22nd Feb 2026 (25 days ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with the rental agency. I was a tenant with them for five years, during which they conducted quarterly inspections. On each visit, no significant issues were ever raised, and I was never informed of any major concerns regarding the condition of the property.<br><br>However, at the end of my tenancy, they suddenly presented an excessive number of alleged issues and proceeded to deduct over £1,600 from my deposit — ultimately returning nothing at all. This was both shocking and deeply frustrating, particularly given the lack of prior complaints throughout my tenancy. The situation feels unfair and unjustified, especially after maintaining a long-term and seemingly trouble-free rental history with them.
13th Mar 2026 (6 days ago)I would thoroughly recommend Hamptons if you are thinking of selling your home. We have just exchanged contracts on a sale and a purchase with their help. The whole team were very professional throughout. We mainly dealt with Davina and Jon. Davina for the purchase of our new home. Davina was very patient and not at all pushy. She really understood our needs which really helped. Jon was more involved with the negotiation, both selling and buying. We really appreciated Jon's patience and calm approach. When the solicitor process started to drag on, Jon stepped in and took control, negotiating with all parties to reach a successful conclusion. I really don't think that we would have exchanged contracts without Jon's help. All very much appreciated. Thank you.

27th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)We used Bridges to sell our house. As part of their service they employ sales progressors. We were allocated Mel. We can not praise her highly enough. As soon as we contacted her with any concerns she actioned our call immediately rang around the chain and got us an update. It was solely due to her that our very large chain progressed to exchange and shortly completion. In addition if she promised to call you back she always did. I would highly recommend bridges and most importantly Mel to anyone thinking of selling their house

A complex chain, with multiple delays, was progressed with patient perseverance to a successful sale. I appreciated Paul's vast experience of sales in the area, plus relationships with local solicitors and other estate agents, which I firmly believe kept our sale on track. Thanks
22nd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)We have just sold our house in Farnham through Charters. Our main contact was Josh Futcher. He has been great at arranging many many viewings and getting people to come and see our house. Finally, one couple, one viewing and that was all we needed. And we are so thrilled to be buying a house through Charters as well. We've had our sights on this particular house for 3 months and finally Josh has made it happen. Josh was a pleasure to work with. Professional, polite and easy to get on with. Thank you so much.
2nd Jan 2026 (11 weeks ago)We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out. Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs. The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference. That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way. After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

They are always a phone call or email away to answer any questions and super friendly to deal with. Thanks again to you both.

They worked hard to find a buyer, then the hard work really started when we found there was a problem with one of the buyers in the chain, and their estate agent dropped the ball. Victoria and Amalia kept chasing throughout and their communication was spot on. I would 100% recommend McCarthy Holden to anyone looking to buy or sell in Fleet.

18th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)We bought a house from Alex at Nicholsons a few years ago and had a great experience so when it came time to sell we knew we wanted to work with him again. Alex and the Nicholsons Fleet team were incredible throughout a very long and drawn out process (due to the chain above). They got our house sold within two days of getting it on the market and when the buyers pulled out six months later due to delays at the top of the chain they found us new buyers, again within a couple of days. Communication was great and Alex kept us updated at every single stage. I highly recommend Nicholsons!
3rd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Seymours appear to have very good local knowledge and their offices cover a wide area. I have put good for value for money as nobody likes parting with it! Having said that they did me a good deal. I have put good for valuation accuracy as the situation is such at the moment that the earlier valuation was greater than the market will stand, although online estimates suggest otherwise and are clearly way too generous!

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

Communication and an honest approach has enabled us to get to this point. Whilst at times we have felt like giving up, Michael has been proactively chasing the chain, sending multiple updates, keeping us informed at all times and kept us motivated for the end goal. By far the best agent out there.

Frank offered what seemed like sound advice so we took it. We sold quickly for a price several thousand pounds above the recommended price of several other agents. we used Franks recommended conveyancer’s, who were very good, and together they drove the sale forward for us. We had six viewings booked within a couple of days and received three offers in less than a week. We accepted an asking price offer after the property had been live on the market less than 7 days. We are able to follow the progress of our sale on an app and have direct contact with EweMove at any time. Best house sales service ever!
