I would highly recommend William H Brown! From the very start Callum was fast acting to get my house up for sale within days of me contacting them as I had seen a house I wanted. My house was sold within a day and I was able to put an offer in the house I wanted which wouldn't of been possible without him! From then Courtney and Charlotte have been so supportive throughout the whole process and always happy to talk to me either on the phone or via email. They went above and beyond to get me in my new home ASAP. They were also really good at keeping me updated throughout it all! Even though Evie was not involved in the selling or purchasing of the houses she was always really polite and happy to help any way she could.

These guys did a great job for their client (the seller). If you are a buyer, be warned, watch out for their tactics. Having been told the seller had accepted our offer but just wanted to see proof of our funds (as we were cash buyers), I promptly supplied a bank statement showing more than the funds needed for the asking price. Surprise, surprise the next day I am informed that actually someone else has put in an offer and would we like to up our offer. I freely admit that this is how the property business works but the team at William H Brown Maltby were in full possession that we had more funds available than the offer price.... why not just push a bit more to see if they could get more money out of us? Got to applaud them for getting more money for their client though. As a buyer, the approach taken by William H Brown left a very unpleasant taste in the mouth.

in particular, Aimee who was our contact here. She was always keeping me up to date with the process and always saw that my requests were dealt with as quickly as possible. We had some issues relating to the boundary (nothing to do with the estate agents) and this was handled quickly and efficiently by Aimee, she’s been fantastic and if I come to sell my property I’ll be requesting Aimee as my estate agent of choice!

I have been gazumped, put an offer in on a house and started all the wheels turning with mortgage brokers, solicitors and surveyors only to have a call saying another buyer has offered more. I completely accept that someone might have offered more money but it is horrible practice to tell someone they have had an offer accepted only to tell them THE DAY AFTER that the situation has changed. Would not be surprised if the only reason this person has offered more is because the agent called them and told them our offer had been accepted to pressure them to offer more. Appalling. I have heard stories from others with William H Brown too. DO NOT TRUST THESE GOOD REVIEWS.

I cannot praise the team at William H Brown Maltby enough. From start to finish Calum, Katie and Natalie were all professional, responsive, and cheerful. They dealt with everything, including viewings of the property. There were unavoidable delays due to the pandemic but Calum kept in touch from home. We have recently purchased a bungalow where W H Brown were the selling agent, unbelievably we placed the offer on 1st February 2019 and completed som nearly 12 months later on 24th January due to problems in conveyancing which was a massive traumatic experience (not through any fault of WH Brown) that we do not want to repeat.
