Two years ago, I had a very positive first impression of Your Move Wallsend. Unfortunately, contrary to my initial belief, my experience over the past year and a half has been extremely disappointing.
As both a landlord and later as a seller, I faced ongoing issues, unexpected and continuous charges, and a general lack of transparency. The service quality declined significantly, and I felt let down on multiple occasions. What started as a promising professional relationship turned into a very frustrating experience.
Based on my long-term experience, I would not recommend Your Move to anyone.

I originally expressed interest in selling my property, probably around 3 years ago , before finally making a decision last month.
Chloe and Jess always kept up the contact over that prolonged period , but never overbearingly and always with my best wishes in mind. The office and business is ran very professionaly but with just the right amount of personal touch , which can be lost in other enviroments.
I always believed that they were going to attain the best results for me the customer and in turn their business.Harry and Jess (2 ) were always happy to answer any questions I had and even from my wife ...Not forgetting Sarah who overseas and manages the whole operation with her expertise and excellent level of customer focus. Sarah and her team provided regular updates and went above and beyond to keep everything on track — even when unexpected delays and challenges cropped up outside of their control.

At the outset I wasn’t sure if I wanted to sell my house, having lost my husband a few months before. Sarah came to talk me through the process and assured me that everything would be done at my pace, including when I found the right property to buy. I have to be honest, it hasn’t been the easiest process partly because it’s over 20 years since buying/selling a property and so much has changed in that time. Sarah (the Branch Manager) was wonderful throughout our experience of purchasing a home, they weren't even our estate agent, they were our sellers and I found her so helpful and informative (possibly the only person I felt positively about in the whole process). We did have a slight mishap early on with our ID checks where we had taken these into branch and had them scanned however got a call later on to provide info again because they had lost them? Doesn't sound great but no problems after that. Gail even went out of her way to run out the shop to hand us the keys to save us finding parking after we had had such a hold up with solicitors. Really helpful.

So, my wife and I needed to move away for work and we were a bit worried about keeping the mortgage going by ourselves so we contacted Yourmove.
Gail came to our house to scope out the options and give us all the details. She left us to think it over and after a week we knew what we were going to do:
Fully Managed, unfurnished and rent insurance all giving us peace of mind.
The team took us through the landlord responsibilities and gave us some options for local contractors, but also allowed us to go find our own.
I’ve engaged a national company, but left feeling like I have a personal service by local experts who understand my concerns, priorities and preferences. It’s a tough decision to let your home go to be rented, so it’s important to have someone hold your hand and have that peace of mind, they have your best interest at heart. I get the impression they look after tenants too and this is also very important. I’ve left a home in good hands, with a brand new gas boiler and heating system to keep the tenants safe and warm this coming winter.
I’m very sure I’ll be coming back to this property in a couple years and Gail and her team are the ones to help me. If you’re first time renters I hope you found this helpful.

Arranged a viewing, arrived to my viewing on time, was told in my email the agent would meet me outside the property, no one was there, I waited five minutes tried calling the office, couldn’t get through, I noticed someone else standing outside to view the property, she knocked on the door and Sarah Smith suggested we looked around together, I wasn’t going to say no I want to look on my own in front of a stranger, therefore putting me in an awkward position and as a consequence I wasn’t able to view the property properly. I also attended my appointment in rush hour traffic and spent about and hour going to and from, so I’d personally like to thank your move for my first ever interaction with yous. I called the office to highlight my concerns, I was told it was a block booking appointment and I should of been informed which I wasn’t, as money talks all languages it’s quite apparent as a customer what I say or how I feel isn’t really important because someone else will buy the property therefore customer service kinda goes out the window.
