23rd Jun 2026 (12 days ago)As first-time buyers, we were quite nervous about viewing properties and starting the whole buying process, but David made the experience so enjoyable and stress-free from the very beginning.<br><br>He showed us around two flats and was incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of our questions. We learned so much from him, and his honest, genuine advice really stood out. We absolutely loved one of the properties we viewed, but rather than rushing us into a decision, David encouraged us to keep looking at other options to make sure we find the perfect home for us. That level of care and professionalism meant a lot.<br><br>David made us feel comfortable, supported, and never under any pressure. He has been by far the best estate agent, and we can’t thank him enough for all of his help and guidance. 23rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)????? Libby, Mike, and the team at Bridges were outstanding — they didn’t just sell our house, they helped us find our forever home. Mike came to value our property and is genuinely one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of working with. Honest and transparent - and very personable. We knew he and Libby would get get the job done. From the moment we listed, they had buyers through the door within days from their existing client base, resulting in 3 offers at or above asking price. On the buying side, Libby really listened to what we were looking for and, thanks to Bridges’ impressive portfolio, was able to secure us a first viewing on the exact street we’d had our eye on — and then went on to secure the property for us too. What made the whole experience so seamless was how well they managed both sides of the transaction. Libby is a fantastic negotiator, communicated clearly throughout, and went above and beyond organising follow-up viewings with our architect and surveyors. Always responsive, always professional. One of the best — if not the best — estate agents in Fleet. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

2nd Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out. Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs. The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference. That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way. After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

He bent over backwards to try to accommodate us = having lived all over the world, we are highly difficult to please. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Unfortunately, we were not able to purchase a property from Bournes but have since bought elsewhere, but throughout our experience with the company, we have only recommendations.

Henry was great throughout, excellent communication which helped make everything run smoothly. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, from answering our questions to chasing things up on our behalf.<br><br>Henry was really good at taking our feedback on board after viewings and quickly got a sense of exactly what we were looking for. Once we found it, he provided helpful recommendations without being overbearing, which we appreciated.<br><br>We're really happy with the house we ended up with and feel that Henry played a big part in getting us there. We'd happily recommend him and the team at McCarthy Holden to anyone going through the buying process.

19th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)We honestly cannot recommend Jigsaw highly enough<br><br>Having now both bought and sold through them, we've experienced the process from both sides and if we were doing it all again, we'd choose Jigsaw in a heartbeat<br><br>Our sale was far from straightforward. There were plenty of twists, setbacks and moments where we genuinely questioned whether we wanted to continue at all. Throughout the entire process, David was an/our absolute rock. Estate agent almost feels like the wrong job title at this point - he became a mediator, advisor, problem solver, sounding board and occasionally the person talking us back from the brink when things felt impossible<br><br>Nothing was ever too much trouble. David was always there with honest advice, reassurance when we needed it and a level of patience and support that went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. He guided us through every hurdle and helped keep us sane during what could have been a very stressful experience<br><br>We also want to give a huge thank you to Rebekah and Nina, who have both been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Between viewings, updates, phone calls and countless conversations over the last year or so they've always been friendly, professional, approachable and genuinely invested in helping things move forward<br><br>The thing that stands out most about Jigsaw is that you never feel like just another transaction. Because of that positive experience, I decided to use them again when it came to selling my property, and I received the same helpful and supportive service from start to finish. Bradley was always easy to contact, kept me updated throughout, and was incredibly helpful whenever I needed advice or reassurance. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

We didn’t have to chase them and they helped us with chasing solicitors. They kept us well informed throughout the whole process, were always friendly when we contacted them and made a stressful process far less stressful! Plus they work really cohesively as a team and if our main contact was ever unavailable, the rest of the team were helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Nicholsons to anyone - brilliant service. Alex was our main contact and he was fantastic!
