My partner and I had a viewing booked for Sunday at 11:30am, with both a verbal and email confirmation. Unfortunately, we were running 10-15 minutes late due to road closures, so we made multiple attempts to contact the agent/office but no one answered. We arrived around 11:45am, which was still within our viewing slot but no one was there. We waited outside for a further 15 minutes while repeatedly calling the office, but received no response. The estate agent made NO attempt to contact us, despite having our contact details. We even called their East Grinstead branch but they were unable to help.<br><br>To make matters worse, they emailed afterwards claiming the agent had been waiting inside the property for 25 minutes. If that's true, they must have arrived significantly earlier than the agreed 11:30am appointment to make up their supposed "25 minutes" because we arrived at 11:45am. Regardless, the issue isn't how long the agent claims they waited – it's that nobody attempted to contact us at any stage, despite us repeatedly trying to get hold of them. A simple phone call would have avoided this situation.<br><br>I travelled from West London specifically for this viewing, investing both time and money, only to be met with an astonishing lack of communication and customer service. You'd be far better off dealing with Astons or Connells, who at least understand the importance of basic communication and respect for their customers' time.... Read more
