Well where do I start? Firstly they over value the house you’re selling. Once they get you to sign the contract you’re stuck!!! Then after a couple of months they tell you maybe the property is overpriced making it look as if you valued the house but it was them. They reduce the price and earn a commission to do this. After having several viewings done by viewers they use that are not properly trained estate agents showing people around your property who can’t sell anyway. So 5 months later after a good few viewings the beautiful house isn’t sold. I think the estate agents in the office need to get out and do the viewings and stop relying on people that are NOT skilled enough to sell a house. I have called the office several times today as my contact with Oakwood branch has ended today and I want my house off the market and off line as legally this should be done upon my instruction. I haven’t had a call back from the manager George and have stressed I want to talk to him and been told he’s in the office. I have emailed requesting take my house off line today please. I don’t have any faith with selling a house wow H Brown. Please remove my house off line today

The quality of the photos on the WHB properties is so appalling, that although I did view properties they had on the market, I always viewed through an agent, which had taken the time and effort to market their properties properly.
WHB Oakwood, should be seriously ashamed of their lack of marketing skills.

They will advertise and sell their service to you as if its amazing however, once you've signed the contract its a completely different story!
Communication is poor, I had to call and request to be given updates which is unacceptable.
The staff including the managers are unprofessional!
When I raised my concers with management, my concerns were disregarded! Moreover, replies are patronising, I was laughed at during a conversation with the brach manager at oakwood when discussing my frustration with the service. Confirming just how unprofessional they all are.
Management will make out you are the one that is wrong and state errors made are 'human error' or completely disregard them all together. However, funnily enough all the poor reviews seem to say the same thing.
If you request to terminate the contract they will refuse this and make sure you remain in contract until the 5 months have passed to cause even more inconvenience and waste your time further.

I was purchasing a property 15 Foxwood grove via this estate agent, honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had so much it caused me to pull out of purchasing the property! Warning for anyone looking to sell through this branch. Connor constantly ringing us up threatening us, energy was not friendly at all.

Placed an offer on a property, was informed William H Brown would be in touch to discuss after putting it to the seller. Received no phone call, chased this up a day later to find out they have completed a sale on a higher offer without any consultation despite expressing willingness to increase my offer.
Adam Mack was then very quick to ring myself and family members an hour later to harass them because someone has visited the property, spoken with the seller and discussed increasing their offer. Adam assumed this was myself because the person in question has a similar surname. Amazing how quick he was to call when he assumed something could affect his commission.
I would recommend doing a thorough investigation in future before jumping to conclusions. Absolutely horrible customer service, will not be doing any business with William H Brown going forward.

Adam and Connor were brilliant. They kept me upto date with my purchase. It was a 6 month process to complete from the offer acceptance, but they were both really patient in assisting me by keeping upto date, chasing queries, and doing the legwork.
Adam was superb in clear communication, regularly providing me a weekly update (usually Friday 2pm) it was so consistent that it was natural to expect a call at that time every week with a status update. Connor was also very calm and collective when I would be frustrated with timescales exceeding expectations, of course it was out of their hands but the fact that they chased up meant alot to me.
I would highly recommend William H Brown for this branch for future sales opportunities. It's a competent team, who are very patient, understanding, and good at what they do.
I would like to urge William H Brown to give some credit to Adam and Connor because their persistence in ensuring this was a success needs to be recognised and rewarded.

A shocking experience using the Oakwood office, my son put an offer on a flat that was accepted, the office knew he was keen for a quick completion and that he was paying for a fast track completion. Unfortunately unbeknown to
him the flat was not yet available and had to go through probate, all the more disgusting now is that the branch manager is actually lying and saying he was aware of this! Obviously without a shred of evidence Absolutely disgusted that they would act in such a stereotypical way.

Initially it look a very professional estate agency, but once they took the job I had to chased them on correcting the marketing information of the house. They even uploaded the one with wrong information online and took them a week to fix it afterwards. Then, there was also a mistake in the virtual tour which I had to chase for weeks to fix. Finally, there was no feedback provided to me on what the viewers had been looking for.
Overall it seems that this branch is too busy and understaffed at least in 2021.

Totally dissatisfied and will never set foot in this place again.
They're agents for most new builds in Leeds. We jumped through hoops, fitted the criteria for a shared ownership, but was then told a few months later that the house we wanted had gone to someone else. No explanation as to why!
My theory is that more commission could be earned from someone willing to buy a bigger share of the property. Hopefully karma will come around.

Looking to relocate to Leeds for work. I visited Brown's
to get an idea for the area, get some guidance as to where I should look and if there are any areas to avoid etc. We are still in the early stages but I must say they were truly open and honest with myself and my wife and considered our requirements wholeheartedly. Which is more than I can say from other agents I have spoken to in the past.
I would definitely recommend if you are considering a move to the area!!

Let themselves in without giving me notice and had to be chased every step of the way.
