Valued house at £550k and a week later advised us to reduce price the day after it was advertised because a house nearby was marketed at £525.
The other house clearly needed some refurbishment and the recommendation was based purely on competition and not on an accurate valuation.

I’d had a few estate agents and was struggling to sell it , I had 2 sellers that pulled out at the last minute. However when I changed to watersons they were confident that it would sell and I went with them in February and it was sold in may.

They made sure they notified me when the viewings would be taking place. Potential buyers were always accompanied by a member of staff who always made sure the property was secure when they left. My sales negotiator was friendly and helpful and easy to get hold of.
