Even though we haven’t secured the flat yet, I wanted to share how positive my experience with Jonas has been so far. I’m currently dealing with a very stressful situation at home, so navigating the rental process could have easily felt overwhelming. However, Jonas has made the experience genuinely refreshing.
From the start, he has been approachable, responsive, and supportive. His communication has been excellent, and he’s always taken the time to answer my questions and keep me updated, which has really helped ease some of the stress I’ve been under.

Faced alot of racist attitude during our first house purchase. We were first time buyers and instead of being helpful, their tone was condescending, telling us to hurry or the seller will put it back to the market. We were not allowed to visit the property after the initial visit. And after asking many times they did allow us as a 'favor'. Basically just wanted us to speed up and pay asap. The whole process took 3 months and even then we were told that we are super slow. So turns out the roof needs replacing. There is no felt or insulation. We have drippy walls and in this cold my kids and i feel like sleeping in a fridge literally. And now looking at £15000 pounds to get the roofing done. We really got stiched. And i blame Sophie our property agent for the way we were treated and got into this mess, and made the whole process incredibly difficult. Also i don't know how a property with literally just a thin layer of faulty roof was made available in the market. Massive massive life learning and huge heads up to first time buyers who are dealing with Winkworth.

Winkworth have always endeavoured to find a tenant quickly and have been on the ball to assist with any property or tenant issues which have arisen. Avoid selling your property with Winkworth. We had a 'buyer" confirmed. No updates for 6 weeks only to find out the buyer hadn't secured their mortgage. General lack of updates through the process and constant chasing thereafter. Much better off going with KKH. Also, notice most of the 5 star reviews are from people with less than 5 reviews...

We are so pleased we chose Winkworth to sell our house. Josh was brilliant. After just one open day we had 23 viewings and an asking price offer. We then lost buyers twice (it was 2022....) and on both occasions he and the team immediately leapt into action, got loads of new viewings and we were back under offer within a week. If it weren't for this we would have lost the property we wanted to buy.
There were lots of bumps in the road for us, for reasons beyond our control and there's, but Josh and Aaron have us really good advice. Ours was not a high value property and yet they were really, personally committed and hard working throughout to make sure we could move. We' ve had less good experiences with various other agents in the past and would highly recommend Winkworth.

The estate agent brought someone along to the viewing. This person was very rude to me on the street outside the property as I pulled up to the viewing. It was a surprise to find out they were the ones doing the viewing! When she realised who I was, she didn’t even apologise for her rude behaviour on the street either. Poor knowledge of the market. They were not thorough enough with valuation and failed to discover that a flat was on the market at a much lower price. I had to bring this to their attention! Also they were slow and not proactive enough. I had to look at market and call them to reduce the price. After a wasted 10 weeks contract with them no sale and we are now approaching Xmas where it slows .I truly believe we could have sold in September had we gone with another agent. Don't bother to try and sell with winkworth.

Winkworth have been managing our let property for 9 months now, and they have been nothing but first rate. As landlords who live abroad it was extremely important for us to have an estate agent that looks after our property. They have been professional throughout, invoices and rental income are sent on the due date and never late. We have had some property issues (no fault of Winkworth) and Laura has always been extremely efficient with forwarding on emails and even helping search for a fridge freezer on the internet when our one was broken, we even get to contact her when she works from home, making the point of contact for us, personal and consistent. Whilst they charge 1-2% less for the management fee, this is not a compromise on their standards. I`m sure we`ll be using Winkworth for many years to come.

We've really felt that Gina has been on our side since day one - not just through the regular things that you expect from your agent, managing viewings and negotiating on price - but particularly through a very fraught moment when we had to go back on the market and throughout the final weeks when the chain looked as though it might collapse in the final stages. Gina was calm, completely abreast of the situation and the agent in the chain who made it her business to know about all the other transactions and needs of the various parties up and down the whole chain.
