We had a valuation from Fulfords but decided to go with another estate agent due to other factors. We found Jessica MacDonald very professional and friendly and the fact we chose another estate agent was no reflection on her whatsoever. She explained Fulfords services very well, she was very respectful of our home and put us at ease. She supplied good written information to help us make a decision following her visit.

The team at Fulfords in Plymstock have been so helpful at all stages of buying my first house. Katie was brilliant at finding me the right mortgage and she explained everything so clearly which was super helpful for a first timer! Ian was also great at making sure I was kept up to date with the process and helped keep things moving. Would definitely recommend.

I can't praise Fulfords estate agents highly enough, after putting our property on the market they found a buyer in a matter of two or three weeks, thanks to Laura and her team which included Ellie, their experience and professionalism showed throughout the selling and buying process, they kept us well informed and we're always polite and helpful if and when we had any questions. So the 5* were well and truly earned.

I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through Fulfords to not bother.
I moved into a property in February 2025 that was not fit to be handed over to a new tenant.
Numerous maintenance issues were outstanding, cleaning had not been done properly, and problems raised by the previous tenant had simply been ignored. From day one, I was forced to chase repairs that should have been completed before I moved in.
Communication was consistently poor. Emails went unanswered for weeks, contractors either did not turn up or were never instructed properly, and at one point the agent was contacting the wrong tenant entirely about works.
I spent an unreasonable amount of my own time following up, coordinating access, and repeatedly explaining the same issues to different people.
Matters became so badly handled that I was forced to escalate a formal complaint to The Property Ombudsman. The complaint was upheld, and compensation was awarded for service failures and poor handling of the tenancy.
Even after this, unresolved issues remained.
When I eventually moved out, Fulfords attempted to deduct money from my deposit for minor cosmetic issues, despite the fact the property was handed to me in a far worse condition and despite their own service failures being formally recognised. Only after pushing back firmly did they agree to return my deposit in full.
I literally moved out of the property with the same issues not fixed. I would imagine that the new tenant will have the same issues to deal with.
Renting is stressful enough without having to fight your letting agent at every stage. This was by far the worst renting experience I have ever had, not because of the property itself, but because of the way it was managed. I would not rent through Fulfords again and I suggest you don't either.
If I could rate them lower than 1 star I would.
Avoid at all costs.

Recently bought a house through Fulfords. I found them professional and easy to deal with. In particular Harry Copping went the extra mile to get answers to our queries in order to reassure us at a very stressful time. One suggestion - it would be helpful if, when staff are away on leave, they could have an auto-reply to that effect on their email to stop us waiting unnecessarily for a response. That said, we would recommend Fulfords and to Harry in particular - thank you so much for all your help.

Excellent service from the team at fulfords when selling our house. Friendly, professional and clearly know their business. Mica was especially brilliant. Always there if I needed her, always got back to me if I left a message. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of selling their home.

I cannot express how helpful Sean and the team have been. Totally professional and keen and willing to go above and beyond. And with a genuine smile. They are genuinely happy to be able to help.
We bought a house through Fulfords a while back and Sean and the team have been part of the story ever since. The aftercare provided has been brilliant. Our relationship continues long after we got the keys.
We have had a little property related issue that we needed some help with. I walked into the office a bit worried. Sean saw my face and smiled when he saw me, sat me down and offered me a cup of tea.
He then listened carefully to the problem, and even though it was nothing to do with him, he smiled again and said ‘leave that with me.’
I walked out reassured and smiling.
A few hours later Sean phoned me and said, ‘it’s all sorted.’ ????
The on going relationship we have with Sean, his team and the company as a whole is such a nice one, it feels like I’ve made a friend.????
