I highly recommend Brown & Merry in Newport Pagnell, especially Lydia Wilcock, Emily Jones and the wider team, for anyone looking to sell their home.
From the very beginning, when I decided to sell my house in November, Lydia and her colleagues were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. They clearly understood the local market and gave excellent advice from day one.
Despite the market being slower at the time, they successfully found the right buyers within two months, and from going on the market to completion, the full process took five months, which I was very pleased with.
Throughout the process, the team kept me regularly updated on my property’s performance, including Rightmove interest, market conditions, and realistic advice around pricing strategy. Their guidance helped me sell my home as quickly as possible while also achieving the best price I could.
They also recommended Shoosmiths for conveyancing, which turned out to be an excellent recommendation and helped make the whole process run smoothly.
What really stood out was the professionalism and communication of the entire team. They were consistently proactive, informative, and genuinely invested in achieving the best outcome for me.
I’ve been so impressed that I’ve already recommended them to friends and am now using them for a second property sale as well.
If you are thinking about selling your home, I would absolutely recommend Brown & Merry in Newport Pagnell.

We had a very positive home-finding and move-in experience with the Brown&Merry Lettings Team. Emily and Ellie were especially a pleasure to work with: they both provided us with a really smooth and efficient service from passing on our initial offer, through property viewing, referencing to contract signing and handing us the keys to our lovely new home.
They even surprised us with a personalised Home Move Box, which was such a nice touch and made us feel so welcome.
I and my husband can only recommend Emily, Ellie and their Lettings Team to other prospective lettings customers looking for a great service.
I would also like to give a big shout out for Gemma for her amazingly efficient and expert mortgage advice and matching us with the best mortgage lenders.

I cannot praise or recommend Brown and Merry Wendover enough. I have never been one to leave reviews, but I felt incredibly implied to do it in this case.
Our fantastic experience began with viewing the house we were purchasing. We viewed the property two times, firstly with Sylvie and secondly with Ruby. Both were absolutely fantastic experiences, and they both did as much to sell the house as the property itself. On both occasions we were handed beautifully presented brochures, which were fantastic additions to the viewing and more than anything, fantastic memoirs for the house we were purchasing. They were knowledgeable, kind and not in anyway overbearing, completely contrasting all other experiences we had had with estate agents.
We submitted an offer for the property, which was accepted, and were immediately given all options in relation to conveyancing, processes etc. Once again, a really thought through stage.
During our purchase, through no fault of Brown and Merry's, we began having issues with our solicitors. And in particular, issues with an enquiry from our conveyancers. We were advised by them to call Brown and Merry for advice, and upon doing so were passed to Claire. Claire took it upon herself to liaise with us, the sellers, the sellers solicitor, our solicitor etc. to assist in organising a resolution that would allow exchange and completion. She chased everyone almost everyday, updating us throughout and creating communication between both sides where there never was before due to incompetent solicitors. We had a point of contact for which nothing was too much to help with, and the purest example of someone going above and beyond where they were in no way obligated to. I truly believe without Claire's assistance, we would not be at the exchange stage we are now. Thank you Claire.
In summary, if you are thinking of buying or selling through Brown and Merry, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone better.
