his colleague were very friendly and patient. Although I didn't decide to stay in any of the properties they recommended, they were still very nice to me and provided me with new information about other properties.
Therefore, I recommended the agency to my new colleagues who came from Africa, and they quickly found their own properties, settled down and were satisfied with their new home.

Having been a new buyer of properties I have been pleasantly surprised at the helpful of the staff especially Tom who put himself out to make sure that I would be happy with my purchases of three houses. He also made sure all my queries were answered in full and honestly.

Hi I have been in touch with William h brown Great Yarmouth about a property they have up for sale but I can’t buy through them as I’ve viewed it through another agent, but these have gone to the end of the Earth to help us. This was my first time moving home after about 6 years. The actual process is not an easy one without any doubt.
The only thing I didn't had to worry about was finding the new property and the processes until signing the agreement was in place.
Initial contact was with Sam who was really helpful to start the process of finding the property. Thank you Sam for your help.
Then it was Lewis Moore with whom I got the viewing arranged and everything until I received the Keys to the new property.
Lewis went above and beyond during the whole process, he made sure all my questions are answered. Sometimes I had to message him out of his working hours and he did reply me then and there to help with my queries. Want to say, he was extremely helpful. Thank you Lewis.
My whole experience with WH Brown Estates was a great one, I hope, that will be the same in the future as well.

Just how it should be done. I cannot speak highly enough of Lewis and Sam. I worked for 15 years within the industry and could not believe how poor a service I had received from a letting agent prior to enquiring about a property listed with WHB. I honestly believe that it is well earned, too.
I was desperately seeking some accommodation and upon being in contact with Sam Ellis at W H Brown. He made this so simple and the easiest journey in moving me and my partner have had.
Sam met us at the property the next day. Very friendly, smart, and polite. He was also approachable. Instantly felt like a friend. I mean.
After agreeing to take the property, Sam got to work, and within a week, it was ours after doing all the relevant paperwork. We were also dealing with a young man called Lewis. We were updated throughout via emails or telephone.
We felt very supported. Moving home is deemed a very stressful process.
This has been so different and very enjoyable, actually.
I have had many dealings in my life with estate agents, and this branch in Great Yarmouth is by far the best. I had to pop in a couple of times to provide ID and sign the contract. All the agents on the letting side were friendly and welcoming and smiling. It certainly felt a breath of fresh air to walk into such a good atmosphere. There wasn't a grumpy face in sight.
Me and my partner cannot thank you all enough. It is now very clear why you all have a wall full of well-earned certificates. They went above and beyond. I am already promoting this business.

Used Sam to find and reference a tenant for a property in NR30. Originally went with another agent (I bought through them) who did find a tenant quite quickly but they didn’t come good at completing referencing in a timely manner. Sam is a very tenacious chap and was keen for my business as a new-to-area landlord, promising he could find a good tenant very quickly.
After a few weeks, I then instructed Sam and within 1 day the property was let, speedy comms from WHB and so far a very positive experience.

I had a phone call yesterday from Gina, I am looking at investing in Great Yarmouth, I know nothing about the area, only that I use to holiday there and one day would like to retire by the sea. Gina has given me a lot of reassurance with becoming a landlady. She has advised of the good areas and out of 6 agents that I spoke to yesterday was the only one who informed me of a licence scheme in the area. Bad experience from start to finish. Unhelpful rude staff who all tell you something different and dont have a clue what's going on. Loads of issues from start due to a flood from upstairs, I was very lenient and understand during this time but everything has gone down hill ever since. So much I could say about this company but currently still waiting on a decision about my deposit which I should have had within 10 days and it's now been nearly a month. I only ever get a reply or call back if I copy someone higher In the emails. Now told I am best to continue with a dispute to get a decision from them. Many faults been put on check out report that are also on my check in report when moved in. In a very stressful and worrying time for all I have found they couldn't care less and honestly I wish I had never given them a penny. I will keep fighting but advise you all to steer clear and save yourselves the stress

However since a new manager ( Gina ) has taken over the branch it has gone from strength to strength, Nothing is to much trouble for the staff and the whole operation is run in a very professional manner, so much so they have given me the confidence to place the remainder of my property portfolio with them,

Could not fault the entire service that the sales department delivered!! Georgia is one of the most enthusiastic people I have ever met in my life, she made the whole process of relocating fun and enjoyable taking all my stress and worries away. Georgia had my best interests at heart and gave me honest advice when purchasing my new home, she also helped me with the solicitor side of things recommending her in house services which made the process a whole lot easier! Just brought my second investment property from William h brown, always like to deal with the team here as they go above and beyond to help. Sarah and Georgia were always upfront and honest with me and fantastic at keeping my informed of new properties to market, especially as I am not local and they didn’t fail. Sarah negotiated on my Behalf and gave me great advise. Adam whom is the branch manager advised me on what I needed to do to the property to get it done up and what I could potentially resell for. I recently sold my property through William H Brown, Great Yarmouth l and I must say from the moment I had Adam round my house to value it to the the day it completed and I got that call from Sarah the whole process was outstanding. Adam was honest and upfront with his valuation and provided excellent knowledge on my area. I must admit I did have a few agents round to value it and browns wasn’t the cheapest BUT they are worth every penny not only did they sell my house within the first month they got me over my asking price which I never expected. The young lady Georgia who carried out all my viewings was a breath of fresh air so bubbly and cheerful she seemed to know all the clients very well and provided a 5 star service. Sarah who is the senior in the office dealt with all the offers that came in on my property, she was so friendly and informative, without her I would never have got the price I did for my house what a negotiator she is! It didn’t end their though, I was kept well informed throughout the next 8-10 weeks by Mary who dealt with the solicitors recommended by Sarah and they were all great, I was devious about using the “estate agents” recommend solicitor but I’m glad I did, it’s was hassle free and saved me from so much stress as Mary literally dealt with it all! Thank you so much to the whole team.

Great teams in the office for both sales and lettings. After buying 2 apartments through the sales team, they followed up regularly to ensure the process was still on track. I had some setbacks during the legals, but the team were on it and together we managed to get these over the line.
The lettings team found me great tenants relatively quickly. Gina and the team managed to tailor their services to my needs which was very much appreciated. I can highly recommend the team at WH Brown in Great Yarmouth and I am looking forward to working with them again in the future.
