Jack was responsive throughout the purchase of my property and, whenever I contacted him, he helped move matters forward. He also remained helpful after completion when I needed further information about the property. His communication style could sometimes feel quite abrupt, and some early paperwork needed correcting, but overall he was effective and helped bring the purchase to completion. The Prosecco and card when I collected the keys were also a lovely and thoughtful touch!

Our experience with your company has been extremely disappointing. The behaviour of Jack and Chris was rude, dismissive and demeaning. Their approach made it clear that they had little interest in cooperating with prospective buyers or communicating in a professional and respectful manner.<br><br>In addition, we found that some of your property listings did not accurately reflect the information being presented on the property platforms, creating unnecessary confusion and wasting our time.<br><br>As the agency that describes itself as the “number one estate agent in Manchester”, I would suggest that greater emphasis is placed on customer service and communication. Buyers and sellers alike deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, without passive-aggressive or dismissive interactions. Our experience fell well below the standard we would expect from a professional estate agency.

Highly recommend Hills. Excellent communication and always someone at the end of the phone to answer queries. Professional yet friendly approach. Very proactive in marketing my property and no issue in relation to attending viewings when I was unable to be present. A great all round team!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I do often read them. I would just like to say that I think bad reviews sometimes tell you more about the person that wrote them! (Good service goes both ways) I have recently sold with Hills in Swinton and had a brilliant experience. They were very proactive and the whole team was nothing but friendly & professional and they always gave me feedback and good advice. I understand that an estate agent can’t make someone buy a house, and people will only buy if the price matches the condition. John wwas very professional and gave me an honest valuation, chloe was great when she showed people around, and Chris and Taylor and Jack were always available and actually sold my house for more than it was on for! I also bought a house with another estate agent in Swinton and they were nowhere near as good as Hills to deal with. I would definitely recommend Hills to anyone who wants to sell.

Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!!
I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster.
There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket.
The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable.
Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online.
I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit.
If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!
