These people are ghouls. I have viewed some houses with them and theve added me to a mailing list. They started sending me unsolicited mails for houses wildly inappropriate to my search. Clicked unsuscribe, and they still mailed me. Clicked unsuscribe again, they keep mailing. Repeat another 10 times. Today is xmas day and william brown is emailing me purporting to be from my local branch saying should get my house valued. Yeah except its Xmas day. This company have never heard of GDPR. Ghouls the lot of them. Never sell your house with these chances ever.

I was recommended by a good friend to try Emma for unique mortgage advice and she instantly knew the best solution and deals for the situation.

Experience so far is simply great! Extremely responsive with questions (usually get the answers back on the same or second day). Patient and helpful with viewings (3 or 4 times now). Proactive with checking of progress. If I must identify a less than excellent aspect, it would be their policy of not showing dimensions and total floor area info in the floor plan. Their virtual tour video is mediocre: not really interactive 360 tour, just a pile of static photos with music.

Brilliant service from Linzi, Dan and Charlotte at the Moortown branch! If you know the area you will be aware there are no shortage of estate agents to choose from on the Moortown parade. So why did I choose William H Brown?
I had visits from Manning Stainton and William H Brown to view and price the house, they both estimated the same price which was fine but I felt Linzi from WH Brown was a really good 'pitcher' if you know what I mean. Lovely nature, no pressure, well prepared, measured up on first visit, knowledgeable.... and what was also most welcome was the advice she gave on 'tarting up' a couple of areas of the house that would make it look better. It was very tactfully delivered and I wish we had thought of it earlier! We did what she suggested and really improved the look of a loft stair case before photos were taken etc.
Following on from this, whenever I emailed there was a quick response, when I called there was a quick answer. Communications were perfect, not too few, not too many. The process ran very smoothly.
Charlotte spent a whole open day showing people around the house which worked really well and we achieved a great price. Dan pushed the sale through during the later stages and is always calm and professional sounding on the phone.
Would I use them again? Absolutely! And as it happens I have already signed for them to manage the sale of my mothers house and I am relieved to know it will be the same team seeing it through.
Final and most important point...the William H Brown sign looks better outside your house, nicer colour scheme and graphics I think! :-)

Very poor service, unprofessional staff and they do not deliver what they promise.
My property was supposed to be sold to a buyer who they failed to sell his property for four times!!
I had to chase them up for an update about the sale for five months and every time they assured me it is just a matter of time to sell the buyer's property and precede with purchase of mine, however they did not try to make any effort to find me another buyer and they marked my property as 'sold' instead of 'under offer'. The buyer lost interest after all the frustration and stress he had because of how W H Brown was managing the sale of his property so he withdrew it from the market and cancelled his offer on mine.
I thought I could end this nightmare by switching to another estate agent, only to find out that their sale signpost had damaged the gate of my property. They denied responsibility and advised me to contact their sign agency which I do not have any agreement or contract with!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, AVOID THIS RUBBISH ESTATE AGENT AND CHECK THEIR REVIEWS ON TRUSTPILOT. THEY ARE THE WORST!
P.S. I relisted my property with Linley & Simpson and it was sold within three weeks.

Unfortunately you do not offer a zero star rating as that's what they deserve, paid £180 for a premium service and they never even managed to get the property listed. I had to chase them and they trued blaming the photographer who they had engaged!!!! I couldn't recommend strongly enough not to use them. They are absolutely useless.

poor experience, my 1st contact was that we wanted to view a property, they never called back to arrange when promised, when i chased them they seemed incredulous that i was complaining that they had not called me!! Tried to go into their office the other weekend and the door was locked and finally when we eventually did a viewing with them, they turned up 15 mins late without apologising and then told us the property was already under offer. Steer clear.

I have recently bought a house and dealt with Lindsey and Elliot. William H Brown do have a mixed reputation as a corporate outfit, and a lot of it is not favourable. However thankfully every agent is not the same, and this Branch is very good at what they do.
They have been very honest from the start, and couldn't be more helpful with viewings and chasing solicitors, and i would definitely recommend them every time, to buy or sell your home.
