17th Mar 2026 (1 day ago)We experienced an 8 week delay in getting our property live on site and once it was live the description was incorrect and very brief. We received very minimal communication throughout the 16 weeks and no updates provided without prompting from our side. We received no interest or viewings on our property and received no guidance or advice on how we could potentially improve this. Would not recommend for city centre properties or anyone trying to sell their property with a quick turnaround.
10th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!
15th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)We had a difficult and protracted sale, and purchase, of our home but Victoria and Jodie stuck at the process, advising and working around the stressful intricacies of selling and purchasing houses. I would highly recommend you contacting Bridgfords to help you navigate the housing market.

17th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)My partner and I put an offer in on a property advised by Kirkham property last month, we offered the asking price and the offer was accepted and we were told it will be sale dependant due to my partner needing to sell his house. The property remained on the market and we were told by Sue Needham that we will be informed if the property received any other offers. We have since looked on Rightmove and noticed the property is now sold STC. We were never told of this and are extremely disappointed with the poor communication and service by Sue representing Kirkham property. We have since further enquired to view another property, my partner spoke to Sue Needham and she informed him that she needs to speak to the seller as they are living in the house so she will ring him back with availability. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THIS CALL BACK.

Helen Larkin and Beverly were Amazing , we had a lot of ups and downs selling ,nothing but things we couldn’t foresee ,but they were there every step of the way to help and reassure ,it would have been a hard time without them , so a massive Thank you !jane and family
5th Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)AWFUL SERVICE. NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. Why anyone would list with this company is beyond me. They clearly dont act on behalf of their clients. I've called 20 times this week to arrange a viewing and never once answered.

Hayley was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining everything I needed to know. 15th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)The services provided is so bad, one of their staff called talking so disrespectfully as though he is doing me a favour by selling house to me, the day we went to collect key after the sale fall through they attended to us so shabbily, I only went through with the sale because we already gone far...but this team is terrible
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

We recently had our furniture replaced as the landlord wanted a fresh appearance and the process was very smooth and easy for us as tennants

20th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates.<br>Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings.<br>Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.
