We rented an 8 bed student home from house and son in Winton. Overall, i'd deffo recommend this letting agency to students who are looking to rent. They were well organised, quick to respond and helped us alot when our landlord was messing us around. I don't remember if it was Poppy or Charlotte who helped directly with getting our deposit back but either way they were both really nice! This was back in 2023 so i dont know if they're still there but oh well. There were some issues with things needing fixing and the landlord was a pain but we somewhat expected that. Compared to our experience with a different letting agecy in 3rd year, i'd choose House and son any day!... Read more

Called to arrange a viewing, had to wait half a day for the agent to call me back only to offer me one slot during school run time. They seemed put out by the idea of having to call the owner to get more slots and even tried to pressure me into taking the slot by suggesting the house was going to sell any minute, which is laughable in the current market. It's been over a week and I still haven't had a call back, glad they're not selling my property.... Read more

I would like to give special recognition to Lilly Armstrong for the excellent support she provided throughout the purchase of our property. Lilly has been extremely patient, approachable and professional from beginning to end. She always took the time to listen, understand our questions and concerns, and communicate clearly and promptly whenever an update was required. What I particularly appreciated was how proactive she was throughout the whole process. She did not simply deal with the standard estate agency activities; she also helped coordinate and support a number of external parties when access to the property was required for the RICS survey, structural engineer inspection and additional viewings. She was always willing to help, kept communication moving between the different parties and made what can naturally be a stressful property purchase considerably easier to manage. Lilly combines excellent customer service with professionalism, reliability and a genuine willingness to find solutions. She represents House & Son extremely well and is exactly the type of estate agent you want supporting you through an important property transaction.
