We had a great experience with Blake Stanley and would like to thank the whole team for their support throughout the process. Thanks also to Ben Welch for his kindness when visiting our home to take the photographs, and to Matthew Summerfield for managing the sale of the property. Scheduled a flat viewing, flat got rented the night before and I was not let know that our flat viewing had been cancelled (allegedly an email was sent an hour before the viewing but I have no such email in any of my inboxes).

Blake Stanley charges illegal fees to incoming tenants.<br><br>If you are a landlord, I would implore you to consider using a property manager that respects tenants rights and doesn’t squeeze them every tenancy renewal for fees that they know are illegal - they strong arm tenants into paying them anyways as they know the process is complicated to contest.<br><br>Context: I received a decision today from the First Tier tribunal Property Chamber (residential property) ordering Blake Stanley to refund the £64 charged.<br><br>This was charged under the auspices of a “change of tenant”, but there was no change of tenancy when a 12 month agreement comes to a close and new tenants move in!<br><br>I know this seems like a small amount of money, but consider that they pressure every tenant of every property they manage, anytime a contract renews to pay this. It’s illegal for citizens to steal from businesses, so please let’s not allow shady, fraudulent and immoral businesses like Blake Stanley steal from us.<br><br>For other tenants that BlakeStanley has stolen from, please consider reporting them to the First Tier Tribunal and get your money rightfully returned.

Would leave 0/5 but it’s not allowed…
Worst estate agents I have dealt with in London - they have neglected serious health and safety hazards within our flat which they simply forgot to do a check out report on…. I would be extremely cautious of dealing with anyone within this business!

We had a good experience with Blake Stanley. There was good communication throughout the process and they kept things going without being overly pressuring. They are down to earth and positive without being "slick"...
