Following the death of my brother, I appointed JWWood to sell his property. Notwithstanding a perceived problem, the agent obtained numerous offers around the asking price and although one offer fell through after lengthy procrastination by the proposed buyer Clare Richardson and her team rapidly obtained another offer at a higher price. Thereafter Clare became my point of contact and after several months during which numerous issues needed to be resolved, the sale has now been completed.
Many thanks goes to Clare for the professional manner in which she has handled a multitude of issues from the time the property was listed for sale to completion.

What an exceptional service provided from start to finish. Professional, person centered support & communication second to non. Also, friendly & supportive during one of the most stressful processes ever! Julie Leithead was our Property Consultant & what a hardworking, caring member of the team she is. We could not have completed our sale without her, nor asked for anyone better. Julie explained the ongoing process with clarity, offering reassurance when necessary. The whole team at JW Wood, Consett work jointly together, to ensure there was no point we weren't able to speak to someone, including; Denise, Jade & Claire ??????. Julie and Jade have made our experience of purchasing our forever home a great experience and as stress free as possible.
From first contact with Julie, we realised she understood our requirements and she has worked hard to keep us fully informed throughout the buying process.
After acceptance of our offer, Jade’s advice has proved invaluable in guiding us through the following requirements of dealing with the offer and acceptance by the vendor.

My reason for the lower review on my purchase (I gave a 5 star review on my sale) is due to the solicitors involved. I wish I had NEVER accepted the option to go with the solicitors Swinburne Maddison in Durham because they were absolutely terrible. The process between them and Estate Agent was excruciating.
