Everyone at Barnard Marcus Southfields were great with us when we bought our flat recently. Ben, Carter, Joe, Ashliegh and Matt are a great team of people to work with I’d recommend them 100%. I had a poor experience with this agency. They booked us a viewing in Wandsworth, sending both a confirmation email and a reminder text on Saturday. Then, just 30 minutes before, they called to say it had been sent by mistake and the tenants wouldn't be home, after we'd already driven 40 minutes to get there. Not what you'd expect from a well-known agency.

Buying and selling a property is already a very stressful time and I found this estate agents overall poor, and general lack of communication exasperated what should be a simple part of the process in relation to viewing properties. I contacted the agency a number of times requesting a viewing to not get through to anyone or told to wait for a callback. When I did finally receive the confirmation, communication issues persisted with no replies to queries, a dead phone line when trying to call, and even a closed office even though we could see someone sitting in there. I was often given the excuse of a tech issue, but no other route to contact them was offered. We were left standing in the cold waiting for the viewing and 15 minutes late the door opened and it appeared the estate agent was waiting inside the whole time. I was very disappointed in the service and even if I was interested in the property I would think twice before buying in case the poor communication carried on delaying the sale.
